Excellent service for my EV Charger installation

Quote was very competitive. Communication was clear and appointment scheduling was quick and easy. They just scheduled it as per my convenience and did a good installation of the EV charger and the iHome Manager. Followed up to ensure everything was working. Came back to fix the iHome Manager and ensured the PV system and EV charger are communicating properly.

Outstanding experience from start to finish, highly recommend Hills Natural Solar!

After extensive research, I chose Hills Natural Solar to install a 9.5kW solar system paired with a 24kWh Sigenstor LFP battery with full blackout protection and six months on, I couldn't be happier with the decision.

From the very beginning, Aishah was exceptional. She was responsive, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth. When it came to payment, she was flexible and accommodating, helping me structure a split payment arrangement between a credit card and bank transfer without any fuss, which I really appreciated.

The scheduling and pre-installation communication was thorough and clear. Matt and the team arrived promptly on the day, were professional throughout, and had everything up and running efficiently.

What truly set Hills Natural Solar apart was Aishah's support after installation. My property is on an embedded network, which adds real complexity when dealing with retailers and distributors and it's not a straightforward process. Aishah worked tirelessly behind the scenes, coordinating with Origin Energy and handling the paperwork and permissions with Endeavour Energy on my behalf. She kept me informed every step of the way and followed up proactively, even when I was getting conflicting information from Origin's phone support. That level of post-installation care is rare and genuinely impressive.

Six months in, the system is performing beautifully. The Aiko 475W N-type ABC panels are delivering excellent output even in low-light conditions, the Sigenstor battery keeps us covered through the night and during outages, and the AI-based optimisation has noticeably reduced our grid reliance. The system is also VPP-ready and future-proofed for EV integration, which gives me great confidence in the long-term value of this investment.

If you're considering solar, especially if your property has any complexity like an embedded network, Hills Natural Solar are the people to call. Thank you Aishah and the whole team!

Clean and professional installation with Hills Natural Solar

Great experience with Hills Natural Solar. The installers were very professional and the wiring in the garage is exceptionally neat.

A big plus was their cleanliness--they took all the installation rubbish away and left the site tidy. Highly recommend them for anyone in the hills region.

The perfect installer

I know that picking the right solar company can be a very daunting, especially since there are so many choices out there. Let me tell you from personal experiences, you won’t go wrong with Hills Natural Solar. If you are looking for a solar company that is professional and values you as a customer, pick them.

I originally went with a large company with great reviews, but had to cancel our contract because they didn’t value my time as a customer. It was a very frustrating, 5 month process that the led to nowhere.

After starting the whole process again and getting a few more quotes. I found Hills Natural Solar and let me tell you the difference between a large company and a family owned business is night and day.

Here are my key takeaways:
My first interaction was with Phillip, he was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. He talked me through the different systems and easily explained any technical questions I had. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. He gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision.

Then there was my interaction with the team at the office. Aishah and the team helped schedule my pre installation inspection and installation date. They also helped do all the necessary paperwork. They were prompt to answer phone calls and emails. They kept me informed throughout the process.

For the pre-installation inspection, Matt arrived and walked me through the process. He helped me decide where the most appropriate place to put the battery would be and made sure that it was in accordance with the safety rules and regulations. He also checked the switchboard/meter box to make sure everything was in compliance. This assured that there would be no surprises on installation day.

Glenn and his team arrived early on installation day. They did an amazing job. Our inverter and battery are on opposite sides of the house and cabling had to go through the roof. All the cables were neatly installed for a clean finish. Great attention to detail! They finished up in half a day and left everything clean and tidy.

The whole process was done within 4 weeks. Hills Natural Solar made everything easy and stress free. We are very happy with our new system. Amazing customer service, professional and highly recommended.

Highly recommend

Aisha, Phil and the team were so good to deal with. We had an inspection and quote within a week of first making contact. They were happy to answer all our questions and canvass different options, nothing was too much trouble. The installation team were all very good to deal with, friendly, only time, am left the site clean and tidy when leaving. The system is great and app installation etc has been very simple. Could not recommend them highly enough!

Exceptional service and a high-quality, future-proof solar system

Phil expertly guided me through designing the ideal system, while Aishah kept me updated throughout, especially during delays caused by a Sigenergy inverter recall. She worked hard to prioritise my project and handled the smart meter exchange smoothly. The installation was timely, courteous, and thorough, including a custom battery cover. Despite needing a meter box upgrade for blackout protection, the process was seamless. They Do What They Say

The quote was produced in a personalised, friendly and efficient manner. All my questions were answered directly and honestly. Nothing was too much trouble, even in a pressurised time period leading up to the festive period and big changes in government rebates.

Quality experience all round!

All the team at HNS showed genuine care and professionalism from the first contact, through quote, installation and follow-up. They said what they were going to do, and did what they said. Excellent Installer

The sales process went very well from the initial quote to a site visit to discuss it in detail.
Installation went well. They arrived on time, kept the site very tidy, answered some additional questions I had and when through the system with me after it was installed.
Customer Service was excellent. They took the time to show me the main components of the system, and where the switches were to disconnect the solar and the grid if I had to.

Great product installed professionally and effortlessly

We did our research and, after a number of quotes, we decided to proceed with Hills Natural Solar installing a 40kw SigEnergy Sigenstore battery as a retrofit to our existing solar panels.

Dealing initially with Philip we found the quotation process, including answering a myriad of our questions, dealt with professionally and in a timely, and most importantly, knowledgeable way. We agreed to proceed with HNS as their pricing was good and we knew we were dealing with a reputable local installer.

Once we agreed to proceed, the contracting, scheduling and final pre install process was organised through Aishah who was a delight to deal with.

The final day of installation came and it was as promised. Matt and his team were on time, efficient and cleaned up behind themselves. They were always courteous and, going above our expectations, delivered a fantastic product.

Great customer service!

I got a quote for panels and a battery in April this year from Phil but decided to wait until the rebates were finalised. After the dust had settled, I asked for a new quote. Site inspection and installation dates were organised by Aishah and the communication was faultless. When Matt came out to do a site inspection, it turned out that it was not possible to install additional panels despite Matt and his capable assistant (whose name I never got) looking at all options. We ended up going with just a battery.
I would highly recommend Hills Natural Solar for battery installation. I would gladly go with them for panels if we had the need.

Very happy with Hills Natural Solar

We purchased a Sigenergy 48kWh battery, 25kW inverter and 16kW of panels to replace our 15-year-old solar system. Hills Natural Solar were very responsive in the design and specification process, coming up with several alternatives as our ideas evolved. The installation commenced on the appointed day and proceeded smoothly. Everything they promised was delivered and my house was left exactly as they found it. The job reflects attention to detail in a clean and tidy installation and it has been delivering to specification from day one. As I write this, a month has passed and the system has worked without any issues throughout that time. By coincidence we had a black out last week and everything kept working in our house, there was not one single clock to reset or computer to reboot - again, exactly as promised. In summary, by our standards this was a very significant purchase - we took the plunge based on our first impressions dealing with Hills Natural Solar and reading other customer reviews and I am pleased to say that we are delighted with the outcome.

Great install, friendly staff

Hills Natural Solar took the time to explain the system at the quoting phase, listen to my requirements and build something that was very suitable, which integrated my existing Fronius solar system. There were no pressure-sales tactics, and the transaction was easy.

A visit was first made to perform a site survey, two weeks prior to installation, at which point Matt discussed all the options and helped us get an ideal location, and again, ensure that everything was ready.

On install day, they turned up promptly, professionally installed the product and got everything done by just after lunch time.

All in all, highly recommended installer.

The best and most effective team I have ever met

Hills Natural Solar, a small business that help you work around all issues and have your back all the way.

Phil was awesome to tailor made our system, with his wealth of knowledge he answered all our questions quickly . He came by to inspect the site to ensure he has all corners covered.

Matt with his team installed the solar system with battery quickly and perfectly, he had setup and explained the app and how system works and behaves in all scenarios. He also went above and beyond the scope of work to future proof our home (installed extra conduit in the trench between our garage and home ).

Aishah was always there for us and very quick to respond.

I highly recommend Hills Natural Solar.

Hills Natural Solar has just completed the installed of a 12.35 kw solar and 24Kwh battery system. I undertook an extensive quoting and evaluation process before selecting Hills Natural Solar for this job. Everything about the engagement, installation and after sales process was excellent - Aishah was great to deal from the first phone call, answering many, many questions I had about the technical details of the product and the whole process of installation, including the government rebates etc. Matt was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful when I needed to change the date for the removal of my old solar system so I could organise a roofer to replace part of the roof before the new system could be installed.
Aishah's customer service is incredible and she was always available to immediately answer questions and find solutions to any queries . Nothing was too much trouble and she kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I could not fault the whole experience with Matt and Aishah. I would highly recommend Hills Natural Solar.

Highly professional and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Hills Natural Solar assessed our needs and gave us a very competitive quote on a number of Solar+battery systems. The sales rep was punctual and most informative. Overall, it was their attention to detail and thorough, accurate, easy to understand, paperwork which sold us on this quality company – plus the fact that they install the system themselves without relying on contractors. The front office kept us informed every step of the way. The installation over one and a half days was very professionally done and they cleaned up after themselves. Every person we met from this company was very polite and obliging. After the install they showed us how to use the system, what continues to work or doesn't work during a blackout and what to do if an electrician needs to turn the system off for any reason. They helped us install the App and explained its functions. We thoroughly recommend Hills Natural Solar and wish Matt, Aishah, Phill and the Hills Natural Solar team every success.

Great experience start to end

We started the process at about the worst time, a couple of months before the federal rebate kicked in. Phillip, Matt and Aishah explained everything clearly, including the unknowns at the time, worked through multiple quotes with us and ultimately installed a fantastic system.

All communication was prompt, clear and helpful, and the installation itself was painless (except for the wifi, sorry about that ?). The whole crew was highly professional.

We're very happy with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hills to anyone.

Flawless Battery Install with Ongoing Support That Delivers
