PBR were brilliant

My wife and I are very house proud and PBR took great care with the installation to ensure wiring etc did not spoil the look of our house in any way.
They consulted with us on positioning etc to make sure we were happy.
On completion the team leader showed us how to use the App so we could monitor the system, and helped us install it on both of our phones.
The system works really well and the PBR team were very courteous and efficient.

From the initial proposal and quotation stage through to pre inspection and installation, PBR were an obliging company to deal with, and we had confidence in all the advice they gave.

Great experience from go to whoa

Paul at PBR spent hours with us over several sessions, designing a customised system based on our household needs both now and into the future. Install wise, Dillan and the team were punctual, worked fast, completed the job within their time estimate and left the site spotless. We're about 10 days in now post installation and everything has been working amazingly well.

Very happy with PBR battery install!

Paul provided excellent presales support which was further strengthen by Ethan's timely onsite visit. Both were very willing to answer all my 'layman' questions in language I could understand. In the end I opted for a Sigenergy 24kwh battery with an 8kwh inverter. I already had panels.
On the day of the install Dillion and the team did an excellent job. They arrived on time, were extremely polite and left the site in a clean and tidy state. Additionally, after discussion on the day Dillion uninstalled my previous inverter to further 'future proof' my system. This was done at no additional cost.
Overall, their customer service is exceptional as they arranged all the paperwork and explained how to use the Sigenergy app. prior to leaving the site. I have not required any after sales support!

Cannot Fault

I cannot fault PBR Electrical from the point of initial contact through to completion of the installation. Paul completed a comprehensive analysis of our power usage and pattern to determine the optimal panel number and position. He explained why he was recommending the configuration we installed, giving opportunity to question and change at any point. The installation team led by Ethan, was punctual, efficient and were done on the same day. In terms of being neat and tidy, I think they left the place cleaner than they found it! Ethan consulted me on any variations required (and we had a couple due to the switchboard and shadow of a tree that were identified once on site, both of which were completed at no additional charge) and the communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Once the installation was complete Ethan assisted me to setup the app and ran through how to use it as well as provided an overview of the battery. Support contact details were also provided. As I said, cannot fault anything in the process and would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

Happily recommend

They were very competitive price wise, friendly and informative from the start of the quoting process all the way through the installation. The whole process progressed smoothly and without complications. Also, my roof is terracotta tiles on a 30% degree angle - not a roof I feel comfortable walking on, so all credit to the team.

Great service and installation

Contacted PBR Solar via Solar Quotes. Paul came out on site within couple of days and explained and discussed the different alternatives and shortly after sent 3 options through to me. I did some research and decided on 16kw panels, 32 kw battery and all the other technical bits that come with it.
Gave me an install date, Dillon visited to do the ‘checks’ a few weeks later. On install date they turned up on time and installation was completed by mid afternoon, managed efficiently and informatively by Ethan.
I’ve only used a little bit of grid since installation as I charged my EV too late in the day. I’ll start charging it more often so it can take advantage of the sun and I don’t have to rely on the battery. Using aircon, pool filter etc etc.
Great service and very happy with the system, 100% recommend PBR.

We had a good experience with PBR solar and Dillzap Electical. They were professional and respectful. There was a problem with the system afterwards and Dillan promptly identified that and came to fix it. I highly recommend this company for your solar installation.

A good job well done

My experience from the quote process with Paul and the installation with Dillon, Ethan and their team was fantastic.

Paul is very knowledgeable about renewables. He took me through a few different options on a Teams call and we landed on the system I ended up installing.

Ethan, Dillon and their team showed up on time and finished the job with care. They had to come back another day to install the bollard but they got my system up and running the day it was installed. Both times, they cleaned up the work area and left the place in a neat and tidy condition.

I've had the system for about 3 months now, and my car and house energy bills have gone to zero. I'm being paid by my energy retailer to sell my excess battery power to the grid at peak hours.

Overall, I'm happy to recommend PBR solar.

Quality installation

Paul was my first contact at PBR, we had a really in depth conversation about my needs and wants out of our solar and battery installation. This was our third quote and it ticked all the boxes.
Prior to site inspection I had decided on some changes, (battery location, no conduit running all over the house). We have a seperate garage and this is where the battery was installed, cabling had to be run along a cat wire, this is the only visible conduit, nothing was a problem and I was told their job was to ensure I had the installation that I was completely happy with and not a compromise.
At of installation came and the whole crew were polite, and just worked all day. It was nice to see young guys with good work ethic.
Ethan did the installation and he made a couple of suggestions which made the job an even better instal.
So happy with everything from start to finish.

Solar and Battery Solution supplied and installed by a Highly Effective Team

The following sums up our recent experience with PBR Solar, one of the three installers presented by Solar Quotes.

An initial face-to-face consultation was the prerequisite of embarking on our Solar System journey. Paul was punctual and proceeded to present a range of options to match our needs and expectations. The four detailed quotes that he provided included ‘Panels’ (only) and ‘Panels+Battery’. Patient clarifications were provided during the one-on-one discussions that followed. Once a quote was accepted, Paul was thorough in his guidance with the ‘how to’ complete and submit the various ‘official paperwork’.

Although the weather was inclement on the day, Ethan and his team arrived on site keen to get the ‘Panels+Battery’ installation completed; between the rain showers. The Safety practices that were displayed reflected an excellent work ethic. The teamwork was indicative of a group of professionals who will go ‘that extra step’ to deliver a high level of Customer Service. This was borne out with the relocation of the TV antenna by Kingsley and his team; thus removing any possible late afternoon shade intrusion across one of the four Panel arrays. The clean, efficient workmanship and courteousness of all team members are sound indicators of a positive company culture.

The professionalism displayed throughout the entire process and an assurance to provide follow-up support ‘as required’ leads to the conclusion of highly recommending PBR Solar to prospective clients.

Great installation job and personalised quotation service

From the get go I felt PBR stood above the rest of the other solar retailers that I talked to. Paul did a wonderful job of keeping the quotation and design process personalised to my needs. He’s the only one who offered a face to face call and explained everything in detail. He did the design on the spot during the call and presented multiple options and quotes during the call.

After accepting the offer, a site visit was scheduled and Ethan made assessment on site to confirm that the design we agreed is feasible and even presented possible ways how the wirings will go. During the installation day Dillon explained everything that will happen and did a wonderful job installing the inverter and battery, making sure that everything is done right. The boys did a good job in installing the panels as well and didn’t even break a single tile in the roof. The only thing I can think can be improved is the boys need to be more careful when using equipments especially on white painted walls, there was a ladder mark left on one side of my wall where they used a ladder in routing the wirings. But other than that, I can highly recommend PBR Solar.

Impressive Solar Install Company

The salesman was knowledgeable and impressive. He came to quote very soon after we contacted the company. He was very helpful in assisting us to complete the forms for the solar rebates,
The installation team arrived exactly at the time promised. They were polite and efficient and left no mess at all. All the old panels were removed and taken away for disposal.
The customer service was very good. Ethan even returned the next day after I asked for help in how to understand the app which had been loaded to my mobile. I would have no hesitation in recommending PBR Solar to others looking to upgrade and install a battery.

Fantastic installer

Couldn't be happier with my experience with PBR Solar. From the time Solar Quotes gave me their details to chose from 3 companies to completion the whole process was pleasurable.
Paul Wesolek was brilliant as a sales consultant. Very knowledgable and professional in designing the system and panel locations working from a satellite image and was just so friendly. No pressure sales pitch. Just provided what he thought suitable and very reasonably priced.
The installation went smoothly and I was amazed how unobtrusive they made all the cabling from the panels. Very impressive work by Ethan and his team and had fully explained the connection setup.
My wife and I were so amazed at how much electricity we were generating and sending so much to the grid I got in touch with Paul again about adding a battery and again he was so good in preparing a quote which we readily accepted.
Ethan came again to install and we are thrilled with the end product. The Fronius Reserva battery looks great.

Seamless and efficient solar install process

Paul was great at answering all my questions relating to the quote and general questions relating to batteries.
Dillon was great at addressing my concerns about trying to conserve the space and safety of the location of the battery while preserving aesthetics in our garage space during trite inspection.
The installation was straightforward and punctual. Any concerns or delays were relayed to me very promptly by Dillon. Dillion spent time going through how to use the mySigen solar app and what happened next after the solar. Highly recommend these guys.

A stellar experience that ends with low power bills!

The team at PBR Solar went above and beyond from initially driving out to view our place, to adjusting the plan when issues arose. When our system was put in a few days earlier than originally scheduled the install went off without a hitch.

Great service and very helpful through the quoting process. Very professional to deal with and no fuss. The owner of the company did the installation with his team on site.

PBR removed our old panels and inverter and recycled.

Installation happened on the date advised and was completed on the day.

System comprised new panels, gateway, inverter, battery and EV charger.

The team was professional, polite and left the place clean. After commissioning, the owner Dillon ran through all the components of the system and the Mysigen App with me at the end of the day.

PBR arranged the grid connection before the install.

All in all, very happy with the PBR team and the system installed.

Outstanding Solar Installation Experience with PBR Electrical

PBR Electrical recently installed my solar system, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and with great communication.

Paul was my first point of contact, he was extremely helpful and patient. He took the time to explain the different options in detail, answered all my questions thoroughly, and never pressured me into making a decision. Compared to other providers I spoke with, his advice was by far the most genuine and helpful.

Scheduling the installation was easy, and Paul kept me informed at every step. On installation day, Dillon and the team did an excellent job. Dillon walked me through the process before they started, kept me updated throughout, and after finishing, he explained the setup in detail — including how to use the inverter and the app that shows the energy generation and consumption metrics.

After installation, the follow-up and coordination for inspection were seamless, and communication remained top-notch the entire time. The pricing was fair, and negotiations were straightforward and transparent.

Overall, I can’t fault anything in this experience. I’m extremely happy with the system and the service I received. Sunning in solar!

We were new to the world of solar and contacted three firms for quotes. Paul made us feel very comfortable in presenting firstly solar and secondly PBR. His ability to explain the system and benefits (including going through spreadsheets!) was next level compared to the other two providers. Commercially the three quotes were similar, but Paul’s explanations where more thorough and in depth.

The installation team headed by Dillon and Ethan was fantastic. Dillon undertook an initial site inspection, then Ethan arrived on the appointed date and on time. They worked throughout the day until late to ensure the job was completed. There was no mess at all, and they were very professional and polite. If we asked for anything it was provided immediately and they were happy for any questions.

PBR Review

I sent out quite a few quote requests, and PBR stood out from the others straight away. Paul took lots of time during our initial call to understand our needs and to study the property. His design met our brief. We spoke a few times and he answered our questions and adjusted the plan as we went.
This contrasts with the other companies that sent me a design by email without trying to understand my needs or model alternatives.
Dillon came to visit the house, to plan the install.
The installation itself was excellent. The layout of the house is tricky, and there were some unexpected issues late in the day with our 3-phase wiring, but Ethan and his team worked until it was rectified.
I felt they were invested in a good outcome, and suspect that has a lot to do with the owners being hands-on. For example they took care to hide the wiring coming from the roof, and to make the battery and other components look presentable.
The other thing I like is their attention to safety. I felt that Dillon and Ethan looked after their team. As a customer I don't want costs to be cut by them taking undue risks.
I am reassured that they are available for any issues that might arise - leaving their direct contact details at the end of the job gives me confidence that they are happy with the outcome.

A pleasant installation experience

Paul came to give us a quote which started our solar learning process. Amongst the 4 quotes we received, and after some in-depth research (AI is great!), I found that all the details Paul provided were customised for our situation rather than just an off-the-shelf solution. They were spot on including direction of the panels, panel tilt, what panels to use, etc. Then Ethan came for an onsite inspection. Ethan and his team answered my specific questions regarding the single phase backup deficiency of the Powerwall 3. They obviously know their stuff and didn’t BS me. Despite PBR wasn’t the cheapest, nor they had a local showroom nearby, I found the decision to engage with them relatively easy.

It took 2 days to install. Ethan and his team were thoughtful, polite, and accommodative of our needs. I often think the word “professional’ was over-used, but i think they were very professional. I had a pleasant installation experience and will recommend my friends and neighbours to Ethan / Paul.

Very Professional, friendly and highly recommended

I have installed solar a number of time. PBR Solar and their team has to the best solar company that i have worked with in the last 10 years. Smooth process from start to finish , even hand holding me through the process at every step. Paul is a legend and so is Dillon who are really friendly and happy to help with any queries. I got my solar installed and could not fault their work as they buy and install the system themselves. Unlike most companies hiring contractors. Amazing installer and beautiful design !

PBR solar is ahead of time, great technology and products, Jinko and Synergy battery is very slim line and beautiful.
The quoting and sales process was at eased and comfortable. We trusted Paul’s quote immediately vs other Solar providers out there. He explained and provided options to what is best for our household and family, as well as our options on how to finance the loan.
Once we made the decision, the installer Team Dylan and Ethan were wonderful to deal with and installation process, no stress and they contact our service electrical providers and setting up the Apps on your phone. They do all the leg work for you.
They were courteous, polite and technically knowledgeable. We are confident our electrical $$$ will go down in no time and save $$$ to invest on holidays.

From quoting stage to install, we had a very pleasant experience. We mainly decided to go with PBR Solar after talking to many other solar companies, due to the fact that they had their own team of amazing installers.

Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable during the quoting stage and was able to answer all our questions and get us a system that fit perfectly with all our requirements.

Eathan and the team of installers did an amazing job with completing the installation. They were very efficient, respectful of our property and left the place tidy when they were done.

Extremely helpful

We were extremely pleased with the whole process. All our questions were received and answered promtly, thoroughly and professionally. The team were friendly, helpful, and especially careful with our very old roof tiles. They clearly explained and organised the set up of the grid connection and tracking app. The process was made far easier because of the attentiveness of all the team.

Amazing company!

PBR Solar was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Sales team spent almost 2 hours on call with me explaining the system and the cost without pressuring me to sign anything and respected my timeline. They maintained excellent communication from the quoting to end of installation.

Installer were extremely polite and respectful of the house. They tidied up everything and did not leave a single trash behind.

Initial call was so easy, followed by a lengthy FaceTime chat during which every aspect of our needs and concerns were addressed.
PBR took the time to review our energy accounts / usage to come up with alternative plans for discussion. Everything was discussed with no stones left unturned and there was no pressure to make a quick decision. They made themselves easily accessible for any queries we later had.
We were fully informed of the process and quotes for consideration

The installation guys were timely, highly organised, the pride in their work was quite evidentiary through the high level of teamwork from beginning to end.
Upon completion, we were shown everything, the inverter was explained and were connected up to ISolarICloud. Plus it was explained also. We were left with a guarantee that help was a phone call away IF needed at any time.

Reliable and professional. Would recommend

Installed pw3 last July 31st 2025. Team is good with communication and providing relevant informations.
Installation went smoothly and so far nil issues encounters after over a month. Yes I would recommend and later down the road would get them again to possibly add more solar panels for my pw3 system.
