Would definitely not recommend

Paid top dollar, received subpar service. I wish salesman would have told me that a 10KW/H system will only make 8KW/H max and only for about an hour a day in perfect conditions, otherwise it does make a constant 5KW/H all day long. Customer service is non existent, I had an issue with installation was treated poorly because i complained. Never received any paper work regarding anything to do with the system i.e. inverter, panels, even after asking more than once. I would avoid especially if you are unlucky enough to have any issues.

We're sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. In the two years since your installation, our team has been available to discuss any issues, but we don't have a record of you reaching out in the interim. Since receiving your review, we've checked your solar monitoring and noted that it doesn't appear to be showing your current consumption. If you contact us, we can visit your location to assess the monitoring and ensure it's working correctly.
To clarify a few technical points: your system uses an 8.5kW inverter, and the amount of solar generated throughout the day will peak at midday and vary based on roof positioning, direction, weather, and other factors. Oversizing the inverter relative to the panels is standard industry practice and is something our team explains during the sales process to ensure you receive the most from your system across varying conditions. Your system also has a 5kW export limit, as set by Ergon's grid requirements. In regards to the GoodWe inverter, there was a manufacturing issue with the AC clip that affected a number of units across the industry. As soon as the compliant part was made available by the manufacturer, our team returned to site to rectify it. We understand you felt communication fell short at the time, and as a gesture of goodwill, we upgraded your smart meter to a Catch Control in 2023 at no additional charge. Our owner also personally reached out and our team visited the site to work through issues raised at the time. Handover documentation including your inverter and panel details should have been emailed to you; if you didn't receive these, please contact us directly and we'll resend them. We take every piece of feedback seriously and we'd welcome the chance to have a conversation about any ongoing concerns.
