From the quoting process onwards the team at Solargain were fantastic. They answered all the questions that I had. The install team were great and very friendly, explaining all the functions of the inverter and battery. We are still to have our system commissioned as yet.18 June 2024

Great service from Quote to Installation
Quote received same day as visit. Sales Person got onto roof for inspection rather than rely on Google picture of roof. Installation date was set and crew arrived on time. Gave an overview of the process, kept us informed of the timelines, cleaned up and demonstrated the inverter shut down start up procedure, and the smart meter.12 April 2024

Good installation

Great installation polite, tidy, punctual and organized grid connection but never got back to me with a problem I had in that when I bought the house the previous owner had the old system wired to only use solar excess on the hot water like a diverter does and now they've added the extra system the hot water comes on ANYTIME even on the dearest rate!
I've ordered a green catch diverter and in the meantime been manually switching the hot water on at 10 am
10 months later we asked Peter : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes performing great but a suggestion for solar Installers to make themselves more familiar with hot water diverters as I got someone else to install a greec catch diverter and after setting it on sola only don't get a sec bill now it's just the best thing and I read about it in one of your articles as they're great too !!With most people getting bigger systems these days I don't know why people don't get resistive instead of heat pump and government only gives subsidies for heat pumps!

Did not take advantage of my ignorance and listened.
I decided on solargain even though they were not the cheapest.They inspired confidence by demonstrating their expertise and understanding of my needs.
10 months later we asked Ian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Worked perfectly, seamless transition during power cuts.No problems.

Great service and follow up
Both sales and quoting where excellent, they were very helpful, answering all our questions and concerns. We also went for a new hot water system connected to the unit. I would have no problem recommending Solargain. System is not yet installed due to current work load.10 months later we asked Greg: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Very much so, we have seen the difference it is making to our bills. Changing the way we us electricity in our home has been perhaps a challenge but it has proven to be the way to go when we installed our system, use itwhen the sun shines not in the dark with on sun.02 August 2023

Highly recommend, great service from start to finish
SolarGain was initially referred to us through Solar Quotes and accepting their quote was easy to make due to their professionalism and great customer service. Jacqui at SolarGain Gippsland was so easy to deal with and took us through every step when making the application for our rebate from Vic Solar. Jeremy, the installer/electrician was also very obliging and friendly and explained everything we needed to know about our solar installation. I would definitely recommend SolarGain Gippsland and will be returning to them when we are ready to install a battery to our system.23 June 2023
Great installation from start to finish.
I contacted Solargain Bairnsdale after unsuccessful attempts to obtain a quote from another local solar installer.Jacqui arranged for Matt to come out the next morning. Matt discussed our requirements, designed the system and had our quote completed on the spot. We accepted the quote and the system was installed 6 weeks later.
Daniel and his installation team were very professional, explained how the system works and the process involved in connecting to the grid. Jacqui was vey helpful and knowledgeable in answering any questions I had during the process.
I would highly recommend Solargain Bairnsdale to anyone in the region looking to install solar.

Very professional
Considering that there is no other installer available in my area they are one of the most professional company that I’ve dealt with. From the initial quote and explanation to someone who had little knowledge of solar, to the installation team, all went exactly as per plan.Every time I had another question it was answered.
Solargain arranged for the grid connection and connection with power retailer.

Local, costly but provides peace of mind.
6.6kw Installation and commission proceeded as planned.I already had a 5kw Sungrow storage system in place and was limited for space in my switchboard.
By going with another Sungrow inverter I was able to leverage off my existing consumption smart meter and integrate into my existing phone based app.
Ben the system designer allowed for an additional break out box as a Plan B if the integration to the one meter was not successful.
The installation team were very efficient and left every thing in a very clean and tidy state.
Solargain arranged for the Electrical Inspection and my new system is now up and running.
As I had previously accessed the Victorian Solar Program I was not entitled to any rebates beyond the STCs.
I did pursue five other quotes some which were circa $3k cheaper, however I decided to stick with the local supplier that I knew had been in business for a while.
10 months later we asked Geoff : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, I have been able to run my new spa at very little or no cost. Plenty of power available except on the heaviest of overcast days.

Matt came out to see us and was extremely knowledgeable and great to deal withJacqui followed up on everything and was so outstanding, Jacqui let nothing undone - great will all communication.
Daniel and his team installed the panels on a warm day, they were a credit to young people so respectful.

Perfect experience
Everything was amazing, from the first day of quotes to the final end result.I was quoted back in October and the install finished early Feb.
The experience is honestly a full 20/20 stars but I have to do 4/5 for value only because I myself didn't look around more to know if the price I paid for the system was good value or not. My friends and family in other states and areas told me what they paid for their and I wondered if I had done more looking maybe!
But no regrets going with solargain, I can highly recommend them

All communication was timely. Our requirements were taken note of and the company was prepared to make some adjustments to panel angles part way through installation at our request. Installers were on time, courteous and tidied up each day of the three day installation. The company supported us in organising the grid connection. The system was clearly explained to us.We chose this company because of the high standard of service at the sales/quotation stage. The company representation took the time to listen to our requirements and discuss possibilities. His knowledge of the product and the industry in general was very apparent. This company was also the only one recommended by SolarQuotes in our area and although we spoke to two other companies, Solargain was the obvious choice for us and their quote was competitive.

My solar experience
I really appreciate a company that is on time, and they were. When I had a query, it was answered quickly. The installation looks very good and everything works perfectly. I had an issue with the data coming through from the inverter being incorrect; well, one of the staff personally came the same day and fixed it.Panel rating: 5/5

Excellent installation of Solar System. Below average installation of Hot Water System
Solar System.Installation was carried out as arranged, on time and in a very professional manner. Skill levels were first class. Interaction with customer was both courteous and friendly. Advised and resolved the issues which occurred.
After installation, they detailed steps required to be undertaken for grid connection
Rating: Excellent.
Hot Water
Electrical installation carried out by Solargain personnel was again excellent.
Plumbing however, carried out by a local subcontractor was unsatisfactory. I regard the workmanship to be low quality and as result of fitting a critical item incorrectly resulting in no hot water being available despite the storaged tank being at the required temperature. This required them to return the following day to correct this issue.
Rating: Electrically" Excellent", Plumbing "Below average".

The Solargain team have made the process of putting a complex solar system onto our house a really positive experience. Bryn worked to make sure the system suited our needs and when supply issues outside his control impacted our job, he was agile and adaptable and reconfigured the system. Good service

System all good. One thing to consider that I lost my hot water controlled load on ausnet so this may reduce the advantage of solar financially depending upon the reseller. This matter should be advised by the solar sellers to prospected customers so as not to get this unexpected news when you get your electricity bill.06 December 2021

Great Service
The team at Solar Gain/Solar 360 did a great job installing my new Solar Panel and inverter system in July 2021. there was no pressure before the sale, only good advice on the products and options for my new system. Great workmanship on installation and friendly reliable after sales support. Recently my gas hot water service packed up, so I contacted Julian and Josh to enquire about an option for a heat pump. The whole process was straightforward and efficient. From initial quote to installation and final forms, everything went smoothly. Installation was over 2 days and for both they were punctual, informative, and set everything up just as expected. Fantastic Installer!!
Great service from all involved from start to finish. Bryn was fantastic to deal with and nothing was to much trouble and answered all questions and queries very promptly. Alex and the rest of the installation team were very friendly and polite and done a great job. Arrived on time both days of the install and were very neat and tidy with their work and the clean up was wonderful, not a single bit of rubbish left behind. The sales/quoting process exceeded my expectations. We chose Solargain Gippsland because they did a site visit and I was able to meet the person who would be supporting us through this installation. They were not the cheapest of the quotes that we received, but we felt very confident in the advice that was given and that they were genuine in helping us choose well.The installation was amazing! A crew of about eight people arrived when they said they would and were clearly ready to work safely and efficiently to complete the work within a day. I was really pleased that I did not detect any cigarettes (either from the smell of smoke, or butts on the ground) - my assumption is that none of the workers were smokers but if they were, they were extremely discreet.
The Team Leader kept me informed of progress and when the power needed to be turned off. The Team Leader was patient with me to make sure I was comfortable with the decisions that were being made about the position of the PV panels before continuing with the work. The team were very mindful of taking care with the fragile roof tiles when breakages are common. I was really happy that only one tile was broken when I was preparing for there to be many more.
The customer service throughout the process and afterwards has been the best I have ever seen! It gave me great comfort to be able to email or call Solargain Gippsland and speak directly to my contact there. I have been informed of all the steps along the way and feel that I have made a really good decision to work with this company.

Great service
Quoting service was easy and understandable for the lay person, the installation was done in one day and they were polite and tidy. The customer service was excellent, we did not have to do much at all, it was taken care of for us. From the start of installation to now waiting on our service provider to finalise their part has only taken one week. Very impressed.
