Fantastic group of people excellent knowledge of what they were required to do and very polite
Quoting process was goodAll people were polite, tidy and punctual
Have not got grid connection yet as our electricity supplier has to be informed that we have solar fitted. It can take up to fifteen days for electricity supplier to come out and fit a smart meter before we can send power to the grid.
10 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Really disappointing experience with Solahart and at this point we cannot recommend them to anyone.
We first enquired in February 2026 about getting solar installed at our house. We received a quote, were happy with it and paid the deposit.Install day comes around… no one shows up. No call, no update, nothing. We chase it up, get an excuse and the install is pushed back. Fine, things happen.
Second install date comes around… same thing. No one shows up and again, no communication. We had to chase them to find out what was going on.
By the third attempt (this is now over a period of months), we're then told there are issues with our roof and electrical supply that mean the install can't go ahead and we will need thousands of dollars of additional work completed. Obviously frustrating considering you would think some of this would have been picked up when the system was originally quoted, but again, fine. We just wanted to get it sorted and move forward.
We have since had our roof replaced and have been trying to organise the required electrical work. We were told Solahart had a Level 2 electrician who could complete it and that they would send us a quote. The last update we received was basically "we haven't forgotten about you, we're still waiting on the quote."
That was a month ago. Once again, crickets.
We have had to constantly call, email and follow up throughout this entire process just to find out what is happening. We shouldn't have to spend our time chasing a company to progress a job that we have already accepted and PAID A DEPOSIT FOR.
We're first home buyers forking out over $20,000 on a solar setup and associated work and it feels like once the job was booked, nobody cared about actually following it through.
I'm honestly hoping leaving this review might finally get SOMEONE to contact us and take ownership of the job.
They seem very interested in booking the work, but our experience after that has been terrible. At this point I would recommend literally anyone else based purely on the communication and follow-through we've experienced with Solahart.

Quoting process was excellent every question and concern was answered..installation was a month early the guys were punctual respectful and tidy...overall customer service was exceptional23 August 2026

All went well. Customer service was pro-active in bringing an original October schedule to August.On the day the installers were courteous, helpful and efficient.

Good Price. Professional Installation.
The quotation process was seamless and efficient. Price good.Work required was a little complex, requiring removal of 2kW of old panels, assimilation of further 3kW of newer existing panels and installation of additional 5kW of new panels, as well as removal of two existing inverters and replacement with 16kWh battery / 10kW inverter module.
The Solahart install team were punctual, friendly and professional. We felt that our house was in good hands. The team leader “Skip” was excellent. All complete in one day.
The work was neat and tidy. One unfortunate but unavoidable outcome were the holes left in our RockCote sandcote render wall from the old inverter installations. A consideration for others.

Tidy install but a bit of an average experience
Was quoted 10kw panel system split between the northern roof (flat/2-3 degrees angled south so tilt racks included in quote) and the eastern roof (terracotta tiles, 22 degrees). Was also told the battery could go round the side of the house, between a retaining wall and the side of the house.Installer rocks up, initial battery location clearly not compliant (not 1m clear space in front of unit, which I wasn't aware was a requirement) so unsure why the salesperson didn't know this. Ended up changing location to under the house, so not a terrible outcome.
Installer also says the tiles aren't suitable to have panels on, so only option is to have all 22 panels on the northern roof. Which means tilt racks will no longer work because panel spacing has to be closer - which also means now the panels are south-facing, rather than north-facing. I'd agreed to the change after confirming with the installer that performance of the system would be at least equal to what I was quoted (not realising south-facing panels are ~30% less effective, which I only found out after the fact).
Overall, has felt like the salesperson said whatever they needed to say to get the sale, and then the installer can change whatever they need regardless of what was quoted. Completely understand that sometimes variations are required, however in this case both variations (the battery location and panel orientation) could probably have been spotted by the salesperson.
Provided feedback on this experience to the company on 20/4/26 and was told someone would be in touch. Haven't heard back which is a pretty poor experience on a ~$20k purchase.
Tidy install and no issues so far (except real-world performance vs what I was quoted), but pretty average experience and follow-up from Solahart.

Once again great service!
This is the third time Solarhart have been to our house. We had panels installed years ago and then panels replaced after a hail storm. This time we got a battery and like always they were wonderful.They're always polite and do a great job and explain everything to us. Wouldn't use anyone else.

Sales and quoting tailored to your exact needs and realistic . Install was in one day and gained 75% charge after. no mess left behind and great with family and dog at homeTeam leader Jake Harris explained whole system and how to use , set up the app and informed of the smart meter .
Batteries slim fit and modern panels provide Ample energy.
Highly recommend and will use again for home and business
