Battery and Gateway install
I had a Sigenergy battery and gateway installed by Winki Energy.Starting off the quoting process with Jack was easy and straight forward. I changed my mind multiple times and frequently asked for more information or details. Jack was always friendly and helpful.
The system and costing was very clear and detailed.
Install team were professional and knowledgeable. Tom explained everything throughout the process. They had to deal with some issues from my original solar install which made the job a bit more of a pain. This was handled without complaint and they put in extra effort to deliver a better install when all finished.
I highly recommend Winki Energy and they will be my first call if I ever need solar or batteries again in the future.

Great communication, very professional!

Helpful and price competitive installer
Very helpful installer- came and inspected and clearly outlined the system size choices. Accommodated my difficult battery position and assisted me with future proofing for when we need an EV charger.Communication was great all the way through the process. Very neat install and system functions perfectly.
After-sales service was great with the inverter recall issue.
I will definitely return to Winki when we want to expand and also install our car charger.

A Well Deserved 5 Star Review for Winki Energy
A seamless installation process. The Admin Team did their job well, with regular emails and updates. We were lucky to have our installation date moved forward.In particular:
• The professionalism of the installation team. Both days, the team arrived at the specified time.
• We were kept informed of their progress and we were encouraged to ask questions.
• The team were dressed in their uniforms and were well presented. They wore their PPE as required.
• Every single piece of rubbish/debris was cleaned up and removed.
• Lastly, it was obvious that the team knew what they were doing and are used to working together. There were no angry tones, or sharp retorts, just efficient communication that gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing.
Currently waiting on the Inspector to give the go ahead to go live.

Winki gets the nod.
WinkiSolutions upgraded my 5.3kW north facing Canadian Solar array by adding Aiko panels with another 5.7kW facing north and 4.275kW facing west. All are now connected to a SignStor 10kW inverter and 24KWh battery.The quoting process was good from all three companies, but one ruled themselves out by not offering SigEnergy products. The other was slightly dearer but the documentation in the contract was poor.
The main north facing roof now looks busy with the pool solar matting, the hot water solar panel, Canadian Solar and Aiko panels, but none of that is visible from the street, which looks clean and tidy.
Winki's installers were great, always polite, on time and accommodating of my requirements. Also going above and beyond, as the electrical inspector quoted.
The system was demonstrated operating when the mains failure was simulated. The change-over to battery back-up was so quick that both my computer back-up hard disk drive, and the ducted heating and air-conditioning controller, remained online. You've gotta be happy with that.

Extremely friendly team and very organised with installation
The team of 5 installed the 10.9kW solar system with a 32kWh battery from Sigenergy, and they were on time, professional, and friendly.There had been a minor paperwork issue; however, they took initiative and rectified it on the spot, and I was very impressed!
I referred one of my friends to go with them, who did the installation this week, and I heard the same, despite the different team from different areas in Melbourne.
I would highly recommend Winky to anyone who wants a professional and patient installer who knows what they are doing.
Now the next step is to wait for the final inspection before the system can be switched on.
I am more than happy to post a follow-up comment 6~12 months down the line.

Highly recommended
From the beginning with David coming to our home sitting down with us and listening to our questions, analysing our current power bill and then sending through quotes, we knew we were in good hands. There was never any upselling. Just honest recommendations.Whole process was quick and easy which surprised us the most. Should have done it sooner is our only regret. Great job Winki!

Solar installation
Winki solar were recommended by Geelong sustainability and their response during the design and equipment option evaluation was quick and responsive. They were quick to proceed to purchase and installation and both the roofers and Sparkies were very professional and did a great job. Following installation their support team continued their really excellent service.
