Great communication, super professional install
Midland installed my solar in 2021, then I returned in 2026 to add more panels and a battery. The communication, thoroughness and professionalism are some of the best I've experienced as a customer.From the phone call/check-in and information from Leah, to the site visit from Andy, and then the actual install from his team, it was brilliant. Living in a rural area, managing the paperwork online was fast and simple.
I couldn't be happier and am super confident recommending them to anyone looking to get more solar happening!

Would give six stars if I could ...
In 2023, I sought five quotes for a home solar system. Four of the quotes suggested that I needed a large solar array and a 10kw battery, at an overall cost of $20K-$25K. Then I called Midland Solar and was advised to get a smaller solar array and wait to see if our electricity use warranted the cost of a solar battery.So glad I listened to this excellent advice. As a result of knowing that I was dealing with an honest, reliable and trustworthy company, I approached only Midland Solar for a quote earlier this year when I decided to get a 16kw solar battery. Overall, the panels and battery (with government rebates) cost substantially less than the original 2023 quotes.
From the sales/quoting process to the installation, excellent customer service was evident throughout. All Midland Solar team members - from Andy and Steve for initial scope and site inspections, to Leah and Kiera in the office and panel/battery installers (thanks, guys) were extremely knowledgeable, professional and customer-focused.
Overall, I cannot recommend Midland Solar highly enough for any solar need.

Great experience from go to whoa
From the moment I rang Midland Solar till the completed installation, the process was streamlined and problem free.Quoting was prompt and consistent with what we wanted. The site visit was exceptional and all our questions were answered by the company rep who really knew his stuff.
The installers were on time, professional yet friendly and cleaned up after the job was done.

Solar panel and battery installation, with subsequent additional battery installation
I was already "on the treadmill" of panel and battery installation with a different company, who unfortunately once the contract was signed, became uncooperative and unresponsive. Midland Solar stepped in at short notice, were able to assist me in guiding me through the process of "saving" my entitlements at very short notice and get the ball rolling for panel and battery installation. The installer was fabulous, knowledgeable and spent time explaining how things worked. When I added extra batteries to the system almost a year later, I had no hesitation in contacting Midland Solar to discuss options and take guidance from a trusted source. The Midland Solar team are second to none for professionalism and expert work.
Midland Solar are outstanding.The whole team were professional from start to finish and we could not be happier with the results.
For our Central Goldfields home, Midland installed solar PV panels, a battery, and also a heat pump.
The products we selected are of highest quality.
Every step of the way we were kept informed and the work was of the highest standard. The team that did the install were awesome.
Leah and Andy are super efficient and highly educated in this space. No gimmicks, no pressure, no cons - just A1 work.

Fantastic from planning to installation

Great product and amazing service.
Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, and provided good options and rationale.Battery installation was a breeze - they dealt with everything and it worked perfectly day 1.
Customer service 100% - including resolving some wifi issues that were outside of their remit.
They showed me now to install and use the app, and that has been very simple.

Easy to deal with and professional
Leah was very knowledgeable and talked me through the process. Quotes were delivered fast and included all rebates. The admin team were responsive and well organised. Nathan who installed the system was professional, and got it done with minimal disruption. Was concerned about losing my instant gas booster but there has been no need to worry. The new system does what it says on the tank and delivers hot water with almost no noise.Supplier Reply:

Very professional job.
The sales and quoting process was thorough and easy to understand. Leah was able to explain the details of the plan/quote and answer all queries we had. Keira kept us up to speed on what was required through the process. Andrew was responsible for coordinating the installation and that was stress free.Sam and Jacko installed the panels and batteries. Very satisfied solar system customer
Very happy with Midland Solar who looked after everything for us. Leah was immediately onto requesting system needs and providing options from first contact.Our request for a Sigenergy battery system ran into a long delay due to an Invertor switch recall. But we were kept informed about progress with it and very fortunately received the replacement part in time, enabling the system to be installed on the death knell of December 2025, and in time to receive the 2025 STC's and Energy Safe Victoria certification.
Andy from Midland Solar was the on-site rep and was very knowledgable and helpful through the process. His use of an installation team of electricians and panel fitters led by Andrew Welsh from Solar 1, was an excellent choice. Bendigo was suffering high-30's temperatures, and Andrew's team of 7 finished the whole installation in one morning - 36 panels and battery commisioning! No mean feat!
Didn't have to worry about grid connection issues or paperwork - it was all handled by Midland Solar very efficiently.
The Sigenergy phone app is great, and we are very happy how it all turned out.
A big thanks to Finn and the Solar Quotes concept - it provided us with confidence and everything went as expected.

Simple process, good advice, ststem working well
We decided the time was right to add a battery component to our 5 kw PV system.After talking to suggested providers, we went with Midland Solar. During further quotations, inspections and discussions we decided to extend our proposed system to 24kwh to cover future demands (predominantly EV).
We were able to get one of the last Victorian Government intersest free loans.
As the installation went ahead Midland Solar pointed us to providers who offered a free period of middle of the day power. We went with Globird.
Throughout bidding, loan application, installation and early post-installation, the support was beyond exemplary. They supported us in our decjsions and put in long non-business hours effort to ensure we did not miss the loan deadline.
Each part of the installation team were lrofessional and supportive and the battery was engaged from the outset.
We are very happy with the service provided.

Fantastic Installer
Excellent from quoting to installation. Everyone was very helpful from the onset.
Great service before and during installation by Midland Solar.
Midland Solar visited our house to see what system suited our needs best and its best location. We were well informed and all our questions were answered. The installation process was quick and tidy and our Franklin unit looks neat. All mess was cleaned up and we were then connected to the grid, our app was installed and it was explained how to use it.
