Definitely recommend Southside Solar. Communication is excellent. The owner called the day after requesting the quotes. He was knowledgeable of the product and it was good to know that the owner of the company is also the installer. This install was for a tenant, and Calvin worked with the property manager and tenants. He sorted all the admin with Synergy and from quote to install was three weeks.

Great design great price great installation.
Highly recommend Calvin and Celeste from SOUTHSIDE SOLAR AND ELECTRICAL PTY LTD.I researched and compared for months and spoke to many companies. But Calvins design and brands kept staying on top of the pile, especially pricing quality etc.
This is a husband and wife team who have excellent communication . Calvin has two apprentices to compliment the installation team. And Celeste is business manager. If you want down to earth honest service ring Calvin . No pushy sales no flashy advertising no misleading
promises. Just straight forward service. The system is great . The size is perfect for our family and will future proof our energy needs . Specific system is longi 475w panels x 20, SolaX inverter 10000w and 22.1kwh SolaX battery. It is all monitored via the SolaX cloud app on my phone which gives lots of valuable information. I can run 4 x reverse cycle air cons on cold 22degrees high fan and the system easily copes. There is no draw from grid, it is exporting to grid. For a family of four , three fridges , four a/cons , etc this is a perfect system to sheild yourself from grid bills and not fear future rises.

Excellent value, professional installation, and outstanding long term performance
I had Southside Solar and Electrical install an 8.8?kW Longi solar system and a 21.8?kWh SolaX battery, and the experience has been fantastic from day one. The products are great value, and the system has delivered exactly what was promised — strong solar production and a perfectly sized battery for my home.Calvin handled the entire process and was exceptional throughout. He is knowledgeable, tidy, and highly professional, and the installation quality reflects that. Everything was explained clearly, the site was left spotless, and the system has been performing flawlessly.
I also want to mention that I didn’t realise SolarQuotes would request a follow?up rating later on. I chose to wait a full year before writing my review so I could properly experience the system over all seasons — and after a year of use, I’m still extremely happy with the performance and value.
I’ll admit I was initially skeptical about the SolaX battery brand, but after a full year of daily use, it has performed extremely well. The battery has been reliable, delivers the expected capacity, and the SolaX app keeps improving with updates — making it easier to monitor and manage the system over time.
