5 stars. We recently had Geelong Solar install a solar and battery system at our home and couldn't be happier. The installation team were friendly, professional, and great to deal with. The Sigenergy system has been excellent and is very easy to use. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t be happier.
Because of a referral from a friend I had already decided that I wanted to go with Geelong Solar and a Sigenergy system. The whole process from the first phone call to the final inspection was simple and seamless. The mySigen app is amazing. The Geelong Solar team were helpful and professional and have said if I have any questions in the future to call them. A delight to do business with.Battery rating: 5/5

Got there…eventually!
We were initially quoted a timeline of around 5 months, but the government's change to the rebate pushed us down the queue - not really the installers fault, but between that and some unfortunate weather, it did take a long time to get the installation done.The rest of it was fine, the work has been done very professionally, the Sigenergy components are all behaving and playing nicely with our existing system. It's the depths of winter and our daily cost has already dropped 75% - when we actually get some sunshine, we'll be laughing :-)

Reliable, Knowledgeable, Quality Install
Sales and quoting staff were very knowledgeable, and tuned in immediately to the challenges of our particular install.Recommended system and implementation over two phases was appropriately spec-ed.
Installation team very efficient, and tidy. No mess left behind, and all conduit and cable routing on-point.
Minor troubleshooting after install was handled well, and Steve was highly contactable and keen to help.
Very good experience, and have recommended to others.

Great quote process
System is not yet installed, but the sales/quote process has been great - they actually listened to what I was after and didn’t treat me like an idiot (unlike one of the quotes I got, I got the feeling that that salesperson didn’t like that I had some idea about what I wanted and wasn’t totally uninformed). They are also local to me, which was very important for me and do the installation themselves rather than relying on subcontractors.07 December 2025

Fantastic Customer Service and Installation
Professional Installation and Customer ServiceI recently had additional solar panels and a battery installed at my home as this is the second time I have engaged their service, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. The tradesmen and Electrician were extremely professional, punctual, and polite throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood how to use the system and the app. The installation was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and care taken to leave everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend their services from the initial Sales consultation all the way through to installation to anyone considering solar and a battery, they made the whole experience stress free and delivered excellent results. I also had a problem with Powercor with my solar Inverter been offline which was sorted by Bronte within 2 days of me reporting the issue.
Excellent istallation after a long wait
The additional solar panels on our new shed and new battery were installed without any problems. The remote monitoring of the system to ensure it was working correctly was appreciated and a small issue with the inverter settings was corrected promptly. As a previous customer the quoting process went very smoothly, but there was a long delay (6 months) before installation and an ongoing reluctance to commit to a date.
