Great installer. Well over and beyond any expectations

Easy booked visit to my place
Very prompt visit onsite with detailed discussion of what can be done and how it matches to my view/dream.
Quick offer with very reasonable pricing.
Always available on the phone for my questions arose in waiting time.
Few SMS reminders closer to the installation date.
On the date installers came to my house on exact time and were working tirelessly though the day.
The installation has been finished on same day, very clean and absolutely no mess left.
Every piece of the equipment works from start with no issues.
Happy as a clam and highly recommend Adelaide Solarsafe in Adelaide.

Value For Money, Well Executed Installation and Helpful Informative Friendly service!
I can't recommend Adelaide Solar Safe Enough! Im very happy with my system,The whole process was so easy, with James being the only one who actually came to talk to me about my needs and offer suggestions based on my own circumstances and house layout, to the Installation team who were on site early, were polite and friendly whilst working like trojans to do a fantastic job, then cleaned up better than they found it! The install is so neat and tidy and thoughtfully planned, Sam got me set up on the GoodWe app, and explained a few things to me so I knew exactly what to do once he left. Even the pre-install communication to get my approvals etc done was oustanding.

Adelaide SolarSafe highly recommended..
From the first step of meeting James for a quote, the whole experience to the end was very smooth and transparent.James is very knowledgeable and always just a phone call away for any of those ‘silly questions’. His advice was fantastic.
On installation day, Ryan and Kyal and his team were ready to go at 8am. With no fuss they completed the installation in 6hrs, and also spent time setting up the app and showing us how to get best use out of our system.
Using the same setup that other companies quoted on, these guys are very competitive… very competitive….
Clean-up was perfect, the crew were very polite and courteous, and I have nothing negative to say. They should be very proud in the way they conduct their business.
I recommend Adelaide SolarSafe be on your list to compare. In my books, they offer an outstanding service.
All of the connections to the grid etc were organised by the installers and all we had to do was call our energy supplier to advise them that we have solar. A very simple installation and very little effort on our part.

Great experience all round
Cant speak highly enough of the team at Adelaide Solar Safe.Had Andy come around and give me a quote - did the onsite inspection with the drone, looked at potential locations of panels and possible impacts of shading. Discussed time of use rates and how we can best utilise the battery.
Provided the quotes very promptly and was very responsive over email and text.
Had a visit a couple of weeks before installation to let us know all on track.
The installation team attended on the day and were great - great communication, kept me in the loop about progress - were thorough with the handover to show me the changes to the meter box, the battery and the app. Felt confident immediately with the work that was done and how I would manage it.
Administrative documentation came through the next day, followup calls within the week just to check in to make sure everything is ok. I've even asked about getting another quote to upgrade the current battery stack! All in all a great experience, professional and great value for money too - I received an equivalent quote from another organisation that was almost $10,000 more expensive - so could not recommend these guys more.

From rain to reign: My solar setup now runs the show
Don’t usually write reviews… but when I do, it’s because something has absolutely blown my socks off—and this solar battery system? Mate… consider my socks launched into orbit.From the moment the crew arrived, it felt less like an installation and more like a full-blown event. The weather clearly didn’t get the memo—classic Adelaide mood swing—because the rain decided to roll in right on cue. But did that stop anything? Not a chance. These legends worked through it like it was a light mist in Tuscany. Absolute professionals from start to finish.
The install itself? Clean. Professional. Not a cable out of place. It’s the kind of neatness that makes you want to open the battery cabinet just to admire it like it’s a showroom piece. If organisation were an Olympic sport, this crew would be bringing home gold.
Now let’s talk performance. Flicked it on, and suddenly I felt like I’d unlocked a cheat code for life. The sun hits—and boom—free power. The battery kicks in—and boom—I’m basically off-grid royalty. I’ve caught myself staring at the app like it’s Netflix, just watching those sweet, sweet numbers roll in.
There’s a strange kind of joy in knowing your kettle, your TV, your whole setup is running off sunshine you collected earlier like some sort of energy hoarder. Honestly, I half expected a cape to appear on my shoulders.
And the peace of mind? Massive. No stress about outages, no stress about bills creeping up—just quiet confidence and a smug little grin every time I think about it. My only regret is not doing it sooner.
All up, between the rain-soaked install, the top-tier crew, and the absolute weapon of a system now sitting at my place I couldn’t be happier.
10/10. Would install again (but thankfully don’t need to).
If you’re on the fence get off it. Do it. Future you will thank you.

Fantastic installer and amazing system
Just want to shout out to Jon, Ash, Andy and the boys fron Adelaide Solarsafe.Amazing customer service. They were one of the few people doing quotes that actually visited the property to make sure everything was correct with their quote before submitting it to me.
The installation was superb. The team were on time at 8:00am, very tidy and polite. They worked their collective butts off for over 8 hours on the installation, ensuring that all wiring was concealed, hard wired cabling instead of just wireless comms etc.
Even though they encountered some unexpected difficulties in finding cable paths, they didn't give up and eventually sorted everything. Hand-over and customer testing including system power outage and islanding worked first time. They even integrated my existing AC solar system without any problems, and demostrated the off-grid charging was fully operational.
As you can see, I cannot say enough good things about this team. Don't use anyone else. Amazing service.

Powerwall 3 with micro inverters
Seem less process from start to finish. Great installers and everything works from the start even with my house having 2 different brands of micro inverters. Still charges from solar when going off grid15 November 2025
Recommended Installer
Adelaide Solarsafe visited site and explained how and where the system elements would be installed. They also explained how time of use energy tariffs worked and how to minimise costs.The installation date was confirmed several weeks before and the installers arrived as promised on the agreed date and completed the installation in one day. Being an older home with an extension there were some installation issues which they quickly addressed. The completed installation was very neat and tidy and the site was left clean and tidy.
The installation crew were very polite and ensured I had the mySigen App loaded and I understood the basics before they left.
As a retired electrical engineer I would certainly recommend Adelaide Solarsafe to anyone considering installing a solar system.

An excellent experience...
Initial meeting and subsequent discussions regarding the design and installation of a battery for our existing solar system reassured us that we were dealing with an experienced and honest company. We have particular energy needs and SolarSafe took these requirements into account when designing the solution.On the day of the installation the work was done without fuss, The team was punctual, very polite and were all too happy to answer any of our questions. When works had been completed the site was left very clean. The handover process was thorough and conducted at a pace that I found comfortable.
All in all we were very happy with the solution and its installation.

Overall very good experience
The sales person was thorough and professional, as well as informative and responsive to questions. He brought a drone and used it to view the existing solar array on the roof, enabling him to better advise on feasibility of expansion. He also provided detailed, plain English explanations of different options and approaches to battery addition. These included the implications for future household power use and power provider plans to best match battery plus solar option(s). He inspected our property to see where we thought the battery and related system pieces would go and offered his opinions. Those resulted in a couple of minor changes - both for the better.He provided detailed quotations within a week and they clearly had been designed with our specific situation in mind - not based on a template with cut and pasted changes.
We were able to get the installation scheduled for our preferred date, which was 2 months away. The installers arrived promptly on the specified morning, but not too early. They were polite and efficient. We were able to carry on our normal routine with only a short power interruption in the early afternoon (~90 minutes). They gave us plenty of warning and were happy to fit the power cut around our needs.
The installation was scheduled to take 2 days but the team were finished in 1 day. Locating battery and system components followed the plan discussed with the salesperson and resulted in an easier installation, according to the leading hand.
Once installed, they took us through the app installation and briefed us on its use. That went as well as could be expected and teh app is pretty well designed. I am finding it more accessible and useable than most such tools. They also briefed us on the components of the system and the procedures involved in switching them on and off, isolating parts of the system, etc. They performed a backup test by switching off the grid supply and the battery continued power supply seamlessly. They also tested the AC charger installed for use with our electric vehicle, to determine the maximum charging power available.
Overall, our experience has been excellent, from quoting through to installation. We hope our ongoing experience using the system will be similarly excellent.

Very knowledgable and everything was easy and courteous. A pleasure to deal with. 6.6kW in 17 Jinko panels, 10 North, 4 West, and 3 East. It caps out at 5kW limit from about 10:30am through to 4:00pm on clear days during November, and fully covers an electric kettle by 8:30am10 months later we asked Chris: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Great system, easy install
Andy came out to the house to view the location of the panels and inverter and then provided excellent advice and a comprehensive quote.Install was a breeze, team turned up on time, installed the system exactly as quoted, cleaned up, removed all packaging and explained how to use the system using the app.
Had the system for a couple of months now and we are very pleased with the performance. Been able to charge the EV totally from solar since the system was fitted and that is during the winter months.
Very much recommend Adelaide Solarsafe for an excellent system and install.

SigEnergy Home Solar and Battery Upgrade - No regrets
We recently upgraded our aging rooftop solar system to a new SigEnergy Solar (16kw) and Battery (24kw) system with Adelaide Solar Safe.We had reservations about the price and return on investment. However, now the system is installed, we are very happy with the amount of energy generated, and available to use during peak energy price periods. We have significantly reduced our reliance on the grid, and now have the capacity to charge a PHEV.
The team at Adelaide Solar Safe were very helpful in discussing the installation package recommended for our needs. The installation team were very communicative in planning installation dates, explaining system details and use, and how to use of the SigEnergy Phone App.
The installation was done very efficiently and neatly and the site was left spotless after completion.
We are very happy with the entire process and final product.

Good Installation
Sales/quoting process: I felt this was good and informative. There was a reasonable amount of flexibility as my response was not made within the time limit of the quote.The installers were punctual and polite. While the possibility of damage to quite a few roof tiles was advised very few were damaged. Finally, there was no post installation mess.

SolarSafe - a great solar installer
It was a pleasure dealing with SolarSafe, from initially meeting Andy to discuss our requirements to farewelling the installation team from our home.At our first meeting to discuss our requirements, Andy was not only good at providing excellent practical advice, but also very good at listening to my questions and requests. He was quick, but thoughtful in recommending a system to suit our needs and budget along with the practical aspect of limited roof space and location due to local council heritage regulations. The fact that SolarSafe had done previous installations in our suburb gave peace of mind.
Come the day of installation, the team arrived at a practical time and all were very courteous. They worked very well and efficiently together. The installation progressed well despite some cavity wall access issues, which were resolved with persistence and without fuss.
The team showed great attention to detail, including roof and site clean-up of any mess.
Team leader, Laurence gave a clear demonstration and instruction of how the system worked and guided me through installing the app to monitor the system on my mobile phone. Additionally, he advised me of the next steps in contacting our energy retailer to complete the process. All up, the entire installation was completed before midday.
Overall, I was very pleased and impressed with the SolarSafe experience.

Top class installation from a quality Company.
Quote process was easy to understand. I already had an existing working 5Kw system and wanted extra panels, Inverter upgrade and Battery to 10Kw. Andy explained everything from his many years of solar installations. Installers arrived on time and a pleasure to deal with. They explained where everything would go, and kept me up to date with the total installation. The Inverter, panels and battery were placed exactly where I wanted them while still being within the Regulations requirements. Work was first class and they cleaned up everything. Explained the App update and the blackout procedure with our choice of light and power that would still operate with power shutdown. Couldn't be happier with the whole process. Works just like I wanted
All participants, starting with the sales chap were great to interact with and their communication was excellent and prompt.The install was delayed by 2 months due to an approval from the CEC taking way too long. Apparently, this affected the whole industry who were wanting to install some SigEnergy products. But when the approval came, the install was commenced within days. It only took 2 days from start to finish. Commissioning was super fast and hassle free.
There are some minor questions I have about the system interfacing with my generator but I'm sure they will be addressed fairly quickly. I think Sig will be the ones to help here.
The crew who did the install were excellent. So much so, that they even got out the day before they expected to !
Worked in a neat and tidy way and were very polite and appeared well committed to the job in hand. Good guys. Many thanks.

A system to futureproof our energy supply installed with no issues
I have been very impressed with Adelaide SolarSafe's professionalism, attention to detail and customer focus. Right from the very start when I contacted Andy (I had been given his number by a friend who too had received great service) through the follow up by Ash after installation I have been very happy with the personal touch and knowledgable support I have received in upgrading my solar system to provide for battery storage for now and well into the future.This ESS will allow me (and particularly my wife) to switch on the washing machine, dishwasher, oven outside of the solar sponge/shoulder period without worrying about a horrendous electricity bill at the end of the month - and it is all coming from green energy!

Amazing Team from Start to Finish
Andy was fantastic to deal with upfront, reviewing our power needs and recommending the most optimal system for our home.On the day of installation, the installers were all polite and did a great job. Did a great job cleaning up also.
I have had dealings post install with Andy and Ash in assisting me upgrading our meter to a smart meter with Origin. Have been a delight throughout the whole process.

After a detailed Consultation now Future Proofing
Andy took the time to explain many facets of how I use my electricity to save money, future proofing by investing now to save money as electricity bills are only going to increase. The team of installers were polite, on time, provided additional advice and cleaned up after themselves. We chose to install not just a Solar Battery but a Solar Water Pump as well. Quality service
The entire experience is with Adelaide SolarSafe was professional and helpful, right down to details about the best fixings for my roof. Small details like an actual roof inspection rather than google provide confidence. Mine was a relatively small and straight forward installation but the team treated me and the work with the same as attention to detail I would expect of larger jobs. A good company

Professional and competitive pricing
Professional approach by Andy taking time to ask me what my needs were, listening and advising accordingly. He was competitive in pricing and his team installed the battery ahead of schedule, going out of his way to meet my needs. The team also uninstalled the existing failed LG system as part of their service. At no charge, Andy additionally provided a drone review with pictures of my solar panels to ensure all was healthy on the roof.Battery rating: 5/5

The solaredge system works well, however it is not mentioned that there is zero accessibility to inverter function as a system owner. It isn't possible to load shift, and as an owner you are not given admin access to the system.
No regrets about Adelaide Solar Safe, would use them again, but in hindsight, would not recommend Solaredge unless you are happy with bare functionality and no ability to control your system.

Initial consult was friendly and informative, assessing my energy usage.Installation on day scheduled, polite trades.
Disappointed that installers left heaps of scrap (wire, metal parts, screws) on the roof and in gutter. Reported it and it was dealt with appropriately some days after and got apology.
Happy with the app to monitor system.

Andy Turner provided a very good quotation and explained ways for us to maximise the benefits of having a solar system. His workers did an excellent job of installing a high quality system, they were helpful and polite, they cleaned up well after the job and the electrician took the time to help us install and understand the monitoring app. No hesitation in recommending Adelaide SolarSafe to others considering the switch to solar power. Excellent from start to finish
Sales were informative & happy to answer all questions over a few week period, without being pushy.It was not the cheapest, but seemed comparable to other quotes received for similar quality.
Once I signed up, installation proceeded quickly on date advised.
Installers were punctual, very polite & left the area clean & tidy.
All paperwork was completed for us, including grid connection & advice given re the solar app. This was super easy to have up & running & love that we can see what is being generated v output etc.
Would be happy to recommend Adelaide Solarsafe at this early stage!

Smooth Tidy Installation
Andy attended on time to inspect and quote.He was thorough and took time to understand our site and requirements.
Explanations of the options were clear, with an ability to dig in deeper where I wanted to.
The installation team arrived on time, were well presented, took time to introduce themselves and worked in an organised manner. The installation was performed to a high standard, respectful of the property (1920's bungalow) and the site was left clean and tidy (i.e. no packaging, no offcuts, no drilling dust etc.)
All documentation was completed and submitted.
I think you would struggle to find anyone who could perform the job better. Worth every penny in my opinion.

No problem recommending Adelaide Solarsafe
Detailed sales and quotation process, polite, punctual and complete in 1 day rather than 2. System was working when they left, All I had to do was install a smart meter and get system reset. Only issue was flexible export was too low but that was a SAPN problem. A dedicated Adelaide Solarsafe resource was available to sort or assist with any post install issues
Fronius Reserva Battery added
This work was to add a Home Battery to an existing solar system.Adelaide SolarSafe came to site where we discussed adding a home battery to an existing Fronius system.
Battery options (band and size) were discussed. Location for battery were discussed
Quote provided.
Installation was a couple of months away due to high demand, but I was happy to wait to get the right system installed by the right people.
System is now installed and working fine (so far). Solarsafe team were polite and efficient. Left the site very clean.
Before leaving they demonstrated the system (not much to show to be honest) and tested the backup circuits.
