First Class Installers
I highly recommend Western Elec for any solar installation needs. From initial quote to completing the installation, Michael and Tom were professional, punctual and efficient and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of their work.In addition installed 2 split system air conditioners

I couldn’t be happier with this installation, Tom and Michael were a pleasure to deal with and did everything they said they would do.
Tom and Michael were on time the day of installation, they explained what they were going to do and to my surprise and pleasure they were going to do the installation themselves!! The result is a very satisfactory job and now I am in contact with a company that is efficient and competent. I could not recommend Western Elec. more highly.09 February 2024
Fantastic installers
Great team, Western, ElectricalMichael and Tom come out for a site inspection explain all my options in easy to understand terms
I decided to go with a 13.2 kW system On the day the boys were here early had the system fitted within two days promptly and the cleaners Trademan I have seen for a long time
Had a few questions after the systems fitted Michael rang straight back to answer my questions

Hassle free quote and installation
From day one Western Elec had a professional down to earth manner that made the whole process from quote to installation a breeze. They submitted all the Solar administration requirements on my behalf and kept me informed of all the steps in the process with no hassles or drama.The day of the installation was seemingly effortless - they consulted with me on the best position for the inverter and the solar panel arrangement on the roof to ensure we maximising full sunlight and they even added several more panel optimisers in a shaded area free of charge.

Flawless
Extremely happy with the boys at Western Elec! In my initial stages of gathering solar quotes, I found Michael to be the most professional (with no pushy sales calls). Quote was issued in a very timely manner and follow up emails were attentive and informative.The installation was flawless and it was clear they take great pride in their work. They went above and beyond to hide all cable work and were very conscious to have the panel array perfectly centred. I’ve already recommended Western Elec to family and friends and will personally be using them again in the future.

Solid Quality Installer. A+
The team at Western Elec have done a fantastic job with our solar rooftop installation.Tom was knowledgeable and thoughtful during the requested site inspection, answering questions and accommodating requests whilst ensuring our overall goals were still being achieved.
Installation was prompt without being rushed and completed by the team within a day without issue. Aesthetically, the system was installed beautifully, with minimum visual disturbance to the building; the inverter was neatly and thoughtfully positioned, with tidy cabling and conduits installation, and the solar panel arrays look great from all visible angles.
In the weeks following installation, the system has performed very well to date, consistently generating power above estimations despite being Winter. We can partially attribute this to the team's advice and guidance during the design of our system.
First-class service and quality all round, with no hesitations to recommend to others.

Exceptional installer, five stars plus hands down
I cannot express how happy I am with Tom and Michael. From the get go, an extremely informative site visit and thorough explanations on the whole process. I did so much due diligence as I wanted a massive system but most importantly, to be executed professionally. Tom and Michael certainly did not disappointment. I am grateful to have met such a pair of lovely tradies , both A grade and it shows. They work together seamlessly. Excellent installer, highly recommend
Extremely happy with our solar installation, it has been up and running for a few months now. Michael was fantastic to deal with from quote to installation. Compared to other installers, I found him to be more thoughtful with the quotes, and genuine with sound knowledge and experience (as he does both the design and installation).High quality service and installation overall - I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended
The quoting process was painless.Tom was happy to answer all my concerns promptly via telephone and email.
I was asked to submit photos of my meter and my prefered location for the inverter and when I explained my future solar needs i was given options on different size systems to suit.
We decided on a 11kw system
Tom visited my home to inspect the site so there was no suprises.
On installation day the guys were on time and worked very hard to get the job done and the work was very neat with no broken tiles and finished on the day.
The electrical inspector is booked in to inspect the job tomorrow!

Great support, quality workmanship
I have decided to install rooftop solar after ordering my first EV. I'm living in a townhouse with ca. 55sqm of roof - with multiple split system units and satellite dish, the usable space for panels was much lower.I have sourced quotes from 5 installers - Western Elec crew were the only ones who came to do on-site inspection, with the rest relying on satellite images (plus my more detailed plans of the roof, access, etc.).
I like to do my own research - side effect being plethora of questions, and design changes. Tom has always been available to answer my email, talk, and to provide updated quote.
There were couple of firsts for him as well - for example installation of EV charger that I pre-purchased with the car and use of scissor lift to access the roof.
None of the above has been a problem, even removal and disposal of old satellite dish.
The installation took place two weeks after signing the contract. The crew were on time, and even the weather (raining on and off) did not phase them. Installation was completed within the day and I cannot be happier with the quality of workmanship and performance of the crew.
They were also always happy to respond to any follow-up questions I had.
Overall, very pleased with the whole process - from site visit, through installation, to aftercare.
Highly recommended.

Excellent and Friendly Western Elec
Really happy with the quality install Western Elec did -Was one of the few who would come out to site to have a look when quoting.
The install day went smoothly and everything was left neat and tidy.
Grid connection process took a few weeks but not at the fault of Western Elec, the inspection check was quickly organised and we had a delay with Momentum energy but once up and running weve been very happy.

Great installers, I highly recommend you talk with them about your solar install
Western Elec gave us nicely detailed quotes, they preemptively sent through several options at various Kw sizes without spending too much time with us trying to discuss why to move to a larger system like other more pushy retailers. Instead , their quotes included designs and fully detailed quotes and thinking behind why to choose various options. We really appreciated that.Western Elec quoted amongst the best priced systems. We opted for a larger 13Kw system than the original 6Kw we had originally contemplated based upon the reasonable pricing.
The install team of 2 were not only on time, but worked fast and did an amazing job. Maybe this is an industry of tough workers, but I have personally never seen a team work so hard across both extreme physical and technical areas and accomplish so much in one day.
The install is very neat and the conduit-lines are all sealed very nicely, so the inverter and panels really don't adversely affect the look of the property.
We have been generating more power than we need with this system, and thanks to the Western Elec team for explaining how to manage and read the GoodWe HomeKit monitor, we can see that on most days we export a consistent 5Kw to the grid (the max we are allowed) while covering all of our own power consumption needs. Really comforting to be able to see all this data live.
I would recommend setting up a seperate or guest WiFi prior to a GoodWe inverter installation, having your wifi network setup ready for your installer will save you time and give the team an easier/faster setup for you.
While the team are always busy working on a roof somewhere, they always took my calls.
I'd recommend Western Elec if you are looking to install Solar on your property.

Great communication. Neat installation
Western Elec provided the most thorough, thought out and competitive quote for installation of my solar.Once booked in, the process was explained and the team was always on time.
The installation was completed quickly and neatly and all my questions and concerns were answered well.
After the install I had further question and they were addressed quickly, even coming to my house to upgrade the monitoring system.
I would highly recommend Western Elec to anyone.
