Smooth process quote to commissioning
Smooth sales process discussed location options/concerns, install was quick, professional & polite with minimal outage time and minimal debris left from works. Walked through initial setup and layout of system. Assisted with app setup and organised grid connection. All cables were hidden in wall cavity’s.Returned to fix an issue with switchboard, was sorted out the next day after raised.

Awesome end to end service
Kristi-Lee at Platinum Solar Designs is amazing to deal with. We did a video call (view roof profile, preferred battery location, switchboard and meter etc) so that she could provide a quote with 4 variations for us to later discuss and select. The team of 6 arrived to tackle the 30 panel installation as it was above 35 deg c and then 4 stayed back for wiring, battery, inverter and gateway install. Very friendly and polite team of lads.Very happy with the end to end process. The system is pumping out electricity and we’ve been grid free since install day. Only regret is not getting the 4th battery with generous government rebates.
I highly recommend this team.

Excellent collaborative installation and customer service
I settled on Platinum Solar Designs for my solar installation for a variety of reasons and was not disappointed at any point throughout the process.I have a small-ish house with the roof facing multiple directions, which was always going to be problematic with fitting a suitable system. Platinum Solar provided a solution that maximised my North and West roof spaces, using 440w panels and adding in a user-programable timer on the hot water line to maximise my peak daylight times. I settled on a 4.4kW system, which will adequately meet our fairly spartan electricity needs and was comfortable with a hot water timer over other more expensive options.
Once I accepted the quote, the admin team kept me constantly updated as things progressed and were always responsive to answer my many questions.
On the installation day - the team were on time for the start and explained how the installation day would go. I found all team members very friendly, polite and I was given a full explanation once the system become active on what was done and how it all worked - including a run down on how the monitoring app works.
Platinum Solar organised all components of the grid connection and the only thing I will need to organise is locking in my feed plan once my meter becomes ‘active’ on the grid (this was explained to me how this would work).
Overall - I am extremely happy with a very stress free installation, where everything was explained, all options were discussed and no issues were encountered.
Would definitely recommend Platinum Solar to anyone else

Very neat and tidy Solar Installation
Both solar places referred to by Finn were fantastic to deal with and we could have gone with either. We decided on Platinum Solar because of the product they were using. Platinum turned out to be really great with price, customer service, excellent communication at all times and the finished product is so neat and tidy. Their follow up communication and service has been outstanding. The removal of old systems on the roof and installation of the new product has made our house look much neater. They even fit the battery neatly aounr the mess in the garage.

Excellent installation and awesome follow up.
Scott and his team turned up at exactly 7 am as they said they would introduce themselves and got to work straight away. By 4 o’clock that afternoon 21 panels had been fitted completely installed with the inverter and the site as tidy as when they arrived, I couldn’t have asked for more Stop regarding questions and follow-up. Simple and efficient install
The team at Platinum Solar Designs did a great job on our install. From the initial visit to installation they were super efficient, easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. Price was also competitive and offered great value for money. They also included an energy monitor which is very useful for monitoring our energy use across the day.Panel rating: 5/5

Smooth and efficient process
From organising a site visit to the actual installation, all aspects were handled smoothly and efficiently. Staff were very responsive to queries and able to assist in a timely fashion.
Platinum by name, Platinum by product and service
From start to finish, the process with Platinum Solar Designs was fault less. Even though the quoting and acceptance process was over the Christmas (2025) break, their responses to my question we detailed and handled promptly (which I was not expecting as it was their shut down period). Other providers we were working with on quotes - not so much. Once we got back to normal, the process seemed to go quicker than expected. Before finalising they even adjust the pricing following a battery bonus from Sigenergy. Others I had quotes from would not pass on the full bonus amount.Come installation time, they gave plenty of notice. On the day it was quick and efficient and all up and running shortly after lunch. The walk through was clear and concise. Been running about a month now and all seems seamless. Slowest part of the process has been with Energy Australia!. The app for the system is easy to follow and understand.
Kristi-Lee lead the sales process and Scott was on site on installation day to lead the installation team. I am mor than happy to recommend their first class service.
