Fantastic experience and a top-notch install!
I highly recommend Sam and the team at Instant Solar. We had a 6.65kW system installed by Sam back in Nov 2025, and then got them back to put in a 15kWh battery in Feb 2026. Honestly a fantastic experience from start to finish.Mandie in the office was absolutely brilliant and made getting everything booked in a breeze. Sam came out to do the quote and was clear and transparent from the beginning. Their pricing is competitive.
The install work itself is top notch. All the team on site were respectful and friendly. Everything was installed really neatly with all the cables perfectly run neatly and out of sight.
The system has been running flawlessly with zero issues. I had a couple of questions after the battery went in, and Sam was on it straight away with remote support. He took the time to explain things and even adjusted some of the parameters to better suit how we use the battery. The Elekeeper app is great and gives you clear data.
The numbers speak for themselves. Even before the battery, just having the solar cut our bills by 64%. Now with the battery we are sitting at 75%-85% self sufficiency. Based on the current performance we are on track to pay the whole system off in about 2.5 years.

Solar Upgrade
Instant Solar were excellent from start to finish. They provided a well-priced, easy to understand quote and did a great job with the installation. Clear and timely communications throughout the whole process. I'm very happy with the results.23 January 2026
Best customer service, punctual, attention to detail, perfect workmanship and value for money
Gavin the sales guy was knowledgable and friendly. You can ask him anything and he will respond promptly. He made sure the whole process went smoothly. I could tell Instant Solar was super organised from the beginning. 5 star for customer service.The team were punctual and arrived with a team of 6 guys. Our job was difficult because of the house's lay out. We had to put the battery and inverter inside the garage which was a seperate detached building from the house. A company we contacted cancelled the job as they deemed it too hard to do. Instant solar sent out a guy to do site inspection and layed out a plan on how to do this and took on the job.
The installation went well, everything was done properly, no tiles broken, no potential leaks (they showed me pictures of how the roof was sealed up), conduits were sealed with glue and caps for cabling were sealed with silicon. I know some installers skip these steps but these guys didnt. In our case, the cables were hidden inside the walls.
During and after the installation they were cleaning and making sure to take the rubbish and even sweeped the floor.
They helped me connect the system and download the app on my phone and how to use it.
I have gotten 10 different quotes from the cheapest and to the most expensive. These guys were in the middle but gave me 5 star workmanship and service. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.
Honest, reliable advice
I liked that one of the owners quoted and took time to discuss options for system size and products based on my family's needs. They spent considerable time answering questions and explaining concepts on the phone that other companies only wanted to do via email or by referring me to links and product info.I felt confident with my choice when accepting their quote and that confidence continues based on the installation experience.
Workmanship was good with a clean and neat install.
The value for money was exceptional compared to other quotes, especially when I consider the standard of customer service.
If you're into buying the fanciest products with all the bells and whistles to show off, this may not be the company for you but if you want honest advice and a company with integrity that wont upsell you simply for a better profit, then I recommend seeking a quote.
