Excellent Service and Quality

I recently had a solar and battery system installed by PBR Electrical & Solar, and the experience was excellent. Paul gave clear, honest advice during quoting and helped me choose the right system with no pressure.

Dillon and his team did the installation and was tidy, professional, and completed on time. Dillon also walked me through the monitoring app and made sure everything worked properly.

Communication was reliable and friendly throughout, making the whole process easy.

Great installation job and personalised quotation service

From the get go I felt PBR stood above the rest of the other solar retailers that I talked to. Paul did a wonderful job of keeping the quotation and design process personalised to my needs. He’s the only one who offered a face to face call and explained everything in detail. He did the design on the spot during the call and presented multiple options and quotes during the call.

After accepting the offer, a site visit was scheduled and Ethan made assessment on site to confirm that the design we agreed is feasible and even presented possible ways how the wirings will go. During the installation day Dillon explained everything that will happen and did a wonderful job installing the inverter and battery, making sure that everything is done right. The boys did a good job in installing the panels as well and didn’t even break a single tile in the roof. The only thing I can think can be improved is the boys need to be more careful when using equipments especially on white painted walls, there was a ladder mark left on one side of my wall where they used a ladder in routing the wirings. But other than that, I can highly recommend PBR Solar.

Impressive Solar Install Company

The salesman was knowledgeable and impressive. He came to quote very soon after we contacted the company. He was very helpful in assisting us to complete the forms for the solar rebates,
The installation team arrived exactly at the time promised. They were polite and efficient and left no mess at all. All the old panels were removed and taken away for disposal.
The customer service was very good. Ethan even returned the next day after I asked for help in how to understand the app which had been loaded to my mobile. I would have no hesitation in recommending PBR Solar to others looking to upgrade and install a battery.

No Corners Cut, Just Pure Quality - My Journey with PBR Solar!

From the very first call with Paul, I knew I was in good hands. His honesty, transparency, and clear communication made the whole process easy and stress?free.

We tested it off grid and it worked flawlessly. Dillon’s workmanship was excellent. He was professional and fair in every dealing. Fantastic installer

Couldn't be happier with my experience with PBR Solar. From the time Solar Quotes gave me their details to chose from 3 companies to completion the whole process was pleasurable.
Paul Wesolek was brilliant as a sales consultant. Very knowledgable and professional in designing the system and panel locations working from a satellite image and was just so friendly. No pressure sales pitch. Just provided what he thought suitable and very reasonably priced.
The installation went smoothly and I was amazed how unobtrusive they made all the cabling from the panels. Very impressive work by Ethan and his team and had fully explained the connection setup.
My wife and I were so amazed at how much electricity we were generating and sending so much to the grid I got in touch with Paul again about adding a battery and again he was so good in preparing a quote which we readily accepted.
Ethan came again to install and we are thrilled with the end product. The Fronius Reserva battery looks great.

Excellent service from start to finish

Our experience with PBR Solar has been outstanding. The sales and quoting process was clear, detailed, and tailored to our household needs. Paul was fantastic throughout — patient, knowledgeable, and transparent. He took the time to explain each option, outlining both advantages and disadvantages so we could make an informed decision.

The installation team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were polite and respectful throughout the day. They were flexible around our schedule, and the entire installation was neat and tidy.

Customer service after installation was equally impressive. Dillion Betts explained how our system was set up and handled all administrative tasks related to connecting the system to the grid, which was a huge relief and greatly appreciated.

PBR Solar installed our new system this week. I was impressed with their service from the thorough and personalised design and quotation, to the installation. The team were courteous, professional and very considerate. The installation was smooth and appears well done. I can't comment on use of the system yet, as its early days. Fantastic installation & excellent quoting

The sales/quoting was second to none they went above and beyond to give us multiple quotes for different setups and nothing was too much trouble.

Seamless and efficient solar install process

Paul was great at answering all my questions relating to the quote and general questions relating to batteries.
Dillon was great at addressing my concerns about trying to conserve the space and safety of the location of the battery while preserving aesthetics in our garage space during trite inspection.
The installation was straightforward and punctual. Any concerns or delays were relayed to me very promptly by Dillon. Dillion spent time going through how to use the mySigen solar app and what happened next after the solar. Highly recommend these guys.

A stellar experience that ends with low power bills!

The team at PBR Solar went above and beyond from initially driving out to view our place, to adjusting the plan when issues arose. When our system was put in a few days earlier than originally scheduled the install went off without a hitch.

Their service, communication and product work have been first class and we are happy with both them, and our net 0 grid pull since the install. :)

Great service and very helpful through the quoting process. Very professional to deal with and no fuss. The owner of the company did the installation with his team on site.

PBR removed our old panels and inverter and recycled.

Installation happened on the date advised and was completed on the day.

System comprised new panels, gateway, inverter, battery and EV charger.

The team was professional, polite and left the place clean. After commissioning, the owner Dillon ran through all the components of the system and the Mysigen App with me at the end of the day.

PBR arranged the grid connection before the install.

All in all, very happy with the PBR team and the system installed.

Outstanding Solar Installation Experience with PBR Electrical

PBR Electrical recently installed my solar system, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and with great communication.

Paul was my first point of contact, he was extremely helpful and patient. He took the time to explain the different options in detail, answered all my questions thoroughly, and never pressured me into making a decision. Compared to other providers I spoke with, his advice was by far the most genuine and helpful.

Scheduling the installation was easy, and Paul kept me informed at every step. On installation day, Dillon and the team did an excellent job. Dillon walked me through the process before they started, kept me updated throughout, and after finishing, he explained the setup in detail — including how to use the inverter and the app that shows the energy generation and consumption metrics.

After installation, the follow-up and coordination for inspection were seamless, and communication remained top-notch the entire time. The pricing was fair, and negotiations were straightforward and transparent.

Overall, I can’t fault anything in this experience. I’m extremely happy with the system and the service I received. A huge thank you to Paul, Dillon, and the whole PBR Electrical team for their excellent work. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional solar installation company.

Sunning in solar!

We were new to the world of solar and contacted three firms for quotes. Paul made us feel very comfortable in presenting firstly solar and secondly PBR. His ability to explain the system and benefits (including going through spreadsheets!) was next level compared to the other two providers. Commercially the three quotes were similar, but Paul’s explanations where more thorough and in depth.

The installation team headed by Dillon and Ethan was fantastic. Dillon undertook an initial site inspection, then Ethan arrived on the appointed date and on time. They worked throughout the day until late to ensure the job was completed. There was no mess at all, and they were very professional and polite. If we asked for anything it was provided immediately and they were happy for any questions.

PBR Review

I sent out quite a few quote requests, and PBR stood out from the others straight away. Paul took lots of time during our initial call to understand our needs and to study the property. His design met our brief. We spoke a few times and he answered our questions and adjusted the plan as we went.
This contrasts with the other companies that sent me a design by email without trying to understand my needs or model alternatives.
Dillon came to visit the house, to plan the install.
The installation itself was excellent. The layout of the house is tricky, and there were some unexpected issues late in the day with our 3-phase wiring, but Ethan and his team worked until it was rectified.
I felt they were invested in a good outcome, and suspect that has a lot to do with the owners being hands-on. For example they took care to hide the wiring coming from the roof, and to make the battery and other components look presentable.
The other thing I like is their attention to safety. I felt that Dillon and Ethan looked after their team. As a customer I don't want costs to be cut by them taking undue risks.
I am reassured that they are available for any issues that might arise - leaving their direct contact details at the end of the job gives me confidence that they are happy with the outcome.

A pleasant installation experience

Paul came to give us a quote which started our solar learning process. Amongst the 4 quotes we received, and after some in-depth research (AI is great!), I found that all the details Paul provided were customised for our situation rather than just an off-the-shelf solution. They were spot on including direction of the panels, panel tilt, what panels to use, etc. Then Ethan came for an onsite inspection. Ethan and his team answered my specific questions regarding the single phase backup deficiency of the Powerwall 3. They obviously know their stuff and didn’t BS me. Despite PBR wasn’t the cheapest, nor they had a local showroom nearby, I found the decision to engage with them relatively easy.

It took 2 days to install. Ethan and his team were thoughtful, polite, and accommodative of our needs. I often think the word “professional’ was over-used, but i think they were very professional. I had a pleasant installation experience and will recommend my friends and neighbours to Ethan / Paul.

I have installed solar a number of time. PBR Solar and their team has to the best solar company that i have worked with in the last 10 years. Smooth process from start to finish , even hand holding me through the process at every step. Paul is a legend and so is Dillon who are really friendly and happy to help with any queries. Amazing installer and beautiful design !

PBR solar is ahead of time, great technology and products, Jinko and Synergy battery is very slim line and beautiful.
The quoting and sales process was at eased and comfortable. We trusted Paul’s quote immediately vs other Solar providers out there. He explained and provided options to what is best for our household and family, as well as our options on how to finance the loan.
Once we made the decision, the installer Team Dylan and Ethan were wonderful to deal with and installation process, no stress and they contact our service electrical providers and setting up the Apps on your phone. They do all the leg work for you.
They were courteous, polite and technically knowledgeable. We are confident our electrical $$$ will go down in no time and save $$$ to invest on holidays.

Fantastic service from quoting stage to installation!

From quoting stage to install, we had a very pleasant experience. We mainly decided to go with PBR Solar after talking to many other solar companies, due to the fact that they had their own team of amazing installers.

Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable during the quoting stage and was able to answer all our questions and get us a system that fit perfectly with all our requirements.

Eathan and the team of installers did an amazing job with completing the installation. They were very efficient, respectful of our property and left the place tidy when they were done.

Amazing company!

PBR Solar was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Sales team spent almost 2 hours on call with me explaining the system and the cost without pressuring me to sign anything and respected my timeline. They maintained excellent communication from the quoting to end of installation.

Best quote ans service around

Initial call was so easy, followed by a lengthy FaceTime chat during which every aspect of our needs and concerns were addressed.
PBR took the time to review our energy accounts / usage to come up with alternative plans for discussion. Everything was discussed with no stones left unturned and there was no pressure to make a quick decision. They made themselves easily accessible for any queries we later had.
We were fully informed of the process and quotes for consideration

The installation guys were timely, highly organised, the pride in their work was quite evidentiary through the high level of teamwork from beginning to end.
Upon completion, we were shown everything, the inverter was explained and were connected up to ISolarICloud. Plus it was explained also. We were left with a guarantee that help was a phone call away IF needed at any time.

Very happy with the installation from start to finish

I went through multiple quotes for solar and eventually went with PBR for their existing reviews, knowledge of the product and advice. The pricing wasn’t the cheapest, but still very competitive.

I am extremely happy with the sales and installation process. PBR was one of the few installers that was willing to spend considerable time to understand my need. Thanks very much Paul for spending hours and hours explaining what I am getting before I made any financial commitment. Not pushy at all.

The installation by Dillon was also great. The team showed up promptly at 7:30am and got everything done by 3pm. The cabling was neat and everything was tidied up before they left.

Weathering the Storm: PBR Solar Delivers Exceptional Service and Results

Starting with Paul I cannot express my thanks enough for his insights and patients with my questions and alterations to the final 15.4kW solar system we purchased. Dillon and his team worked under demanding conditions with horizontal rain and wind at times, to deliver an amazing addition to our home which has already, in the short time we have had it, enabled us to live without dipping into the grid supply. Considering the weather and almost constant cloud in our area is no mean feat. Our 16kWh battery is full every day and there is plenty still available when the sun rises the following day to continue the savings. As for the work done and the clean condition of our home when the crew left I, as an ex-sparkie, could not be happier. Amazing service, fantastic installation, very happy

The quote and sales process was very smooth, with PBR being the only company who we approached who actually came out on site to quote accurately.
All aspects of the process were great, with good communication, very informative, and excellent on site installation taking place. The entire team at PBR were outstanding, and answered all of my (very many) questions.
The after install handover was also very good, with PBR taking care of the grid connection and liasing with the wholesaler and our retailer to finish it all off.
I cannot recommend PBR enough - we are very pleased with the work they have done, and at the right price too.

- Paul was the one who did the sales/quoting process. He provided a detailed, personalized information, courteous and prompt service all the time. He was very patient with all the questions I asked. He even replied back on his days off (weekends).
Dillon and his men completed the installations within the agreed timelines. They were punctual, polite and the installations were completed smoothly. They explained everything in detail after the installation about the grid, battery switchboard.etc. Tidy up and leave the areas clean. Hats off to all of them. Dillon also responded promptly to any minor issues after the installations.

Excellent work and Instant results

Dillon and the team showed up every time exactly when they committed;installation went smoothly with plenty of resources on hand; quality electrical work with switchboards, gateways, battery - very neat work; Inspector signed off without issue. Sigenergy battery, inverter and gateway is working well and looks fantastic. System worked instantly and app shows us constantly what is happening. As I sit here on a cold, cloudy day in August (winter!), I can see we are actually generating 2.7kw from the solar, consuming 1.1kw (I have reverse cycle a/c running in my home office), so the battery is being recharged. Overnight, we will consume less KwH than the battery can store - and this is with cloud in winter. I wish we had done this sooner, and I can happily recommend PBR Solar.

Very Positive Experience

I found PBR very easy to work with and their team professional, courteous and efficient. They assisted me to work through the options available for my solar installation and, once my decision was made to install panels and a battery, liaised with government agencies and utility providers to ensure the whole experience was seamless and painless. They turned up on schedule on installation day, completed the work quickly and without drama and cleared all packaging and debris from the premises. I was then guided through the process of final commissioning of the system and the operation of the monitoring software application. The whole experience of working with PBR was excellent.

Highly Recommend PBR for Solar Installation

We contacted and received quotes from several companies for solar panel installation, and it took us a lot of time and consideration to decide which one to choose. Ultimately, we chose PBR because Paul visited our home in person and took the time to explain everything in detail about solar installation and shared his professional opinions.

We initially thought it would take a long time to get the system installed, but thanks to Paul, it was scheduled on the earliest available date. On the day of installation, Ethan and his team arrived exactly on time and explained the work they would be doing before getting started.

The installation was completed in a surprisingly short amount of time. After the installation, Ethan gave us a brief explanation of how to use the system. Both the solar system and EV charger were installed, and the team cleaned up the area thoroughly — it was as neat as it was before they started.

Even after the installation was finished, there was an issue with the EV charger not working properly. Ethan spent a long time trying to resolve it with Goodwe’s customer support. In the end, it wasn’t the support team, but Ethan himself who managed to fix the charging issue. However, the PV Prior setting still hasn’t been resolved.

I would highly recommend this company to others. I'm grateful to Paul, Ethan, and the rest of the team for their effort and professionalism.

Great sales experience and install

Paul came out to our site which had some challenges to fully understand our issues.
He then showed me an installed system so I could see what finished product would be like.
Dilon said it was a two day install but I the afternoon pulled in extra people to complete it the same day.
He then followed up for inspection and answered all my questions really promptly.

Old fashion service and high tech installation

I was sent a text before they came and four members of the team arrived and went to work. The installation was complex because the battery was installed in a different building to the meter. They did a fantastic job and left the place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend PBR and special thanks to Paul Williams who helped choose the batteries and Dylan Betts and his installation team.
