About
Western Australia solar, battery and EV charger installer Connect Solar began operations in 2008. In 2017, the family-run firm re-branded to Solar My Home WA, and then back to Connect Solar in 2025.

I want to change the world, and at the very least my community. We live in an age where we can generate our own electricity free from the sun - so why are we paying for power? More to point we only have 1 planet Earth (for now) and for that reason we have the responsibility to leave this Earth at the very least the same as when we got here. But why stop there?
My purpose is to bring affordable solar solutions to home owners across WA and bring the power back to you (pun intended). With over 12 years’ experience in the renewables industry installing solar and battery systems for home and business owners, I have the solution; I guarantee it!"

Very Happy with Our System
The service from day one was fantastic with a competitive quote - they were responsive regarding what we wanted currently for our solar, battery, and EV charger system as well as future increased electrical use and helped us determine the right products.Fantastic communication at every step, including when the state government changed the rebates, and always arrived on time. Also very helpful with 2-step install of the panels due to our roof not having sufficient supports in some areas and needing some additional steel, maximising the number of panels on the roof.
The whole system is doing every we want - plenty of solar to keep both the battery and car charged with solar and minimising our peak costs.

Exceptional Service
In 2022, Solar My Home(Solar Connect) doubled the size of our existing solar array and added a Fronius Gen24 Inverter/BYD battery system.The sales, installation and all ongoing support by Brad and his team has been extremely impressive and we wholeheartedly trust and recommend the company.
A good example would be when a fault developed last month with one of the original solar panels.
Solar Connect diagnosed the problem, temporarily isolated the faulty panel and then arranged and installed a warranty(!) replacement of the failed panel that had been installed back in 2014 by a different company. All without any input from us!
