Gas? Gone!
They organized everything, panels and battery, central heating and hot water. Cleaned up afterwards. Organized the rebates and grid connection.Panel rating: 5/5

Good Experience
We had a very good experience with Zeco, the only company who came out to talk to us. They listened to us and helped us to ask the right questions. Excellent all round.10 April 2026
Great experience from quote to install
I sort multiple quotes and Josh from Zeco took the time to come out and visit me, inspect the house and then sit down and make suggestions listening to what I wanted to achieve. The pricing from Zeco was competitive with the other quotes and I had more confidence they understood the job by coming on site. The invoicing process was easy and a timeline was agreed.The installer Cathal from Zeco took the time to look around the site and then we talked through options around the practicality of the installation including the what I wanted in terms of neatness and low profile looks. The installation took 3 days and the workmanship and attention to drys was first class. Cathal and his co-worker turned up on time and were polite and accommodating. They cleaned up each day and left the site spotless when they finished.
I had several operation and paper process questions and Josh and Tom were helpful along the way.

Great quote and happy to answer questions
The salesperson came on site to do the quote and had already seen an aerial view of the property. He answered all of my questions and followed up to see if I was happy with the quote. I asked for a few adjustments, which were done promptly, and it was no problem. I accepted the quote, which was easily done online, and am waiting for installation.17 October 2025
Efficient and professional
Sales quoting process was helpful and professional. Assistance was provided with the planning process, necessary because of heritage overlay. All questions dealt with.Installation delayed a little, no doubt because of demand, but when started the installers were punctual, friendly and knowledgeable.
Customer service fine, showed how to use charger and associated app. Grid connection was automatic following inspection, possibly because it was a replacement array. All documentation provided.

Disappointing
Sales experience - 10/10Install Coordination - 4/10
Installation - 6/10
Customer service was amazing before I signed contact. Once handed over to install coordination I lost every bit of contact. I received no updates, when I called I was told I would receive a call back which I did not.
Was told 3-4 weeks for install at contract signing, was told 3-4 weeks at week 3 when I called for an update. Was called at end of week 5 to offer me 1 day 1 week out. I had charity commitments that day, so they said they would call me back the next week as they can only book 1 week on advance.
During the follow up I was given 14 hours notice they needed to complete a second inspection, this was the first time I found out this inspection was required, I moved my schedule around to od my best not to delay in the install.
During week 5 I had to threaten to cancel to get any form of commitment of when my install will take place.
Install was completed week 7.
No install reminder
Installer arrived at 6:59am and left at 7pm.
I found out at 7pm they expect me to dispose of all the rubbish. This included
- boxes the battery and inverted came in
- pallets the panels and battery were delivered on
- off cuts / left overs of metal rails, cables, paperwork/manuals
- installers lunch containers and drink cans
I had to argue regarding the largest pallet (1.5x2m) as it would not fit in my SUV.
I spent 4 hours sorting and doing two full trips to the tip to dispose of everything.
The quality of the install does look to to be good quality.
However during the process I found myself recommending my friends installer, as I could not recommend my experience to people I like.

Hi Oliver,Apologies it has taken a day to respond to you, we wanted to take some time to understand what went wrong from our perspective. Firstly, while your disappointment is valid and our process was not as sharp as we expect from ourselves, we do want to make note of a few things.
We keep our clients updated of project timelines through our ticketing system and our internal logs do indicate that this was active and functioning for you, meaning you would have been emailed every time your ticket (installation) progressed through our system prior to install.
As always, our goal is to minimise the time you have to wait for your next system. With adverse weather across Melbourne in the last few weeks, we've had to be flexible in our need to reschedule projects and work in narrow gaps to uphold the expectations our clients have of us to get their systems installed in a timely manner. This is likely why your secondary inspection was fast-tracked and thank you for moving your schedule around to accommodate.
It is standard practice for our installers to remove any and all packaging and waste before leaving the site and they have been spoken to as a result of your review. However, a clean site is part of the promise we make to clients and we were only a call away to fix this error before you were forced to.
We'll pass on the kind feedback of your experience before signing the contract and the workmanship behind the installation and please remember that if you ever have a question or technical issue, we'll be here with the best after-sales support.
But we're very sorry you didn't get an enjoyable experience from ZECO Energy.

Great service and the entire process.
Great service from a quick response, professional and punctual sales person, office updates, installation, and their referral to inspection. Everyone was great and helpful to guide us through what might have been a very intimidating process. It was also a very quick process.
Outstanding Experience
We had a Sigenergy solar, battery, and EV charger ecosystem installed by Zeco Energy and couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Marc and Tom C were fantastic to deal with throughout — communicative, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about the technology.Our roof geometry made for a genuinely tricky install, but the team nailed it without any compromises on the design. They also ran a 32A circuit for our EV charger all the way from one side of the house to the other, fully concealed — a real triumph given the distance and layout involved.
The admin and support side of things matched the on-site work: responsive, clear, and professional at every step.
All the rebates and grid connection were organized for me seamlessly.
Although not the lowest of seven quotes I received from other providers, I have firmly reconciled that with the adage 'you get what you pay for'.
I highly recommend Zeco Energy to anyone considering solar, battery, or EV charging — this is a team that clearly takes pride in getting the details right.
