Solid installation
Presales was wonderful - only company that came on site to discuss the job before quoting. Prices seemed very fair with multiple options suggested.After signing the order though, responsiveness to communication became less than stellar. Emails went unanswered and contact only made when *they* needed to progress the installation.
Installation went well with most rubbish picked up (there were a few cable ties and bits of wire and stripped insulation left around the place, but I am being picky)
The crews arrived on time and the job was done in a day.
The only thing I can fault is that the installer did not label the BACKUP/GRID changeover switch and to date I have not received any response to my emailed question about that. I guess we'll know which way it needs to be when the next blackout occurs!

GoodWe ESA and EV charger combo
Great sales advice and a well designed system (10kw solar, 24KW GoodWe ESA battery and GoodWe 7kw ev charger). Works a treat. We also bought two brand new EVs as a result too! Would have been 5* apart from a few installation clangers like overestimating the roof space so a few panels are on the south side of the roof, installing but forgetting to turn the system on, and some delays with the EV charger installation as well. Different subcontractors coming to finish the work of other wasn’t ideal either.Inverter rating: 5/5

Highly recommend for quality service and installation
The highest praise to Sungen for my solar panels, inverter and battery installation. The site inspection, advice, explanations and quotations were well communicated.At all times I was comfortable and confident that my best interests were being prioritised to ensure that I received a quality service and products that met my needs.
The installation was completed on time today and has exceeded my expectations. The team were punctual, courteous and efficient.
My questions were never a problem and were well answered so that I am now better informed to manage my "solar system".
I have no hesitation in recommending Sungen.

Fantastic installation
The installation process was professional fast and clean. Every step was explained in detail . Due to the number of technicians on the job the job was completed in just a few hours when I thought that it would take days.I also had a Tesla wall charger installed and that was a professional job as well.
I cannot recommend this installer enough.

Excellent installation, very happy customer, great communication
Jackson and the team were great. The sales process went really well and they were patient with all of my ongoing questions. The price was very reasonable (slightly below some of the larger installers) and the installation happened as planned. The installation team were also very professional and tidy. Follow up service has been great as well, with Sungen being happy to answer any questions I have about the new system (I was very new to Solar).Happy to recommend Sungen. I actually recommended Sungen to my mother, who have also used Sungen to install solar and battery on her property.

Highly recommended. Efficient, Responsive, Competitive.
Sungen provided a clear quote and tailored the system to my needs. The installation process was smooth and easy. I had a problem with one of the battery modules, and Sungen worked to fix it, but eventually swapped it out with a replacement. I therefore experienced the after sales customer care, and it too was great. Jackson, the owner, personally responded to my texts and calls and attended to things. Great system
Great to have someone come out to the site to quote so some of the smaller details could be talked about, like battery placement, backup circuits etc. Installation was straightforward with some minor issues followed up quickly. The system was connected up to the grid and set up.
