Service Visit to our 4 year old 6.6kW Solar Power System.
After the severe storm that hit the Gold Coast on Christmas day evening, we lost a few roof tiles and were concerned the Solar Panels may have been damaged thus affecting the operation of our 4 year old System. After contacting Solar Air Energy they promptly sent 2 Technicians and after a thorough examination and cleaning of the Panels and updating of the Inverter software, they pronounced the system was in perfect working order.What is even more amazing is that this work took several hours and was carried out at no charge to us!

Solar system inclusion battery back up.
Nathan Bill, arrived exactly on time in his working gear to quote a price and information/advice, impressed me that there was no sales pitch or over promising during the quoting dance.I have over time researched solar electricity/hot water and have never really been impressed. I decided to look at the solar electricity side from an econometrics point of view.
I may add I have a iStore hot water system fitted now that comes on at 1300h and runs for approximately 45minutes.
I rarely respond to surveys etc, but the team SAE has a professional outfit. This is how this all happened, I was referred to SAE by a friend, he had a complete system/battery installed by SAE and I was impressed by his install.
I originally had two roof solar hot water services fitted to the roof over time, should have learnt the first time to not do this but at the time there was not a lot of options. The ongoing costs to service them is not a good feeling to the wallet!
SAE were here at 0700h and installed a 8.8kw complete system, along with removal of existing solar hot waster service on the roof, gone by 1300h's.
As per the normal instructions from government advice, I Googled and engaged two other quotes, not even close to SAE's.
The tradies he has are in my option about as good as you can get, really impressed with their instal. The App was set up and explained to us how it worked and what to expect, rained for a week after installation but still had a good k/w input.
Three weeks later a Sungrow 9.6kw battery was added, again a professional fit and 3k under the nearest quote!
The instal was on the 7th February, now 12th April. The complete system is working above my expectations and I am very pleased that I had this fitted and current results.
To date I am in credit with Origin. The average daily yield has been 37.5kw, consumption approximately 15.6kw/day. The Sungrow battery is usually 100% by 1000h.
Our intention is to insulate ourselves from the growing electricity costs by adding to battery back up shortly.

The install team worked hard and left a neat job, the electrical work is fantastic, and I needed new meters, switchboard work and new switchboard at front of the property (all quotes I got noted this requirement) and our home is much safer after the electrical work they did. Replacement solar system
My replacement solar system was an insurance job and right from the start everything went smoothly. Four employees, Mark ,Tom, Myles and Josh arrived on time with all equipment needed. The installation was done competently, it was fully explained to me by the boys. Photos were taken. All the old gear was removed and left out place spotless.An app was installed on my iPhone and Tom explained how to use it.

Fantastic installer, great price & all round happy customer
Quoting process was so easy. Nathan provided all our options and also gave personal opinions which wasn’t a pushy sales pitch. All the team at Solar air energy are great, not just tidy but fabulous tradesmen. A year after our install, I noticed we were getting bills from our energy provider. After a quick phone call to Nathan to discuss, it was discovered there had been an issue with Energex for a year which was causing system issues. Already saving money
When Jack, Myles, Corey and Nathan arrived to install our solar system they could not have been more orgamised, professional and friendly. We had received multiple quotes from other companies but they were soon forgotten when we received a quote from Nathan at Solar Air Energy, Nathan soon made us feel comfortable and confident that we had made the right decision. Impressive service, before, during and after installation
It has been a little over 12 months since the installation of solar to our home 32 Longhi panels and Sungrow inverters (battery ready).The service we have received to date is nothing short of exemplary. Nathan’s consultation (at our home) and quotation process was informative and thorough. We had 3 factors which needed to be met (a) Cost (b) product quality/reliability (c) a company which had their own crew for install and we could easily maintain contact with company post installation. Tick, tick, tick.
We were very impressed with the crew who did the installation. Team work at its best, they worked like Trojans, were friendly, polite and meticulously cleaned up before leaving.
They installed and setup the app on our phones, arranged for Energex sign off and gave us tips for what to consider when choosing a supplier eg tariffs and Feed In rate conditions ie some suppliers have a higher FI cents/kw but are capped vs lower FI cents/kw unlimited.
Love how we can monitor the performance of the solar and can 100% say getting solar has been a good decision.
Unbeknown to us, last week, we didn’t notice our wifi connection to the inverters had dropped out which prevented the solar app from monitoring. However, gratefully we received an email from Solar Air Energy which alerted us there was an issue, what to do and we were back online in no time. Thank you Solar Air Energy.
Communication from all levels has been fantastic, from sales and admin, to install and after sales.
We were super delighted to learn Solar Air Energy not only do Solar but also air conditioning and any thing electrical (which we have now used to perform other in home electrical needs and to service our ducted AC ).
I have no hesitation in singing their praises and frequently recommend Solar Air Energy to my own clients and friends who are interested in getting solar for their home.

Very happy with our System!
We had our system installed back in 2022 and since having it installed we have not had a power bill. We are currently in credit of $900! The monitoring is great to be able to make sure our usage is under what our system is producing. Very happy with the system and the installation was seamless, the boys cleaned up after themselves and ran through the app on my phone to make sure I understood everything. They have contacted me twice when my wifi dropped out to get the system back online! The after sales customer support is amazing! Great installation
The sales process was very smooth and everything was explained to our satisfaction. When the installation was done everything went to plan and the installers arrived at the appointed time and cleaned up after the job was completed. Great company very knowledgeable
Great customer service and very knowledgeable on the process and products they have available. Installers were friendly and efficient however my husband had to spend the next day cleaning up after them as we did find a lot of screws and leftover bits metal etc left laying around and we have small child. We got our solar installed about 6 months ago now and I hadn't left a review as I wanted to see how the system performed. I am extremely happy with the performance of the system we are no longer getting bills at all and are in credit! The monitoring on the App is great we had a bit of trouble when we changed over internet providers and the Solar Air Energy team came back out and got our monitoring back online for us! Great after sales service!

Great installer - honest, helpful and friendly
Excellent installer. Took the time to find a solution to fit a good amount of panels on our awkwardly sized roof and also to actually take measurement to make sure they will fit. Communication was excellent throughout. Also came at very short notice to get the feet installed to work in with our roofer.A team of friendly and polite workers that have pride in their work and happy to take the time to explain things as necessary. Cleaned up after themselves and there were no hidden surprises. Would definitely recommend to use again. Competitive pricing for a quality install.

Magic on the roof

Good quality installation
The quoting process was great. Solar Air Energy sent a representative to my property for the quote who was very professional and provided the information I was after. The installation went as planned, the installers turned up on time and for the most part were professional, did a good job and were relatively tidy. The customer service was good, the apps etc was setup and instructions about what I had to do for grid connection and contact with retailer were provided.Inverter rating: 4/5

Professional and efficient
Knowledgeable sales person. Timely and informative quoting. Installation occurred on promised date. It was fast and efficient (6 hrs) and the site was left clean. Quality System, Fantastic Service
This quote was not the cheapest option but we chose it because of the quality of the components.The company did an onsite inspection before quoting and explained the options thoroughly to us before a contract was signed. The documentation provided was clear and comprehensive and the company handled all the necessary paperwork with Energex. Communication and arrangements with everyone were efficient and reliable. The installation team were a pleasure to have on site, and a small problem we had post installation was fixed as soon as practicable. Very happy customers.

Excellent Service
Nathan from Solar Air Energy could not have been more helpful in our decision making process regarding solar installation. He happily answered all my many questions, gave frank advice as to the pros and cons of various options, and adjusted the quote given in response to changes in the specifications we wanted. The installation happened promptly, we were well informed of what was happening during the process, and his team installed the solar system and two air conditioners in half a day, leaving the house very neat and tidy. Nathan assisted us in accessing and using the app associated with the solar, in organising for our energy retailer to install the meter, and in getting Energex to fix an excessive voltage issue that he detected. Vastly exceeded my expectations.
First up, Nathan was very thorough in working out what solar system would work best for us and explaining how everything worked. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns about battery safety. Gail was on the phone straight away to organise a time...and reorganise it when we had to get a new roof installed first! Then Jack, Seth, Jack, Mark and Myles arrived and had our system up and running by 2pm. They were professional, efficient and very neat with the installation, and they cleaned up afterwards really well. I am super happy with the system. It is an impressive piece of kit and It has vastly exceeded my expectations. Nathan is helping us with the network and grid connection process which makes life easier.I have to say, the REC 410 Alpha Pure R work exceptionally well and easily meet our power needs. The Sungrow 10Kw SH10RS inverter is a marvel and manages to keep our power usage from the Energex grid at zero almost all the time.

Trouble-free installation
We installed a replacement solar system with SolarAirEnergy.It was a smooth and trouble-free process from start to finish. Anthony who came to give us a quote and managed to make a small but significant change to our hot water settings before we even agreed to the work, Corey & Brodie who removed the old panels and installed the new panels, and Tom and Jack who returned with the right smart meter - every one was friendly, professional, efficient and tidy!!
We are really happy with changeover and the novelty of being able to see exactly what the system is doing and how we are using power hasn't worn off yet!!
