Fantastic system, quality install. Awesome job team. Right from the initial inquiry right through to installation. Local company that's been around for a fair while and cares about you, not just your money. Too many horror stories of cheap system installs with no after sales service. Might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for.Panel rating: 5/5

Great work, Excellent Communication
Very professional, excellent communication back and forth, answered every question I could throw at them. All their answers were straightforward, and if it was something that needed further looking into they would say so and get back to me once they were happy. I was back and forth with them since the beginning of the year on what options were available and once the rebates were actually available in July proceeded with getting final quotes. River, Greg, and Sharon were all great and shout-outs to River in particular since he just started. Final Proposals signed about mid august, with solar and inverter installed beginning of September, battery a couple weeks later once it arrived.Neil and rest of his installation crew were on time on the day, talked through all that had to be done, and walked through all the possible install locations for the inverter and batteries. We ended up putting it in the garage to keep it all out of the sun. Since the inverter was a hybrid system with batteries, I was asked what circuits to put on that backup side - thankfully for me the house was already wired mostly correctly already to have one power circuit for essentials and all light circuits put on backup so that's what was chosen. Once everything was decided they got to work putting up the solar panels, plumber on the heat pump hot water, and getting the inverter installed and running the required cable runs from the meter box to the garage for the inverter feed-in. Everything was cleaned up afterwards, roof sealed, DC cabling in the roof all conduited and labeled, inverter and meter box labelled, and walk through on shutdown procedure with written copy stuck nearby. They ran all their tests and all was well. Came back a bit over a week later and got the battery installed to complete the commissioning.
Since then the system has been amazing, more than enough solar generation to meet my needs and the battery is also more than enough to get me through normal night time usage - haven't actually drawn a watt from Western Power!
All the grid connection work and documentation was done by Albany Solar for Western Power, the only requirements for me were the sign offs with them.

My first contact was with River and he was so very helpful regarding the whole process of the solar panel installation (including the government rebates and how to work out what we would require for our needs), After providing the information they needed, it was a simple process to get a quote with an exact breakdown of what we were going to be supplied with and the pricing. It made it easy for us to work out how we were going to finance our installation, and the fact that River and the team were going to help take care of all the applications for the government rebates was a bonus!When it came time to organise the installation, Sharon and the team could not have been more accomoodating! They answered all our questions and came to check out the space we had allocated for the installation and nothing was too much trouble. Even when we wanted to change our installation date it wasn't a problem at all. Installation day was a breeze! The crew were on time, professional, tidy and had the job done in no time. They showed us what we needed to know, right down to installing the app so we can monitor what's going on with the supply and see our free power any time we want to. It is comforting to know that Sharon and the crew are just a phone call away if there are any queries or issues we need to deal with. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering installing solar panels. We will be contacting them again soon to enquire about converting from gas to a heat pump, due to the sterling service we received.
