Solid, reliable, value for money
I used Empire Solar before, came to know them through a warranty inverter replacement for another company.I subsequently used them to install a PW2 shortly after in November 2024, and recently asked them to quote for additional solar panels and EV charger install plus a switchboard upgrade. They provided me with a competitive quote, were responsive to my questions (there were a few) and adjusted the number of panels after discussion of options.
They installed an additional 6.1kW panel string with the same type of Goodwe inverter on my roof. Works great. Also told me about part of my roof needing repointing soon, which I appreciated.
Installed EV charger and 15amp socket in carport and cleaned up/upgraded the switchboard while at it.
Great work, lovely guys, reliable and friendly.

Installer Empire Solar
Installation date met June 9 installed over 2 days. I paid the balance within 48 hours .
However the job was not completed. They were unable to set up APP as my WIFi did not extend to the batteries.. I purchased a booster WIFi and informed Empire Solar within 48 hours
. Its nearly 1 month and the APP is not installed despite 2 follow ups. The last request was email dated
July 3 without reply .
No other issues, the boys were polite and Ben explained things.

Professional from quote to installation
Great guys - all the way from the in home quote to installation. All customer service questions were answered quickly and even last minute adjustments to panel placement to ensure maximum panel efficiency were greatly appreciated

Th whole process was easy, accurate and professional. Empire Solar installers arrived on time, were very professional, left the area tidy and explained the systems operation in a way that made it easy to understand. They were very considerate in the location of the battery. A 5 Star experience. Highly recommended.Inverter rating: 5/5
