Great company highly recommended!

From start to finish everything was fantastic from the quote to the advice, I knew CSP was the one to pick.
Michael is very knowledgeable and picked the right system for my needs and even gave advice on what electricity plan to use.
Tom and crew did a fantastic job of installing more panels and a 28kw battery.
My bills have been in credit for the last quarter.

A great experience - would recommend to anyone

Quoting process was great - no pressure tactics and Michael worked with me to find the right solution for the particular requirements of my house. He proposed a few different options and worked with me to find the perfect fit.

All the admin for rebates and grid connection was done for me; I didn't have to do a thing.

Installation was great and was scheduled sooner than I expected - I waited less than two weeks after signing the contract. The Sigenstor system was installed professionally with excellent cable management; and it all was integrated effectively with my existing solar panels.

The guys showed me how to use the app and charger on the day. Afterwards I had a few issues getting the charger to cooperate with my BYD but the after-sale support team worked with me and Sigenergy to get the right settings and it all works a treat now.

Great service and quality installation

I called for a quote and the sales team helped me choose a system to fit my needs and budget.

The installation team was fast, communicated well, and were effective at problem solving. They set up the system and the software. Very little effort was required from my end.

Professional service with installation of my solar system

Team arrived on time with a courtesy call before arrival. All area were cleaned before leaning and explained the information for the switching on and off of the battery with personal safety for the family, Also would like to thank George who made a personal visit to explain the installation process, use of equipment and workmanship which has been completed very well. Great team to work with from the initial email to quote and installation. Thanks Pat

Great service from start to finish

Custom Solar Power responded quickly and arranged a home inspection straight away. Michael arrived well-prepared with all the details about my existing solar setup and explained how a solar battery would work, keeping it simple, which I really appreciated, as I find the technical specs very overwhelming. Communication was great throughout, and I was kept up to date with the installation schedule. The team was punctual, tidy, and did a very neat job. They also showed me how to use the charger in an easy-to-understand way. Very happy with the service, professional, efficient, and friendly! Original ratings

10 months later we asked Bronnie: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

It's now been a year since I had my battery installed, & while I'm definitely not very technical when it comes to solar & batteries, I'm happy to say everything has been working well so far. I haven't had any issues with the system & everything seems to be managed well through Amber, my energy provider. As far as I can tell, the system has performed as I expected & I'm happy with how things are going. The only problem I had was right at the beginning when the battery wasn't connecting to Amber. There was quite a bit of frustration & emailing back & forth trying to work out what was wrong! Eventually, I asked if I needed WiFi at home, & it turned out that yes, I did. I hadn't realised this, so I then had to arrange to have NBN connected to my home. Since getting that sorted, I haven't had any further issues & everything has been running smoothly!

Highly recommended installer

I would definitely recommend CSP to anyone.

Excellent informative and accurate sale & followup and installation. Some minor (positioning, space to for 6th battery module not great & installed one less panel than quoted but did not consult with me for reason or potential solutions) installation issues that would have been eliminated with more attentive consulting with me before acting, otherwise tidy, punctual & good communication. Also I wasn’t aware the max 5kW standard single phase discharge to grid, which is forcing me to manually limit charging rate in order to optimise solar production, to remedy I have had CSP submit a dynamic connection request to Energex, which should increase this to 10kW.

Amazing and trustworthy company!!

The team at Custom Solar Power were amazing from the initial contact to the final installation. Every step of the process we felt heard and our questions were answered in a timely and friendly manner.

The install day went smooth, with the team arriving on time and delivering a high quality install taking the time and effort to make sure everything was 100% right. They explained how the system worked and stepped through all the required safety steps to stop and start the system and again taking time to ensure it was clear and understood.

I would highly recommend Custom Solar Power for any future needs you may have.

Great battery solution for my existing 5 kW solar system

CSP Solar installed a 40 kWh FoxESS battery system and new inverter that tied in with my existing 5 kW solar system. I found CSP Solar to be professional, provided a quick turn around on the installation and delivered a great product.

CSP helped with working out the best location for the batteries (they are located in a small shed, protected and out of the way). The CSP team were efficient and installed the system without any issues.

I find the new FoxESS system to work well, the App is great in understanding how the system behaves. The battery soaks up all the excess solar and I find a noticeable improvement to the monthly energy bills.

The only reason for 4 out of 5 on customer service was the recommendation to run with Amber as an energy retailer. I've found Amber to be unsupported, with SmartShift dropping out frequently and very unreliable. Ambers unreliability costs me money as power is drawn from the grid during high demand periods (the whole idea around getting batteries). I want to stress this is obviously not CSP's fault - however I think there could have been more upfront discussion about Amber and perhaps recommendations around other energy suppliers. I'm in the process of shifting from Amber to another retailer that offers 4 hours of free energy which should align better with how I want to operate the system.

Overall - very happy with CSP and would recommend them.

Straight to the point and delivered exactly what was discussed plus more

Zaren and his team are passionate about what they do. From the 1st call to the final hand shake, they couldnt be anymore professional. Solar and Battery power is massive investment and these guys gave me the confidence it's the right decision. Just brought a BYD Seal EV and I'm enjoying the free travelling.

Great service, exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff

The quoting of our battery and panels was excellent, everything was explained in plain English so we understood everything.
Installation went without a hitch, very quick and efficient. The guys were on time and were polite and very clean.
Showed us how to read the meter/batteries etc. How to switch on/off if we have a blackout.

Excellent experience, great investment

Every question answered in detail, various options provided with full costings and explanations.
Installation was quick efficient, on time, and looks great.
Everything was explained in full and they have been helpful since with any follow up enquiries as well.
All up very happy.
Value will play out over time, as this was a big investment.
We already had solar panels and an inverter which had to be replaced for this battery install.

Great process - Very professional installation

Custom Solar Power (CSP) performed a Three Phase upgrade and installation of 4.6kW solar, 2 x Sungrow SBR256 25kWh batteries, and 2 x Sungrow SBH15T 15kW Three Phase inverters. The system provides whole of house backup. The inverters are managed with a Sungrow Logger 1000. The installation also included a Powston controller (CSP name this CSP Power Trader) to enable automatic control of the system for use on a retailer such as Amber or Local Volts.

Whole process was great, including quoting, design, installation and post install support. I was originally after the SBH series but due to availability CSP recommended changing to SBR series to ensure the full battery rebate was received.

Energex rescheduled their work twice and CSP worked around this for me to ensure the system was installed before the battery rebate reduced.

There was some cabling installed incorrectly initially but that was a result of not having the three phase power available when the system was installed and it was promptly rectified.

System is operating very well - Looking forward to earning some more $$ credit with this system and local volts. (Unfortunately the forecast $20,000/MWh spike predicted for day 1 of the system didn't eventuate but looking forward to charging for cheap (or negative) during the day and capturing those price spikes in the future.)

Great value and support

I was referred to CSP by a friend and was not disappointed. The process from quote to installation went without a problem. My system is working perfectly and doing what I was advised it would. You won’t be disappointed if you go with CSP.

More expensive but worth it

Custom Solar Power was great from start to finish. Zaren was more than happy to answer all my questions about the system without a fuss.

You can get a cheaper install elsewhere but you'll pay for it in half a decade. The installation was phenomenal, extremely clean and tidy and really quick considering everything.

I'd recommend these lads to anybody if you want a premium install and peace of mind.

Enthusiastic and Committeed to Service

Cant give CSP team enough praise, best quoting process, best quote, best installation, best after installation customer service.
All CSP staff are enthusiastic and committed to providing the best product and service to support your energy needs. I had additional solar panels and battery installed, they were punctual, quick, neat and happy to show me how my system worked.
The CSP developed software to assist with selling power to the grid is exceptional. Their support with my learning curve was and is highly admirable.
