Energy Assist is an Australian owned and operated isntallation company with experience in the solar power industry since 1994. The company's showroom is in Melbourne's Croydon, with offices also on the Mornington Peninsula and Point Lonsdale.

Would not recomend them!
Happy with the initial visit and quoting process. After that they where unreliable. Delay Delay Delay, They never advised of delays. I Constantly had to contact them for updates on battery delays after sigenergy battery faults all over the media and they took days to get back to me or I had to ask severeal times to get a response. Then start dates were pushed back, ie they never showed up on the date they said they would and I had to contact them to find out what was happening. Three (3) weeks after installation and I am still waiting on Switchbiard works to be completed which include blackout protection. This was agreed on as cost plus and not priced into the initial contract. I made a mistake and paid promptly on invoice, I should never have paid them the final payment before these extras where completed. its now 3 weeks since then panels went in. I understand the hold ups with Sig batteries in mid to late 2025 but that has nothing to do with their lack of communications and the overall delay since signing the contract in Late Sept 2025.I am really dissapointed that solar quotes recomended these guys!

Scott,We are truly sorry that your experience with us has been so frustrating. That was never our intention, and we completely understand how disappointing and inconvenient this situation has been for you.
At the time we received your order, Sigenergy initiated a product recall process. This created significant disruption not only for us, but across the entire industry. Energy Assist, along with many other providers nationwide, faced major delays in getting approved products released and delivered to our warehouse for installation.
Despite repeated assurances from our suppliers, replacement and approved products were not made available within the timeframes we were given. As a result, installation schedules were repeatedly revised over the course of several weeks. Unfortunately, your installation was directly impacted by this recall process and the resulting supply chain issues.
Throughout this period, we were working hard to keep customers informed and updated as new information became available. Regrettably, it appears that your project did not receive the level of communication it should have during this time. For that, we sincerely apologise. Falling short on communication is not the standard we aim to uphold.
We truly value your business and your patience, and we are committed to ensuring that situations like this are handled better in the future.

Highly Recommend
I would highly recommend Energy Assist. From my first contact and throughout the battery installation I was very impressed with Mike and the installers, Aaron & Kris. The administration and scheduling staff were also very polite, professional & efficient. An added bonus was that my system was installed sooner than anticipated.Battery rating: 5/5

Prompt, efficient installation.
Quoting process was prompt and all queries responded to quickly by Mike. Installation happened earlier than expected and was undertaken professionally and neatly. The installers didnt turn up at the time indicated and without any notification but Mike followed that up for us. No walk through of the system provided at the end of the install but company followed back with helpful technical advice when requested. System works very well and we are pleased with the result.Inverter rating: 5/5

Energy Assist - Sigenergy Battery
Energy Assist (Mike & Juliette) originally supplied my Solar and Inverter, I was familiar with the sales team. The quotes provided from other suppliers were comparable. I chose Energy Assist because I had used them previously and they provided excellent after sales service for my solar (& also my mother’s solar we used them for her installation also). I decided to upgrade my inverter to the same company as the battery - SigEnergy. The installation team did an efficient job in installing the new inverter and battery. I was originally schedule for mid December, however an opening came up earlier so my battery has now been installed ahead of proposed time.17 November 2025
Excellent, no frills, no fuss, and totally professional company.
We were adding a battery and appropriate inverter to an existing 10kW solar system. There was no up-selling or jargon involved and they provided direct, honest advice that respected our budget. we were able to talk to their senior electrician to fully understand our options, and the installation was a masterclass in professional customer relations and old school tradesmanship. The site was spotless when they finished. The independent commissioning and certification was seamless thanks to the friendly office staff, and we have exactly the system we wanted, fully operational in less time than we initially expected. Their price was the best, even adding extra work on the switchboard to enable us to leave the grid very easily, when ready.Panel rating: 5/5

A Good Experience
Mike was helpful with the quotes answering as many questions that I had. It is still important to educate yourself (such as learning from solar quotes website) and know what battery storage and inverter power options you have the pros and cons.The installers did a good job on the install of a Sigenstor system and behaved in a professional manner.
So far I have I have not needed to contact customer service but they are available to answer any questions through Phone and email.

Awaiting installation due high demand
Signed contract 4 weeks ago and awaiting installation. It is expected that installation will occur within 5-8 weeks from date of contract.29 August 2025
Stress-free process with great support throughout
The whole experience was great with Energy Assist. The quote was competitive and met our requirements for a system that is highly recommended and able to future proof our home. The advice on solar system and battery size was just right for our needs now and into the future. The installation timeline was good, and the team turned up promptly on the day. It was evident they knew what they were doing, and they installed our big system (24 panels and 2 batteries) in one day in a professional manner that instills confidence. After sales support has been reassuring with all documentation managed promptly by the admin team and I feel confident that I can go to them any time I need advice. The system is working great. Great service
Our journey started warching Finn Peacock's youtube videos. His videos showed enough information for us to easily understand how solar works and how the process of installing. We chose Energy Assist as they gave us a competitive quote and they were easy to deal with. They did not pressure us to choose them and gave us enought time to decide which system to get installed. Our thanks to Mike, Gemma and the rest of the team for being patient with us. We appreciate the effort on getting our solar+battery system installed, plus a good deal.

Not a hassle
Mike was informative when quoting, able to adjust system to meet changing requirements. No sales pressure.Aaron and Mitch (installers) were professional, able to site equipment in preferred position.
They were on time, kept us informed of the process throughout the day and left the worksite tidy.
Gemma (customer service) was able to arrange installation and commissioning of system around our schedule and ensured quick turnaround of all paperwork.
Could have been a better demonstration of how app works, but there are YouTube videos and Facebook pages to find answers

I was very happy with the installation of my solar system.The quoting and installation process was very professional.
The Installers were very polite and respectful.
The reception staff were also very helpful.
I can recommend this company if you are making the change to solar.
