Fantastic from start to finish

Happy with the recommended system
The sales process was easy, and was installed on the quoted date. Install went smoothly, although the some screws were dropped so a wall around is required after the install to avoid them ending up in tyres. The after sales support is lacking, only getting return calls after multiple contacts via phone, email and text, but eventually got a response. They assisted with my dynamic connection application with Energex, but neither Open Electrical or Energex failed to advise that it was approved. The solar system and battery they recommended is great, with the battery usually full on sunny days by 11am, even in winter, so if you are looking for a locally based solar and battery supplier that has employees (not contractors) as the installers, I would recommend Jack and his team.Panel rating: 5/5

Open Electrical did an outstanding job installing our solar PV system and battery. The team was professional, reliable, and knowledgeable from start to finish, taking the time to explain everything clearly and ensuring the installation was completed to a high standard. The workmanship was excellent, the site was left tidy, and the system has performed exactly as expected. Great service value for money! This company are very professional. The installer are certified electricians and they are easy to reach to help.
I was really impressive with the Open Electrician team. They are really professional. They offer great deal for my quote. They did the job fast and sound and clean up all the rubbish after they finished the job. Great Terracotta Roof Install
Really happy with the install performed by Open Electrical Solar. We have a terracotta roof and had read some horror stories about how fragile they can be, but the guys did a great job installing and we've had no issues with the system or our roof since the install almost two months ago.The team that did the installation were all professional and respectful, and the install looks very tidy.

I had to pay extra $3000 to upgrade the switchboard.It would have been good for Open Electrical to do a physical site inspection before finalising the quote.
Overall, the experience was positive and the installation team were professional and helpful

Such a great team to work with from quote to installation. Great service and fair pricing, everyone knew their part and did their job well. Great experience from start to finish
After doing plenty of research, I reached out to Open Electrical Solar and got connected with Jake in sales. He was patient, knowledgeable, and happy to work through all my questions and I had a lot of them. He never rushed me, which gave me the confidence to go ahead with the install.Scheduling was smooth thanks to Lana, who was really accommodating and worked around my availability to get the team on-site without any hassle.
The install itself took about a week in total, which I thought was fine as we hit multiple days of rain in the middle of the install. Team handled it well and got everything done to what I think is a high standard.
Lewis, Sam and Lachie were fantastic on the tools. They did a clean, professional install of my EV charger and GoodWe battery, and also took the time to tidy up my switchboard, which was in a bit of a state beforehand. Very happy with it now!
Really happy with the whole experience and would have no hesitation recommending the team at Open Electrical Solar.

Great and fantastic help, fast work and great blokes!
Nick was great and informative, the guys who came were punctual, professional, quick and cleaned up afterwards.I didn't get a time of arrival but work still progressed smoothly even with rainy weather conditions.

No after install service
Sales/quoting process was smooth and easy. Good communication. I felt at ease and trusting of them as a company. Price was comparable to other quotes I had received.Installers turned up on time and were polite. We had two different install days (rough in and then install) Day 1 bolts/screws left on roof tiles and in gutters. Rough in wasnt completed so I needed to contact to organise them to come back as we needed it done before roof restoration. Installer came back a few days later. Day 2 zip ties were left all over lawn and roof tiles were broken and either left or attempted to be fixed with silocone. We were not notified about damage (on brand new roof) and discovered the damage ourselves. Company called and damage somewhat rectified that afternoon. No run through/explanation of system provided. Except "It's all through the app". No handover notes sent only email to sign for rebate and invoice.
Attempted to understand how the system works but although we had a large system and battery we were still using a lot of grid. Phoned company 11 days after install to get some technical support and information on how to configure system. Left a message with answering service. No one phoned back. Rang the following day and once again left a message. No one phoned back. Left it another two weeks and then phoned again. Left a message. No one called back. Sent an email with my query. Phoned a third time left a message no one called back. Three weeks - 4 phone calls, 2 emails and still no returned calls.
Phoned again, left frustrated message. Phone call was returned 30mins later by admin. She was unable to help me with my technical questions but asked for information to be emailed so she could get correct person to help. Emailed information. A week later still no contact. Emailed different admin email address. Response provided that unable to help with questions but it has been passed on to person who can help.
Received $375 monthly electricity bill for the month following install even though we have a 15kwh system and 50kwh battery. System is clearly not configured properly, but 4 weeks and still no contact from company. Once you pay your invoice you are no longer their problem. Is concerning for any future warranty needs.

Wow - I thought good old fashion service was lost
From the very first call with Salesman Nick, then onto to site inspection prior to finalising quote by Director Mark, then the other director Jacks follows up with email to thank me for deposit, now that's hands on owners engaging their clients. At this time, I was already on team Open Electrical Solar, then in came Lana to confirm installation date and time. Installation day, Samuel and his team of enthusiastic Sparky’s to carry out removal of old system and installation upgrade to thirty-four panels on three sperate roof section plus the 49kw battery. No issues here, communication was clear and concise. Samuels first text was to notify me he was on his way with ETA of 52 mins, I could even track him on his journey. Open Electrical Solar is the complete turnkey package; no steps were missed. Save yourself the time and make the call and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.Panel rating: 5/5

Fantastic experience at every stage
Boris who we dealt with for the quote was fantastic, he gave real advice in a clear way. I appreciated the entire process. My own reviews of what was quoted clearly put their quote on top as compared to others. The installing team was polite and efficient. Fantastic installer!
The whole process with Open Electrical has been nothing short of outstanding, from start to finish. The sales person answered every question I had (and there were a lot) they had all the information and delivered a system that will be exactly what I need.The installers were on time, very professional, again answered any questions I had, were neat and tidy, sourced extra roof tiles, and were just absolutely fabulous
They have shown me all I need to know with the solar system and explained the app

Another great job from Open Electrical
After installing a solar only system early last year before the government moved the goal posts (in a positive direction) I had the team come back and replace the Fronius inverter with a Goodwe ESA stack.Once again the guys showed up on time, performed a very neat install and left the garage spotless even after telling them I was happy to run the shop vac over the floor once they left.

Great install and value for money!
The whole process was professional and friendly. The team were helpful during quoting, and then quick to install once I decided on the battery/solar I wanted. No hassle install, and amazing work
From quote to delivery, the whole process has been simple. I was told to expect an install from 12 Jan but got my order a week earlier. Team arrived at 8am promptly, removed my legacy environment, installed, tested, and cleaned up within around 4hrs due to the start stop of rain. Not a spec of dust to be found good job fellas, appreciate the hard work.I was given a brief run down on the workings of the battery, and some best practices as the manual does not specifically cover these important tests.

Terrible after sales service
Quoted and Installed solar panels, but 4 years later the screws they used to secure the brackets to the wall leading to the roof, came away in 3 places. They provide a 10 year warranty on workmanship and installation, but this is worthless as 6 months later I am still waiting for the repair to be done. In my opinion, very unprofessional after multiple calls and emails.Inverter rating: 3/5

Quality Investment with Professional Service

Great price, good workmanship, customer service response time below expectations
The quotation process was great, they were flexible with timing and took care of all the relevant paperwork and the install happened on time as scheduled.There was an error in the design they used that meant one string of panels was not producing due to the string voltage being too low for the inverter.
The standard customer service channel was very slow to respond but luckily I had the owners email and things were fixed within 24 hours once I contacted him directly.
The system has been running well since then, just over 3 months.
I have been very happy with the end result and recommend Open Electrical.
