Wonderful company to deal with
The only sales person that came to see us in person before quoting, thus ensuring there would be no surprise additions on installation day or post quote. The salesperson Sophie responded to my initial request for quotes through solar quotes very quickly, even though it was the start of the year and everyone was still gradually returning back to work. She also responded to many questions we had post quote as we wanted to ensure we were future proofing for EVs.Installation day was a breeze. The crew arrived a bit later than communicated which caused a little bit of stress, but they arrived just before school drop off so I was still home.
The crew was very considerate. They played a bit of fetch with our dog in the backyard and gave me plenty of notice regarding power outages as I was working from home.
Highly recommend. They didn't try to sell us something we didn't need and responded very quickly.

Great experience
I had a great experience with Vortex Electrical. Quoting process was quick and easy with Sophie. Simon and the guys were great to deal with for the installation. The time from quote approval to install was reasonable. Maddie was always quick to respond to all of my questions via email. It's still early days but our power bill has at least halved since having solar installed.Panel rating: 5/5

Couldn't have asked for better service
Sophie's customer service was outstanding - she made sure she visited and analysed the property (the only company who did), asked me plenty of questions to make sure she understood our needs and aims for the system, and had it all installed within a month of signing the contract.Still awaiting the inspector so we can use the system, but Sophie has already been in contact to organise to come and talk us through the monitoring app. Brilliant.

Sophie and her team of workers were great in the quoting process: reliable, informative and helpful.The installation was excellent: they were punctual, efficient and cleaned up after themselves.
We have just had the system installed so it will late a few weeks to get is all signed off and working.
They were the only company who understood our overall aim of electrification and provided a one stop shop for a big solar system, inverter, installation of new induction cooktop, supply and install of new hot water system and heat pump and a complex job of retrofitting our heating and cooling system, as well as some other minor electrical works. They organised all the trades and extra works (plasterer, painter, carpenter). This made the whole process and project, although expensive, worth the price, because it was a one stop shop, and so efficient. We are now gas free, have electrified everything and will be providing almost all of our energy needs self sufficiently, with the possibility of installing a battery later.
