Great product
After getting overloaded by the issue of a battery purchase, the Impressive Solar’s sales process was informative and very helpful in sorting out my questions. Their installation team was excellent - polite, knowledgeable and capable. Would use again and recommend with no doubts.26 March 2026
Battery installation to previously installed system
The qouting process was good, not pushy and sales person was helpful.The only thing that was probably not explained was that the inverter can only deliver 5kw if power so if the demand is higher then we have to buy power from the grid as well.
The installation was smooth and no hassle and they helped organize the grid connection and set up the phone app.

Impressive Electrical
Impressive electrical were Impressive! I have no hesitation in recommending them. The process was seamless.Sam was very transparent in the quoting period, Dwayne kept me informed during planning phase. Darren and Lucas were punctual, organised and efficient during the installation phase.

Good service and support throughout the process
Supplied solar and battery system. Staff were very friendly and helpful and no high pressure sales. Did get cheaper quotes elsewhere but pricing was still reasonable and within expected range, and installers did a good job installing, addressing issues during the install and cleaning up as well as providing support after install.Panel rating: 5/5

Good, honest & responsive.
Good communication from quoting process answering all my questions. Good workmanship from installer and the service from Impressive Solar has been good. They are still helping me fault log some issues that is technically out of their scope. Would recommend.05 March 2026

Excellent service from sale to install
The whole process was excellent. Sales team was informative and did not apply pressure. Installer arrived on time and did a fantastic job. My home was left in the same state as it was found. System up and training was seamless.08 February 2026

Richard from Impressive Electrical was happy to answer my questions and was very responsive even while he was on holiday. Mixed experience.
The good:- battery system is very affordable, aesthetically pleasing and working well.
The average:
- installation team did the job well/ timely. However, they could have done a better job cleaning up all the bits of plastic/ metal from my yard. Even cleaning some of the mud off the battery would have been appreciated. Also, post-installation information, hints/ tips was not very thorough. I had to press for as much information as possible.
- The ESY Sunhome app took a while to calibrate to the system. It presents well in some areas (such as live energy flow interface) but there is no functionality to set up charge/ discharge parameters. I found it quite unsophisticated overall and this is rather disappointing.
The poor:
- extremely poor communication from the installer. I had to follow up multiple times and be the proactive one to get clarity on installation timeframes. I felt in the dark a lot of time from initial quote to installation. It was very unpleasant and had to escalate to SolarQuotes team for support.
- installer clearly lacked pre-installation project management. Very little written communication/ email exchange to keep a record of status and events.
- extra charges were included, above quoted price. I would never have know if I didn't continue to follow up on this. I also had to follow up to have prices on invoices amended.
- I was instructed to flick the 'grid by-pass' switch in my circuit box after a firmware update had been applied in the next 24 hours. I waited and did so and found that the power to my fridge was not working. I would have expected a follow up from the team to confirm that the firmware had been updated, and to talk me through the switching process. Nil to date so it's something I will need to now follow up on...
- Whenever I would call the office, it would ring out and lead to voicemail.

Happy with battery and installation
Richard was helpful and responsive to my inquiries, and also 'keen' to get the business. Communication between sign up and install was good. Installer was tidy, polite, very obliging when discussing different options for where to run conduit, ensured app and system were all functional, didn't know the app in depth - ie how to set up export times, % etc. Manuals emailed following instalation but very basic, limited explanations. Haven't had a need to follow up Impressive since installtion on 1/12, a bit of trial and error with the settings and the ESY FB user group and I'm happy with how I have the system running.12 December 2025
Great Battery Installation
The quoting process was easy and sales staff explained the system in detail.’Customer service was very good ,I was told it would be installed before Christmas and it was done this week.
Electricians were very experienced and install was done quickly by 5 staff who cleaned up on completion,set up app for me and answered all questions.

Great work and a “impressive” team
What I liked most from the beginning about Impressive Electrical and Solar was the helpful demeanour of the sales person (Sam Husband) that I talked to.While other companies sent out predetermined quotes with fixed rates, I could talk to Sam who would take my considerations into account and make a solution that truly works for me.
The installers and installation from Nathan and his team from Solar Group was also professionally done and well carried out too!
They were super polite and made sure that I was well informed on everything about the new system

Impressive
The Impressive guys were just ;Impressive.!Installation ran smoothly and the 6 battery modules and inverter look a million dollars!
A couple of power outages but that's bearable. but.....
after the guys " finished" and in spite of me telling them that I had studied Finn Peacock's After Installation checklist they were obviously keen to get home or to the pub, I got a 5 minute How to download the app. That was disappointing but admittedly I was on the phone with the bank for a long time trying to get them paid.
At my age I still don't know how to fully use the app and maybe never will.
