At Stag Electrical, we're a family-owned business that's been around since 2007. Our team of dedicated professionals has over 15 years of experience providing quality installations to our customers.

Our managing director, Sam Friend, has worked hard to grow our business to where it is today. Over the years, we've gotten better at what we do to make sure we have a strong base and a bright future for many years to come.

Great team at Stag! Quotes were great and Rhys took time to explain what was being offered and answered all my questions. Installation was a breeze, Tony and crew did a fantastic job and walked me through how things worked. Solar up and running. A great team would highly recommend.

Honest and good solar company

I found the whole process of getting solar a daunting task, but Rhys who was the sales guy for Stag was very clear, no bullshit and was very upfront and honest about the whole process. Some other companies I talked with were not totally honest about some things I asked!

The installation was organised around my availability and everyone turned up on time and worked solidly throughout the day. Everything was complete within the day! All the guys working on this were super friendly and polite and Adam who managed the install was very patient in answering my questions.

Overall the process was very smooth with Stag, much easier than I expected. Thoroughly recommend!

Very informative local group , called back on time , explained everything , gave us plenty of options was extremely polite and the whole team worked like clock work cleaned up showed us how it works

Mitch was amazing , booked my phone call to talk about quotes , extremely informative .. my husband didn’t want solar on the roof , Chris our installer managed to confince him to not have it on the shed and the more productivity we would get out of our solar system , everything was extremely professional and informative , options were provided without being pushed into anything we were not confident with , I liked that they were local boys rather then commercial companies with quick solar selling , the inverter system was absolute immaculate.

Honest, prompt and Diligent Professionals

We have found the initial contact and detailed information provided by Stag to be professional and informative and that allowed us to make an informed decision to go ahead after having some reservations. When we had questions we were given answers and provided with more clarification and this gave us confidence to proceed! The installation happened very promptly and took only 1 day. Installers arrived on time and completed the job to an extremely high standard. Very friendly, gave instruction on the unit and site was left clean and tidy. Assistance with the grid connection the next day.

Fantastic all round experience

Sales was very considerate and helpful. We pondered on a system for some time and Mitch was helpful and understanding.

Quality install, great service.

Not the cheapest quote I got but I knew what I was getting with the finished product, installation and I’m sure post install service if needed. The black racking looks really nice on our black roof too.
They knocked a bit extra off if I could fit them in to come the next week and even fitted a few lights for me while they were there.

Excellent Off Grid installation

Our old off grid system failed and needed replacement. We also wanted to install an air conditioner. We looked for quotes from several companies both local and national. Some were outrageous, some off the shelf solutions were not suited to our needs and most had a really long lead time from 2 - 3 months to get installed.
The only company that came to our property to assess our needs and our property was Stag Electrical Solar and Refrigeration. Communication with us during the quoting process was highly efficient and professional. The company seemed like a well oiled machine their internal communication processes also seemed very efficient and professional. The proposal/quote for our new system was professional and (from my research) met the industry standard of information that should be delivered, others did not match this depth of information.
A new off grid system that met our current and future needs was discussed, designed and installed within one week of our accepting the quote.
Installation of the off grid system and air conditioner occurred over two days the teams were on time and worked solidly both days. Our system is unobtrusive, compact and uncomplicated. Orientation/education of the new system was thorough leaving feeling very confident with it.
We were extremely impressed with the levels of service, knowledge and professionalism of Stag Electrical Solar and Refrigeration. Highly recommended. (the photo's were taken during the installation)

Prompt and communicative.

It's only been installed for a week but as far as dealing with Stag they have been reliable and had great communication. The service was prompt and the installers were polite and conscious of household members working from home. They cleaned up after themselves and spent the time to explain the system and functions upon completion. Very happy with their performance and presentation.

Fantastic Installers

Firstly, the quoting/sales system is impressive it was done in real time over the phone, sending necessary information through MMS etc.
The installers clearly new their stuff and the installation done very soon after the agreement. They had no trouble navigating the very old building. They were also very pleasant and friendly.
Currently waiting for the meter to be upgraded which Stag initiated then they will return to complete the grid connection and the installers were more than happy to return and show me how the system operates and navigating the LED panel on the inverter.

Very fast from ordering to install

The whole team at Stag were great. They explained why they recommended the products and even provided examples of their own staff using them. I was booked in super quick and the whole system was installed in a day. End to End the process was less than a week.

Great process, responsive and helpful team

The whole process, from quoting to installation, went well. While a few issues specific to the site arose, these were sorted out quickly and effectively and I felt included in the decision making process. The installation team arrived on time, were friendly and polite, and cleaned up at the end. I was shown how to use the app on the inverter, and the EV charger, and was encouraged to ask for help if and when needed.

Top job, professional team.

Right from the beginning, the team from Stag have done an outstanding job of communicating with me. They made sure the Solar system designed was the best fit for my requirements, and the install team have always made sure I'm across everything that's going on.
They have been very flexible to work in with me so that the install fit with other work I was having done at the same time.

I couldn't be happier with the system they they've built, nor with the exemplary service provided.

Very happy

We studied various quotes and had a long debate. Stag was not the cheapest but we were impressed by their reputation/reviews and were able to negotiate slightly on price. Installation crew were fantastic, consultative, responsive and hard working - on the first day they arrived at 8am and left in the dark at 6pm! Original ratings

Excellent experience

Very quick response to quite request, used a great system to schedule phone call. Spent a lot of time ensuring I understood the process, requirements, and what to look for even if I chose not to proceed with Stag.
The quote was easy to understand and whilst the most expensive, demonstrated the best value for us.
Install happened very quickly, and even with rain delays was all done well - with clear and regular communication.
Crews were very polite, site was left clean and the system itself was explained in detail. Great service!

From the start, dealing with Stag Electrical was easy, they were quick to respond to quotes and information, and I found them to continue their exemplary service throughout the whole process. Excellent customer service, as well as professional installation. They took the time to fully and clearly explain the system once they had completed the installation. For our household needs, they were spot on in the recommendation for the type of system required. I would thoroughly recommend them (and already have) to anyone requiring a fully professional service.

Seamless Install

Our overall experience was pretty good, particularly around the installation of the system. The team that completed this task were on site early and were very efficient, consulting throughout the process. They were only too willing to move furniture etc in the garage in order to install the inverter where it was best suited. They tidied up pretty well afterwards too.
The extra details, such as organising a new smart meter etc were also taken care of.
The only downside I would comment on, was that the sales team were overly persistent, verging on almost being pushy. It very nearly pushed me towards another installer.

Exceptional service!

Service was exceptional from beginning to end. The first phone consult was taken seriously. The team took the time to go through each option and were really clear with costs involved and benefits with each option. I didn’t feel pressured at all and it was clear that they understood what we needed. They were on time and prompt with installation and were super tidy with the clean up afterwards. The communication was paramount and there were no issues with communication through the whole process. We are extremely happy with the service and highly recommend them to family and friends!

Very prompt and great communication.

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and communication from the very first phone call right through to the end of the installation process.
At the beginning I spoke to Daniel on the phone. We discussed my issues and why I was looking at this option for my house. He was wonderful in helping me find the best option for me and at the best price. He didn't try to make me choose something outside my budget range which is a real plus!!
Once I had signed off on the proposal and agreed to the terms Stag had electricians at my house the next working day. I said yes on Friday and the workmen were at my house on Monday.
This was extremely prompt and efficient. The workmen were absolutely fantastic, discussed and explained everything thoroughly and even rang me to discuss changes to panel placements they felt would be beneficial.

I'd use Stag for all of my electrical needs in the future. Their ability to be punctual, efficient, clean and communicative are all qualities that made my process easy and enjoyable.

Fantastic Solar Installer

From the very first phone call to the end product of the installation of my solar, the whole process has been seamless with Stag Electrical Solar and Refrigeration.
Everyone from the admin staff Hannah to the tradies like Jesse, have been exceptionally professional, highly knowledgeable, and very courteous.
They arrived on time, kept everything clean and tidy whilst they were working.
I was asked in the morning exactly how much sun I get at the front and back of the property. Realising that it is more of a 50/50 split, I was asked if they could redo the design to get a more even split with the panels. Which I was more than happy to OK.
I cannot recommend them high enough for your solar needs.
I know they do other electricial work, I don't presently have any further work that needs doing however, they will be the first phone call when I do.

Great company to be involved with

The whole process was hassle free and easy to negotiate, from talking about the quote, the girls in the office explaining how to pay the deposit and then the balance, the guys installing the system and any follow up stuff. they even gave us a courteous call, weeks later, to see how things were going with the system. From contacting them to fully installed was a couple of weeks. Friendly staff who were always on site on time. Our installation was one of the larger jobs with a 3 Phase battery connection. I would highly recommend Stag Electrical for solar installations.

Seamless installation

Sales and quoting process was straightforward and easy to understand, questions were answered quickly.
Installation was very efficient and professional. The guys arrived on time and were super polite. All panels and the battery were installed in one day and the guys cleaned up all materials and left my home exactly how they had found it. I am really happy with the install. Sungrow battery was installed outside which was a positive for me as it didn't take up space in my garage.

Sales quoting process was good. Unfortunately follow up communication wasn’t as I had to call them twice based on the expected delivery timeframe they had given me. Better to under promise and over deliver rather than other way around. Install was also very good and I would be happy to recommend them for your solar install.

Great quote punctuality and installation. The team did a great job installing and cleaning up when done would not even of know there was any work done recently.
Dan went above and beyond explaining the system and even drew up a diagram on how the whole systems works.

My solar panel installation

Stag Electrical Solar and Refrigeration were the 1st company recommended by Solar Quotes to make contact with me. It was initially by email, but was followed up shortly afterwards by phone. The email requested that I complete a survey and the call was scheduled after it had been submitted. The call with Chris was very informative and it was agreed that Stag would prepare a solar panel proposal remotely, as they were a two hour drive away. The proposal was emailed to me on the same day. It contained pricing for two possible systems: a 10kW system and a system as big as the roof would allow. This ended up being about 13kWs. Chris further stated that, if and when I accepted, they could install the system quite promptly. The system they quoted used components from the entry level side of Solar Quotes’ matrix of quality components, but Chris was adamant that the components quoted were excellent value for money. They also had excellent warranties. Solar Quotes later confirmed that they held the quoted parts in high regard. As I was still to get the other 2 quotes, I used the wait time to compare the Stag quote with the information on the Solar Quotes web site. Initially, it appeared to have all the necessary information. However, it wasn’t until the other quotes arrived that I found out there were other questions to be asked. Stag responded quickly and Chris was able to clarify and answer my questions without hesitation. After the other quotes arrived, it was quite obvious that Stag had quoted the best materials for the best price. While the quotes varied in design and in the materials to be supplied, Stag ended up being in the middle price wise, with the cheaper quote using inferior components. Once I accepted the Stag quote, Chris was able to arrange for the installation to be done very quickly. The team of tradesmen arrived on time, installed everything within two days, commissioned the system and cleaned up afterwards. I was asked to make contact with my electricity provider in order to ask them to configure the meter for solar power and it was all done. I can now watch an app on my iPad that shows me how the panels are going. Thank you Stag. You’re one of the best installers in the Central West.
