Very professional, and a pleasure to deal with

Gavin and his team installed solar panels on our roof and upgraded our home from gas to electricity. They also buried our power and internet cables so that we no longer have power cables running to the roof. Gavin’s quote was competitive, and stayed within budget. At every stage, we were impressed with his team’s professionalism, punctuality and courtesy. Gavin strategically managed each step of the project, and clearly cared about delivering an excellent result. Gavin sorted out the compliance issues for us, and liaised with the NBN and EVO energy to ensure that work progressed on time. He was flexible with the dates of the installation, and able to accommodate other building works going on at the house. I highly recommend Gavin and this team to anyone considering installing solar panels."

Very happy with my solar installation

The quoting process was straight forward and the quote was well documented and easy to follow.
The installation went smoothly and the crew was very professional and answered all my questions politely.
Stored Solar organised the grid connection and help me set up the solaredge app on my phone.
The system has been working well since the installation - there have been no issues.
I highly recommend Stored Solar.

Couldn't ask for more - great install and support after

I had a great experience from start to finish. Quoting was fast, efficient and understandable. I spent a bit of time working through what panels would work for me best and Stored Solar was fantastic with good advice and flexibility. The price was good and the installation was scheduled within a short time and performed quickly with friendly and polite staff. Everything to do with grid connection and monitoring was taken care of on my behalf - couldn't have been easier. I had a hiccup with my monitoring after installation and Stored Solar helped me get it fixed - fantastic customer service after installation!
Now I'm looking for maintenance of my panels (cleaning, servicing) and Stored Solar are here to help with after sales services. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for more and better service.

Highly professional installation and service

Gavin and the Stored Solar team installed our solar system in October 2021. Everything, from first contact, through quotes, installation and post-installation service has been highly professional.

Gavin came well recommended by a number of friends whom I knew to be sticklers for detail. He quoted on a number of options, and provided extensive modelling on likely performance (which proved to be conservative and was exceeded). The installation was immaculate. The team did a neat job and left a tidy site.

Gavin contacted me about a year after the job was completed to inform me that my inverter had dropped out. He gave me instructions to bring it back on line again. He has also assisted me to engage with my electricity provider to help me deal with queries I’ve had.

At some point in future, I will build on my current system. When I do, it will be Gavin I go with. Stored Solar is a great local ACT-based company.

Great Installer

Gavin and the team from Stored Solar did a great job with my system.
From being really patient with me during the quote stage and providing me with a couple of great options for my house.
The install was exceptional, the team kept me informed throughout and kept a clean worksight.
I would definitely use Stored Solar again for all my Solar and electrical needs.

Great business to deal with

Our experience with Gavin from Stored Solar was smooth, professional with a high quality install.

I looked for 3 quotes and Gavin was the only company that wanted to come and see the site in person. This gave me much confidence that he was wanting to ensure he understood our site and provide us with the best advice and solar set up possible.

The install went as planned with Gavin’s attention to detail second to none. His follow up was excellent and our system has been running for 4 years now.

First class installation

We are very happy with the installation of our Solar Edge 12.58kW system with battery. Gavin and his team from Stored Solar are very professional and did a really neat installation. They really thought about where to place wiring, the inverter and the battery. You can see from the photo that they even installed a backing board which the inverter and battery are fixed to and this hides all of the wiring. The inspector who came to inspect the installation said this was the first solar installation he could find no faults with. He was very complimentary about the job and standard of finish. This helped to confirm our view that Gavin and his team gave us a first class job. We also had a smart meter installed along with the solar system - Gavin organised everything with our energy provider for the meter changeover. The reason we chose Stored Solar is because Gavin had previously wired an outdoor spa for us and we were impressed by the standard of his work and attention to detail thinking about where to place wiring, switches, etc so the installation looks very professional and neat. When we were looking at getting a solar system we had no hesitation in getting the job done by Stored Solar.

A Professional Installation

I used Stored Solar in 2023 to install solar panels on my roof, upgrade the meter board and change a gas hot water system to a Stiebel heat pump hot water.

Gavin is very knowledgeable when it comes to solar. He is very professional and provided clear and comprehensive communication both in face-to-face meetings and in the detailed quotes. He took the time to prepare quotes for different options for my house both in the placement of panels and the type of panels used. He spent time checking the roof for the placement of the panels as there was a 1990s extension on a 1970s house and to work out the best placement of the inverter.

The installation team arrived promptly each day, did their work efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were all friendly and courteous.

I am very happy to recommend Stored Solar.

Professional and Trustworthy installers

We were recommended Stored Solar by friends who had a very positive experience with the installation of their solar system. We experienced a similar positive experience. On contacting Stored Solar re a problem with our existing system, they were prompt to respond and provided a report on the problem and options to repair and replace. They also provided options for installing a separate system. Once agreeing to install the two new systems they kept us informed of developments and were surprisingly quick to do the installation.
The work was carried out with a minimum of disruption and we were kept informed with progress. The grid connection was floorless .

Hassle free quote process and installation

The quoting process was hassle free, The quote spelled out everything. Scheduling installation was easy and the schedule was kept, Initialy i only had a replacement solar install. (they removed the old equipment as an aside). it was completed on schedule, the inspections was arranged, and connection completed without hassle. After this got them to quote on a battery installtion, same no problems, installation was completed on schedule.
The members completing these installation were polite and curtious at all times, cant recommend highly enough.

Gavin was very professional

The installation was on time, and we had the team of electricians install over 6 days.
Trades were all very courteous and explained what they will be doing progressively through the job. what was most please was that Gavin personally went through and undertook a detailed check of all work undertaken for quality. When the install was checked by the local authorities, the comment came back from the inspector that this team and the install was one of the best he has seen for such a complicated job. That says volumes for the quality of work.

Wonderful Experience

Every aspect of the sales process, from a study of our old system (defunct), a realistic and transparent quote, to arrangements for installation, were handled very professionally.

Installation was excellent. We knew when we had to be here and when we didn't. Staff were all very switched on (so to speak), friendly and helpful with any issues we needed to raise. No question was too silly, and Gavin made himself available at times to suit us.

All issues with connection were handled by Stored Solar, without us needing to be involved.

A recent upgrade was due while we were on holidays, and which needed access to our modem. We felt perfectly comfortable with providing access, which helped all of us.

We strongly recommend Stored Solar.

Good advice and exceptional installation

The quote came after a site inspection so accurately reflected the work required.
The inverter was to be located in the garage, good for a future battery installation, out of the sun and easy to access.
Communication on all these points was clear, with Stored Solar already covering recommendations I had read about.

The installation started on the planned day with no stop until it was finished. We had vents in our metal roof where the panels were to go. The team replaced the metal sheets with new ones I had bought. They did this within the original quote and left the work site clean and well finished.

All applications and regulatory processes were covered by Stored Solar. I don't actually know what they had to do, it just all happened. The staff showed me how to download the monitoring app to my phone and explained what I could see there.

A year after the installation we were contacted by CER (Clean Energy Regulator) indicating that our installation had been randomly selected for an audit. The auditing officer was impressed with the installation, indicating that no one else used ducting of this quality. This was in the garage carrying cables to the inverter.

I found the team friendly, the quality high and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Great company, i was impressed from initial consultation when Gavin attended trough to final installation, no issues at all and top-quality installation, this company is only using own licensed electricians so there is no sub-contractors etc.. it is nice to deal with same highly skilled professionals that can definitely do the job right.

Professional Services

Stored Solar presented a detailed installation offer, they provided Indepth information of the type of materials to be used and its performance. They compared their system with others identifying the variance of product use and quality. Price was also a factor and Stored Solar worked within our budget to ensure we got our solar system installed.

Stored Solar installation was excellent, they were responsive and tidy. Upon completion they provided a comprehensive handover training of the App to use and showed us how to monitor the panels at work with grid return and solar usage

I have recommended Store Solar for other projects and the feedback was also very impressive. They ensure customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

Second System with Battery

Used solar quotes to initially find approved installers in canberra to qualify for 10 year zero interest government deal selected potential suppliers from Gov approved list
Each quote was slightly different but resolved me requirements
Installation went well very tidy position of inverter and battery just perfect happened just when expected took about 2 days resolved poor 4G coverage with real internet connection to my router for monitoring
Gavin and his team polite, responsive, friendly
All connection processes happened I didn’t need to organise that myself
Ongoing service good, no problems so far, easy to contact when I had a few questions over the time since installation

Great Service and backup from Professional Installers

We highly recommend Stored Solar. Gavin and his team were professional, prompt and did an excellent job. I had 6 quotes - Gavin did the most thorough inspection including being the only one to actually get on the roof rather than rely on Google Earth and fully investigate locations for a future battery. He was very responsive to questions and changing elements of the quote and made good suggestions regarding what should be done now. The install team were great, they communicated well and went about their tasks with a minimum of fuss, all of which gave us a high degree of confidence. They were extremely tidy and cleaned up well after themselves. Gavin provided a thorough explanation of the system once it was commissioned and took me through the app and how to use it. He has done all the documentation necessary promptly - over the weekend! We had some system issues in the first few weeks and Gavin fixed these as soon as they came to his attention. Overall we were very impressed by the Stored Solar team and have no hesitation recommending them.

highly recommended

Gavin worked with me over a number of weeks are we defined exactly what I wanted and something that would fit within my budget. It was not a straight forward project as I wanted to add a new system along side of an existing small solar system while retaining the gross feed in tariff. There were a number of future proofing components built into the new system so its battery ready and EV charger ready. Gavin was always available for a discussion and very knowledgeable and provided information about developments that are coming. He produced the most detailed and comprehensive quote of the three companies I approached. The final quote was very close to the others.

Installation was on time and the crew a great bunch of men and women. They were happy to explain what they were doing and did a top job - and cleaned up at the end.

The company did all the connections and certifications and this is covered in the comprehensive manual they provided. The only call I had to make was for a smart metre install and that work is now completed.
