Increase in Battery Capacity

Peak Energy Group did my initial solar + battery install about 18 months ago and I have nothing but praise for them. Little wonder then that when I decided in increase my battery capacity Justin and the team at Peak Energy were my first and only port of call.

I have about 8kW of panels (with no room for any more) and a 16kWh Sigenstore battery as my initial install. There were some winter days in 2025 when the 16kWh did not reach 100% charge and couldn't see me through the long winter nights without me resorting to buying from the grid.

I thought an additional 8kWh of battery storage would help me through the winter period and Peak energy Group installed it a few months ago. It's working 100% as expected and the install was quick and neatly done.

I highly recommend Peak Energy Group for solar and battery installation.

Amazing quick install

The team completed our 19.36kW system in 1 day and we have now added batteries. Gone from paying $350/month in electricity to now adding approx $300/month back into the grid with our great feed-in rate. The team knew exactly what size system we needed for our family and went through all upcoming changes to our home (e.g. pool) to make sure we had the correct size system from the start. Team were great and so polite even interacting with my 7 year old and answering all his questions.

High quality system, neat and tidy install

Thomas and the team were great to deal with, provided a good detailed quote with a few different options for me to consider. The installation was great and the team left the place neat and tidy afterwards. I haven’t bought grid power since the install, without having an oversized system. Highly recommend Peak Energy Group.

Expert installation: efficient, neat, and hassle-free

From the initial quote through to installation, the entire process was straightforward and professional. A representative visited my home to assess the site, provided a competitive quote, and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.

On installation day, the two-person team arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and neatly. They walked me through the system afterwards, making sure I understood how everything worked. They also tested the backup functionality before leaving; it worked correctly at the time of installation.

The company handled all the paperwork, including the grid connection and the required ESV inspection in Victoria, which made the whole process hassle-free.

Fantastic Installer

From our first conversation Peak Energy have been fantastic to work with. Their advice on the size of the system and installation positioning of the panels was thought through and well communicated. They are very punctual and we received plenty of notification of their arrival times. Installation was very tidy and they have been very informative with grid connections and system usage.

Simple easy process with full disclosure and great service

From first contact with Peak Solar the experience was excellent. The sales rep was timely in his appointments, informative, knew his companies offerings, products and market comparisons, followed up with all requests and any additional information required promptly.
The installation team were excellent, they involved you all the way, answered any questions, stepped you through the items and operation of the devices, connectivity and device management via the app. They cleaned up all the rubbish and left the whole are neat and tidy.
I would rate the team at Peak Energy Group one the the best customer experiences I have had in the building and service industry.

High quality work at a competative price by local experts

We are on slingle phase. Peak Energy Group installed 13.3kW panels, a 10kW inverter and a EV car charger. As seperate work, at a later date, they installed a 20kWh battery. They arrived on time for every appointment. They planned with me which equipment I needed and where it would be located (their recommendations made sense and subsequently have turned out to work well). They cleaned up all the work areas after they finished and completed all the necessary paperwork. At a later time I had some questions about changes we wanted to make to our electrical system. I rang and asked Thomas his opinion and he called in on his way home from work to look at our board and make recommendations. I hate having strangers in my house but you quickly feel relaxed with the fellows from Peak Energy Group as they are clearly good people who are keen to do the right thing.

A Fantastic company to do business with

We had a solar battery installed by Peak Energy at the start of October. Getting the quote was an easy process as well as professional. The staff were also very friendly. We were more than happy with the price for the purchase and installation of the unit. The battery was installed quickly, professionally and once again the installers were very friendly.
They were also very helpful when I had a couple of questions later.

Very professional job

Peak Energy installed a 20kW solar system together with a 40kW battery and DC charger for us. They were very professional, efficient and responsive throughout the process, from Thomas quoting on the system, to Bridgette managing admin and Justin's team doing the install. There was obvious pride in the quality of their product and workmanship which is not that common anymore. I would highly recommend them.

Exceptional service

The sale and quoting process was a breeze, the team at Peak provided several quotes and were more than happy to answer any questions we had.

If you want the best!

Initially had a 4kw system through a new build. Decided to upgrade to a 6.6kw system late in the contract. This was easily done and the price was within budget.
Install was a breeze and Peak Energy arranged the grid connection and the solar rebates.
Customer service was on point and no fuss.

Absolutely Fantastic

I found peak through solarquotes.com.au and I could not be happier. Thomas came to the house and explained everything about the systems they install, why they use the brands they use and answered all questions I put to him. Justin made the install seamless, communicating everything and offering changes that he recommended to cater specifically to our needs. Bridgette did all the admin side and communicated and responded very promptly and clearly. Overall, I can not recommend these guys enough. They all made the process so easy and were so polite and welcoming throughout the process 10/10

Would not hesitate to recommend Peak Energy based on my experience.

Wow! An amazing company!

Our experience with Peak Energy Group (Albury/Wodonga) has been nothing short of fantastic. Their response to our initial request was prompt and their system engineer came around to discuss our requirements and look at possible options. As there was already an old 3kW system on the roof we needed to have that removed as well. We were given a range of options including different brands to choose from with detailed information on system components, ROI, expected energy generation, clear breakdown of costs and so on. Very easy to follow and very thorough. Follow-up calls to clarify any matters were responded to rapidly and to our satisfaction.

On the installation date, the team arrived on time as scheduled, Fast and efficient, they removed the old system and had the new installation completed by 3.30pm. All the old panels and framing (other than some I said I'd keep for repurposing) were taken away, as was all the packaging from the new system. Our garage, where the system was installed, was left just as it was found. As we already had grid connection via our old system, the new one was up and running immediately after installation. We were shown how to use the Sigen app to monitor and customise our system to suit our purposes. Very happy, and the team were great.

The customer service after the installation has been flawless and responsive. We had an issue a few weeks after installation when our inverter lost its connection to the AusNet utility server, reducing our solar export from 5kW to 1kW per hour. It took few days to resolve as the issue lay with AusnEt not with our installation. Now, it is working perfectly.

We can highly recommend this company for the great service, efficient installation and the friendly and responsive team.

Very happy customer.

I have no hesitation in recommending Peak Energy. Every part of the process to install solar and batteries at my home was seamless.
I also didn’t have to deal with anyone else in relation to my energy supplier and applying for the government concessions. This was a big help.
I felt I could trust the team and they were very punctual, good natured and very helpful in explaining the whole process. I feel confident that if I had any concerns in the future I could contact them and they would help me. I was also pleasantly surprised that the final total cost was less than the quote…amazing!

Solar PV and battery installation: seamless!

Quote from all three was efficient and informative. PeakEnergy had best Quote but not a huge amount of difference. But they provided great education on Solar for us who knew not a lot before. Personal visit helped with this.
Great help on the admin side to support the rebates and battery loan. Good communication all through.
Install was amazing. Hard working efficient and very polite. Clean and tidy. Punctual. We elected not to pursue feed tariffs for the 1kW.

Brilliant Service and System

We spent months asking many questions of the Peak Energy team and they were fantastic in designing the solar system that was best for us.
We feel we have done the right thing environmentally and the system will pay for itself in electricity bill savings in less than 4 years.
It takes a bit to understand the system but Peak Energy took the time to ensure we were comfortable with how it all works.

17.5kw Solar system with 2 x 19.2kw Sungrow batteries

I have never left a review for anything, but for the service and professional attention I received from Thomas, Justin and the team, I just have to make an exception. I understand electronics and particularly DC systems. I approached a couple of other companies but was not impressed by their sales pitches, which was simply to sell me a solar system. When I drilled deeper into the technology I lost them, as they wanted to sell me their recommended system, not what I wanted. Peak Energy Group are a team of true professionals, willing to listen and to develop a solar solution that I wanted. They even convinced me to change the system I initially wanted, by showing me the technical benefits of what they proposed, versus what I had proposed. What sets them aside is their friendly “neighbourly” attitude, and a desire to go out of their way to ensure you achieve what you want, and at a fair price. I highly recommend PEAK ENERGY GROUP, and if you are serious about solar, make sure you give them a call. You will not be disappointed!

I have used Peak Energy previously for both a heat pump hot water system and solar panels so when i decided to install solar batteries i contacted them for a quote along with a couple of others.
I received Justin's quote in the evening on the day i contacted him, when compared with the other quotes the batteries were a better brand and the price was considerably less.
The installation was completed in the week leading up to xmas on the chosen day and as the previous installations, professional, neat, tidy and working.
Justin has since contacted me re satisfaction of the system and any queries i have.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Peak Energy to anyone who is looking to get a solar panels or batteries installed.

Great Installation - Solar + Battery

It's a pleasure to support Justin and the team at Peak Energy Group with this review.

From the outset, with my initial contact with Thomas, to a follow up on site with Justin to the installation carried out by Justin and Jayden in one day, they have been professional and courteous. The installation is extremely neat and tidy with my Sigenergy hardware proudly on display in the garage with all wiring being hidden behind the wall.

Pre installation paperwork and approvals were more than ably handled by Bridgette who made it all look simple!

What a great team and I couldn't be happier seeing my Sigenergy battery providing all the power I need in the evenings. It is performing just as they said it would.
