Five Stars for a Smooth Solar & Battery Installation
Very good experience from start to finish. The sales, administration, and installation teams were all knowledgeable, professional, and easy to deal with. Prins from Shining Solar was responsive, good to deal with and communicated clearly at every stage. The installation was completed efficiently, on time and the team left the site clean and tidy. The system is performing very well so far, and I'm already seeing the benefits of generating and storing my own energy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install solar and battery storage.Panel rating: 5/5

Seamless installation, excellent service
I decided to go with Shining Solar as I was very impressed by the professionalism of Prins. He provided all necessary information and guided us through the process without ever using any undue pressure.I am glad I made that decision as the subsequent installation and commissioning process went extremely smoothly and I received all of the information I needed. The installers were punctual and efficient, as well as being very friendly.
I would highly recommend Shining Solar as an installer that provides an exceptional sales and installation service.

Very smooth process from start to finish.
Quoting process was great. Prins provided a lot of information and advice, and their quote was not able to be matched by anyone elseThe installation date was arranged quite quickly once we accepted the quote. Bad weather called off the first scheduled date which is understandable but it was rebooked within a week. The installers were great, couldn’t fault it at all. The inspecter came out within a few days and signed it off and said it looked as good as it gets and even said that shinning solar always do good work, particularly Andrew who was the electrician that set it up up and installed it.
We are till waiting for grid connection but hopefully in the next week or so.
Post install service needs a bit of work
Initial contact, quote variations for different system configurations and install were all superb. Price/Value cannot be beat. Post sales service a little slow, likely due to high demand for a provider that offers a very competitive product.The installer used was great and did an exceptional job making sure the inverter was well placed and conduits/cabling was neat.
While install and grid connection has been quick, I've yet to have the monitoring set up finalised. The follow up inspection to certify the system was completed within days of the install, however I'm not yet able to monitor my home's energy use and export and the response has been slow and vague.
A little digging and it seems my solar meter has yet to be configured, and this is despite knowing the certificate of electrical safety has been issued shortly after the inspection (checkable via energy safe Vic site) - so it's unclear what the hold up has been; the wholesaler says this step to request changes is the responsibility of the installer via eConnect.
