The Best Team for Serious Home Energy Upgrades
We recently had Smarter Home Solutions install a 32.24 kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery and backup solution at our house, and I cannot recommend them enough. Customer service was top-notch across the board, from the initial quotation and billing all the way through to post-installation support.The sales and quoting process was incredibly prompt and easy. I asked for a number of alterations along the way, and they were all quickly applied without any hassle. The installation itself went really well. The crew was right on time, polite, and made sure to clean up completely before they left. I was especially impressed that they went the extra mile to hide as many cables as possible—they managed to do the whole job with no additional external conduits run, which looks incredibly neat. A massive thank you to the team for a seamless experience.

Went the extra mile
Very easy sales process though I knew what I wanted. I chose Smarter Home Solutions because of reviews and clearly they know what they're doing.Mitch the installer did a sensational job. I was expecting a fair amount of conduit going here and there after reading SigEnergy reviews and looking at photos on here of other installs. Mitch took his time and was here quote late drilling and making it neat. He could have taken the easy option and I wouldn't have said boo. He just wanted to do the best job he could.
They told me about Globird as the retailer which I was sceptical about but I moved across and I'm in credit every day with my bills. Winning!

Solar installation
The staff for quoting and sales were very nice and polite and very helpful. The installers were very polite tidy and punctual lovely guys and the help afterwards was fabulous. The customer service helping me connect to the grid and operating and understanding how to manage the app was terrific. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.Inverter rating: 5/5

Great service, great value, and great installation!
I recently engaged Smarter Home Solutions to install a Sigenstor 24Kwh battery for my existing solar system. The whole process was exceptional, including the initial discussions, quoting, installation process and follow up discussions. The workmanship is excellent, and the work was great value! I would not hesitate to recommend Smarter Home Solutions
I would not hesitate recommending Smart Home Solutions as my selection for our home battery selection and installation.The sales and quoting process was open, honest and factual. SHS provided lots of information and guidance and advice about the best solution for my home.
The installers were polite, friendly and helpful. They were punctual and cleaned up after their work. The installation was tidy and NEAT.
They completely rewired the old switchboard into a better layout and configuration.

Installation goes above and beyond

Install happened far quicker than expected, no grid export still though
Was contacted promptly and given good information over the phone. After mulling it over and doing some research committed and got the panels installed. Cost me $4k out of pocket with the remaining 1.4k as a solarvic loan.Attendance was prompt, took the team a bit longer than they anticipated to get it all done but they were friendly and professional.
Only issue so far is I'm still not able to export to the grid but that's due to the energy retailer and other parties not pulling through yet

My review of installation by Smarter Home Solutions
There were several delays, where the original inverter was found to be faulty, and had to be replaced. A couple of times, I got a late notice that they could not be here on the day they had indicated a technician would arrive. Apart from the delays and the inverter replacement, the physical installation of both the panels and the battery was fine; they were careful of the tiles, and replaced several that had cracked, and they tidied up after their work. The inspection has occurred, and the system is working.17 October 2025
Reclaim heat pump install
Bought a Reclaim system. The guys know the products well. The installer came the same day because we had no hot water. Professional installation and took away the old hot water system and rubbish. A1 experience no complaints.
Solar Pros
Had Smarter Home Solutions install our solar and battery system on 15/4/26 — 14 panels, a 10kW inverter, and a 48kWh battery — and couldn't be happier with the job.The install was tidy and professional from start to finish. The team took care when drilling through our double brick, cleaning up all the dust as they went, and they even cleaned out our switchboard while they were at it. They also did a full switchboard upgrade using Hager RCBOs.
On the day, the installer walked me through the full system setup so I knew how everything worked before they left. They'd also organised the electrical inspector to attend, who turned up right on time and was easy to deal with.
The system has been performing really well since it went in. No complaints at all — would recommend them to anyone looking at solar and battery.
