Highly Recommend Raw Power and Lighting
Highly Recommend Raw Power and LightingWe had an excellent experience with Raw Power and Lighting. I first contacted Ryan in November, and he guided us through the planning process over December 2025 and January, providing one of the most affordable and transparent quotes.
Our solar and battery system was installed on 4th March, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Just a day before installation, Ryan informed us about a battery upgrade option and gave us all the information needed to make our own decision. We chose to upgrade and are very happy we did.
A big thank you to Ryan, Nick, Layton, Tyron, and Louise ( Office admin ) for their outstanding teamwork. They started early at 6 AM and completed the installation before 5 PM with very neat and professional work. They also took the time to explain everything clearly.
We are extremely satisfied with the service, if anyone is looking for a reliable, professional, and trustworthy solar provider, I would highly recommend them. They truly are a one-stop team for solar and battery installation.
Thank you again to the entire Raw Power and Lighting team for such an excellent experience.

Everyone Happy!
Sales - 1st Quote of the 3 quotes to come back and this was over the Xmas / New Year period within 2 days of solar quotes. Sales was very customer focused and very understanding for the number of questions I asked. They were happy to answer question multiple times and happy to requote when I changed the requirement. Communication to us was great. Even contacted after sales process complete and also happy to answer questions after installation complete.Installation - I cannot say enough about the team of 3. Owner, Lead Electrician and top notch 4th year apprentice. They were on time (actually early) worked hard all day and got the job done. 24 panels and inverter. They took away the old panels and inverter and left the place very tidy. I had my roofers come out after they had completed and the roofer said best work they had seen from solar panel installers. Normally they have to fix a lot but was perfect. I had roofers out 6 months ago so would know if there was any issues.
Customer Service was great they answered all questions and did all the grid connections. They were so helpful and good we got them to quote electrical work which they did the following week which was again quality work.

Responsive, courteous, professional
Ryan was a pleasure to speak with and to work towards a solar installation. He was courteous and patient with questions, and prompt to reply, with a clear focus on client happiness. Unfortunately at the 11th hour we were unexpectedly unable to move forward with the installation due to discovering a completely separate roofing issue that needs to be addressed first. During a stressful time, Ryan was the epitome of kindness and professionalism, and we plan to contact Raw Power and Lighting in future when we are able to move forward with solar installation.04 February 2026

Awesome people to deal with!
After requesting a quote, through Solarquotes, Raw Power and Lighting were the first to get back to me and followed up with a very friendly phone call to assist me with any questions I may have.Nic explained everything after the installation, and it was followed up with all the required documentation. They really made it as simple as I hoped it would be. They were great to deal with and did a cracker job of the installation.
I would highly recommend Nic and his team for solar installations and anything electrical as they are very knowledgeable and do excellent work.

Professional and courteous
Nic and his team were punctual, professional and courteous.The whole process was seamless. Nic explained how the system worked, what the next steps were and helped me set up the app on my phone so I could monitor the solar equipment and what it was generating.
Nic explained the whole process throughout the time he was here. His crew worked hard the whole time they were at the property on a very very hot day.
Would not hesitate to recommend Raw Power and Lighting to anyone seeking to install a solar system

Fantastic Result!
RAW Power and Lighting were very efficient and called me immediately to provide a quote. Whilst I was not looking for the cheapest system they ended up providing me with a top quality set up at a very affordable price. They were very helpful from the start and the whole thing was finished within three weeks. Very courteous guys doing the install and everything was left tidy at the end. Very good communication, efficient, reliable and friendly
Ryan was great with communication and information needed for us to decide on the right system. Installation went smoothly. Guys cleaned up well. Nic organised everything for us - so very stress free! Outstanding Installer
RAW Power and Lighting did an outstanding job installing my solar system. The workmanship was top quality, with every detail finished to a really high standard. What impressed me just as much was their flexibility — not only did they take care of the solar installation, but they were also happy to tackle a few other jobs around the house at the same time, which made the whole process so much easier for me.The team was professional, reliable, and great to deal with from start to finish. You get what you pay for
Initial sales service and helping me work out what I wanted was excellent - I got exactly what I wanted from that process with a lot of advice and support along the way for a very competitive price. Very knowledgableInstallation was... not great.
* I had serious amounts of concrete dust/debris left inside the house, ceiling cavity and outside from installing the brackets on my concrete tile roof. Only partially remedied when they vacuumed out the easily accessible third of my roof space - but then left the rest.
* I have some split rafters from them not pre-drilling before driving pretty large screws into them for the brackets.
* I had a couple of cracked tiles discovered underneath some of the solar panels (on a freshly restored roof) that neither the solar installer or roofer was willing to take responsibility for. But the installer did want to charge me for a full day's work to come and remove/replace 2 panels so I could get those tiles replaced. They are on the Gold Coast, I am in Toowoomba. No allowances made for their potential culpability until I fought it.
I gave up and some items remain un-raised and unaddressed. It was exhausting having to fight them on everything to get anything fixed. Very poor customer service in that regard.
Electrically I have no idea. I am unqualified and could not tell you if what I got is up to scratch. To a layman, it looks good.
Grid connection and setup for monitoring was excellent. I didn't have to do a thing there.
All in all - I really hope that my system stands the test of time and just keeps working for me so that I don't have to deal with the installer again.

Thank you for your feedback.Concrete dust/debris left inside the house, ceiling cavity and outside - Unfortunately, you left our team with no access to your property to clean this up. This was rectified on the next visit when access was given. You gave verbal acceptance of this completion.
Only partially remedied when they vacuumed out the easily accessible third of my roof space – Our team spent at least half a day up there, yourself even checking and approving before they left. Photographic evidence of this has been taken and provided to yourself.
Please note you were more than happy to accept separate ‘free electrical work’ as a good will gesture for the dust situation.
Split rafters – This has not been brought to our attention until now. When asked if you had any other areas of concern, you explained you ‘had a really good look and did not see anything else of note’. Unfortunately, due to the age of some properties this can occur.
Cracked Tiles – We have video and photographic evidence this was not due to the work we carried out. You had multiple trades working on your property throughout our interactions.
We even carried out & supplied you with a full report to pass onto your roofer. Regardless, yes, an invoice for the labour of this was supplied. Nevertheless, this was meant to be passed onto the person responsible for the roofing. You did not want to forward this invoice on, so to make this easier for yourself due to ‘having 2 different insurance claims for the house on the go’, we discounted this invoice more than 50%. You happily paid and ‘could not tell us how much you appreciated that offer’.
There was never any ‘fight’ on behalf of ourselves to help resolve any concerns raised throughout the process. Our team even made you aware of multiple areas of concern around your property that needed attention ie severe mould within the dining room wall.
All communications, verbally, in person & via email have been positive & professional from our stand point.
We have assisted you with any concerns as soon as we possibly could & have faith that your solar journey will be a smooth one yet.

Hard working installers. Had everything squared away within a few days of me signing the agreement.
Raw’s customer rep, Ryan was amazing at keeping me informed and taking me through all the options, despite me having a million questions. I never felt pressured to sign on with them like other companies, and as they have a small team I knew who was going to be responsible for the install. When talking with others about when they had solar installed they’d often say that they had no after installation follow up. But Raw took time to call me back on a Saturday morning to see how things were going and give me an update.EV Charger rating: 5/5

Quick and Easy
Ryan was a font of knowledge and the conversation was easy to follow, very informative, and I felt no pressure.I was very pleased with the quote. I had gathered four quotes in all and Raw Power and Lighting was the 2nd cheapest, but I felt most comfortable going with them.
Nic and his team arrived at the agreed time and were professional and tidy. The hybrid inverter set-up is neat and tidy. Nic showed me how to use the app (very easy) to view how much power was being generated by the panels/ how much power was being used by the household/ how much power was going back to the grid etc.
Everything with the energy supplier was organised for me by Raw. I don't think the whole process could have been any easier.
