Solar Plus Electrical is a CEC Accredited Retailer and trusted CEC Accredited installers.
Solar is our specialty! There is no one system that fits all at Solar Plus Electrical. We ensure that your system recommendations, and design are specific to YOUR needs. Solar Plus Electrical will conduct a site inspection prior to our experienced Solar consultants providing you with a quote, to ensure that every detail is taken into account.
We only use industry leading premium products sourced from reputable, and global manufacturers of solar equipment, with an extensive technical support service network in Australia.
The most important part of a Solar System is the installation, and the Solar Plus Electrical team are industry leading Master Electricians, CEC Accredited and Licensed Electrical Contractors ensuring that you get a SAFE and effective installation. We provide you with an Electrical Certificate of Compliance on completion of the installation, and an industry leading 10-year workmanship warranty.
We ensure that all monitoring is set up on the day of installation, and continue to be a point of contact well after your Solar system is installed. Solar Plus Electrical is your solar partner.

Battery, charger pack
Sales and quotes were answered promptly, I got several diff quotes for diff size systems then changes within those quotes each time was handled promptly and professionally.Installation was completely hassle free after initial site inspection instillation was organised within a week. Day of installation crew arrived on time, answered any questions I had, when completed I was shown how the app works and anything else I may need. Garage was left cleaner than when they arrived

Easy process
From initial contact the process was easy, friendly and professional. quick quote offering alternatives and good pricing for a quality system. After selection, a quick on-site inspection to confirm and explain location of the battery. Required deposit was lower than expected and I was advised that the battery could be expected at the end of the month.Contacted by the office staff to complete all the paperwork for the installation and rebate. Easy!
Installation was quicker than expected and the tradesmen turned up exactly as planned and completed a very professional installation and arranged for the electrical inspector to visit next day.
Battery is now charging.
10 months later we asked John: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system has now been running 12 months. It gives me all the data and for about 8 months the system reduced actual consumption to minimal except on multiple cloudy days. Over a Melbourne winter it reduces consumption considerable and I am not sure that a larger array would be justifiable.15 July 2026

Every things works as expected
The quoting stage was very well handled and clarified some of my misconceptions giving me confidence to move ahead. The installation was right on time but challenged by weather leaving a couple of aspects that I was not completely satisfied with. Customer service follow up on that though was enthusiastic, timely and the minor rectifications completed without delay and as requested.Everything was pretty well explained and the software interface is so easy to monitor all aspects that it has been a joy to start to generate and store electricity.
10 months later we asked Rowan: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
It delivers every bit of the nominal power available and the battery/inverter combo work seamlessly. During the first spring we watched everything obsessively but when summer comes and it looks after itself mostly you get used to the system and really start to forget about it. There is still lots of benefit in scheduling high energy loads when the sun is up and charging the EV based on either excess solar or on lower tariff times in winter. These days in the middle of winter we just put the heater on when we want even though the battery might be down to 20 % and we need to use grid power. As soon as the days get longer and the days are warmer we know that the system will be virtually free from early spring to late autumn. We had two power outages on the grid late last year and of course a great benefit of the set up is the automatic switch over to the battery backup for Fridge and essentials. This set up also means holiday travel has one more level of safe back up incase there was power out while we are away.Like owning an BEV, once you have solar and battery backup you could not go back to the old world!

Could not be happier
Communication for quote and the following installation process was excellent.Their tradespeople were of the highest quality and even cleaned up all of their mess afterwards (very rare these days!).
I would have no hesitation recommending SolarPlus Electrical for battery and/or solar panel installation.

Great Team and Easy Install of my New Battery
I was impressed with Solar Plus Electrical from the start, they were thorough with the quoting process and unlike a lot of other installers, actually sent someone out to inspect the site properly before install to ensure the desired battery location was suitable.The quote provided was very reasonable and measured favourably against others I'd received from different providers.
On the day, the installers were on time, friendly, happy to answer my questions, and got the job done in a couple of hours.
No issues so far and the system has been in for almost a month.
I've deducted 1 star for customer service only because I had a lot of difficultly getting in touch with the office in the days leading up to the installation to confirm details, they did eventually get back to me.
Would absolutely recommend Solar Plus Electrical for anyone looking to have a battery installed.

Excellent product, after-sale service somewhat lacking
The system is excellent. Installation went well, extremely impressed with electrician and assistant on-site. Query re same-day payment was not answered, so I paid, after which my queries (mainly re breaker on switchboard flicking off when cooking) went largely unanswered. Follow-up visit didn't happen, so had to get my local electrician to resolve issue.Battery rating: 5/5

Fantastic installer and friendly responsive service
The installation team arrived at appointed time in the morning and completed around noon. As I was out of town on the day, on behalf of me, my son asked a few questions about installation and operation, and Aaron answered comprehensively all the questions. A couple days later I posted a few more monitoring and operational questions to Aaron, again he responded promptly and addressed all my concerns and provided constructive comments. The next day Aaron called back and made sure I was satisfied of all the points I raised. In my opinion, Aaron's installation team and after-service are first rate!18 November 2025

Smooth install experience.
I got several quotes and did a lot of research before deciding on an installer. These guys were really helpful and responsive to my many questions and I think their suggestions of a system really matched my requirements. After the quote the site inspection identified everything required for install and no additional charger occurred. The install happened quickly after I paid the deposit and a day after the stock landed it was installed. I really wanted to make the most of the 2025 rebates and not loose due to getting it installed the following year. I was a bit unclear of the procedure post installation and think a pdf listing the process would help other future clients.Battery rating: 5/5
Goodwe ESA Installation
Solar Plus Electrical did a great job installing my Goodwe ESA battery. They were punctual, polite, and tidy. However, post-install system configuration was lacking. Navigating the SEMS+ app is complex, and the installers offered no assistance. As an IT professional, it still took me some time to figure out. The average user would really struggle to optimise it for their energy plan. Aside from the poor app support, I highly recommend them.Battery rating: 4/5
