Still waiting for installation
We were very impressed with our first contact with Venergy. The representative was excellent at providing information, answering our questions and evaluating our energy needs to determine the size system we required. Their prices for the components were very competitive. The pre-sale service was the most professional of the four quotes we received. The reviews were also good, so we paid the deposit in November 2025. Venergy dealt with all the documentation required for the rebates and the documentation for (WA) Synergy and Western Power for the installation. They indicated that it would take 8 to 12 weeks from signing to getting a date for installation. I followed up after 14 weeks (March 2026) and was told that the earliest installation would be the end of June 2026! This was because the huge demand for solar panel and battery installations had stretched their installation teams – they were trying to employ more installers to address the backlog.03 April 2026
Finally installed Solar system!
After procrastinating for a number of years, even after reading Finn Peacocks book, I finally bit the bullet, received the quotes and chose Venergy initially on Quality of hardware. Venergy then followed up with timely progress updates and appropriate support/answers to queries, awarding them 10 outa 10 for ease of dealing with and communication!The installers, Cowlec, likewise were great! Timely, professional and friendly, and did a first class fit out . And they still had time after a large fit out, to patiently explain the overall workings of the Solar System and isolar app ! Overall, I’m exceptionally happy with the whole package from start to finish.
Now I’m impatiently waiting for the inspector to check and approve!

Solar Battery Installation
Had solar battery installed. Too early to review performance etc.26 March 2026
Overall good service and workmanship, though needed to be pushed to achieve the agreed timeline.
Quoting process was very good, though changes made due to unforeseen issues were not always covered in subsequent quotes.Installers were very good - no issues at all.
Post-installation assistance has been poor. Minimal explanation of how I can use or connect the Tesla app, how to get the best out of the system, what to do in case of blackout (should be seamless), requirement to power the system down nor troubleshoot issues. The Tesla app is still not working correctly one month post installation.

Totally unimpressed with Venergy
My major concern, and first question back in September was “can you install in 2025” There was honest companies who said no, Venergy said “yes, not a problem”. It was finally installed in February with Venergy blaming the Federal government instead of taking ownership.The two installers did a very neat job and were fantastic. The main installer didn’t show up and then didn’t turn up another 2 times to sign off on the install. It was finally signed off on and we got the bill that day and payment was requested same day. No one took us through the app and how to configure the battery - absolutely zero post sales support. We have no idea how to use the Sungrow app which is not user friendly. Would not recommend Venergy to anybody. We have friend who got a far better deal elsewhere and after seeing their app and how user friendly the Sigenergy app is we have major regret going with Venergy.

Great system for a fair price
The proposal was spot on in terms of what I had expected we would need. There was no unnecessary push to upsell us something we didn't need. Our system was already a bit more expensive, as we needed a 3-phase inverter.We received a lot of good information about the specs, the system, the installation process, rebates etc
The installation guys were very good. Quick, clean, professional.
The only bit that was a bit disappointing was the communication at times, between the sign-up and the installation. Due to the volume of work they had, we had to wait a fair while to get our system, but that was not really communicated until I kept calling up and checking in.
Having said that, I would definitely recommend Venergy and were already thinking of upgrading our system and solar capacity.

I'm happy with the overall service from VEnergy - from sales to installation. The sales person is very knowledgeable and gave good advice and did the extra mile to ensure I made the correct decision. took time to provide many different options
I had an idea of what I wanted but was not sure. we went back and forth exploring what was possible and what was suitable before settling on what met my objectives and budget.They replaced our old solar panels and inverter with this new system. Installers were professional and friendly, cleaning up after themselves.
the panels were installed quickly but there was a long wait on the battery as no stock in the country.
While Venergy said they provided system performance monitoring, this is the one thing we know was unfortunately not provided. We had a fire in the fuse box between the house and street power pole over Christmas holidays. The system stopped exporting to the grid (as expected with no grid connection) and switched into backup mode but nobody at Venergy were aware that this had occurred. For 10 days the system was running 'off-grid' during the summer peak and system monitoring was not effective. While there is nothing I could have done even if I was aware of an issue, it would have been nice to know that this system was in place and working.
The installer did provide some basic instructions on how to use the system but most of the web-ui has been left in the default settings and I don't know what they are for or what it can actually do.
Connecting to my wired LAN was left to me as installer said he only did the wifi config. This connection was pretty easy once I found the instruction manual.
Installers did leave holes in the weatherboard where the old system was removed from so I'll need to go fill those with spray foam, sand and paint to stop water getting into the walls.

From start to finish, this was an excellent experience.
The pre-sales process was incredibly thorough and thoughtful, and really made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. I never felt rushed or talked into anything — just well informed and supported.The planning team followed up promptly, were friendly and responsive, and made the whole process feel easy and well organised.
The installers were genuinely amazing. During the site survey they even fixed two broken roof tiles (using spares I already had — but still, completely unexpected and very appreciated). On installation day they were fast, clean, friendly, and left everything in immaculate condition. They also took the time to clearly explain how the system works, which I really valued.
Overall, the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail was outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with my solar and battery installation and would absolutely recommend them.

Fantastic service
Everything was easy from start to finish.Install team was on time and smashed it out. Was a bonus to get a early booking date aswell
Office team was easy to deal with and to contact, install team was clean and presentable, not like most that show up half asleep and filthy.

Venergy solar system and battery
The installation was done with a minimum of fuss and up and running on completion. I havent used any electricity from the grid since then. Had a couple of hiccups with the app initially but this was quickly sorted and didnt impact on the running of the system.Inverter rating: 5/5

Great until deposit paid
Venergy provided the best presale service I had from the people I asked for quotes.After that though the lack of communication and delays have been frustrating. I'm constantly chasing them for updates on an installation date. I will post dates as a guide for others.

Very happy chappy
I did a lot of research before I chose Venergy as the supplier/installer of my new inverter/battery system and it was time well spent. I used Solar quotes for some tried and tested people and they were all very helpful. It finally came down to what I felt offered the best price, the best product and who offered the best after sales service/warranty.I settled on Venergy because Luke from Venergy went out of his way to answer my questions and made sure that I was completely satisfied with the product.
There was a small time lag between acceptance of the quote and the installation due to having to register the system as a VPN with the State Government to access the State Government rebate but once that came through everything proceeded smoothly. Within a week the installers arrived and started work.
The installation went very smoothly and the team obviously knew their business as they worked with a minimum of fuss like a well oiled machine. I supervised them every step of the way.
Before leaving they cleaned up the site and took away all of the boxes and plastic. They also put the App on my phone so that I can track the performance of my system and set everything up for me. I know my system is monitorred by Venergy but I can also check on how it is going myself.
I am a very Happy Chappy. Thank you Venergy!

Really simple process and happy with the outcome
I was looking to take advantage of the battery rebates and got quotes from three providers to add on a battery to my existing solar system; Venergy provided me with what I thought was the best value option, along with a really quick timeline to install.The installers were punctual and the install is clean, and I've been happy with the performance since it was complete.

Good quoting bad follow up worse ending
My choice of Venergy was due to these factors: glowing reviews on the internet, my trust in Solarquotes, competitive quote, and a bad impression left by another quoting company. It turned out to be a horrible experience. I can't discount what other customers said, so I guess I was just unlucky.My initial impression of Venergy was really good. The consultant was very friendly and responsive. He convinced me that they did not need a site inspection because they have Google maps and had done thousands of jobs in Victoria and even big commercial projects. The problem was they did not foresee the need of scaffolding, and Worksafe happened to be doing their rounds in the middle of the install. They were issued a stop work notice and the project was stalled. In the end I had a very unpleasant cost blowout and a delayed completion.
Another unpleasant thing was I followed the advice I read on the Solarquotes website and asked for a cover for the inverter. The consultant did not say it would cost extra. He said no problem they would include it. When I found that it is not mentioned in the quote I raised the issue and he just kept saying to leave it with him. When the install team was here, I asked again and they said they heard nothing about it. I rang the consultant and he still said to leave it with him. After the installation was complete, I took this up with the manager. He said these things are not free. My question was if it wasn't free, why did the consultant offered to include it. He could have just quoted it and I could decide to have it or not have it. The manager said to leave it with him. It's now been a week and all I had was silence. I understand a cover is not absolutely necessary, but promises not kept just leave a really bad impression.
Summary of my Venergy experience: Consultant needed constant chasing up for missing things. Over-promise and under-deliver. Install team were subcontractors but they were punctual, polite and tidy. However, so far I still haven't had instructions given to me after the installation. Sungrow does not really have helpful user manuals. (I found it in the app but it opened to nothing.) The contractor made an appointment to come back but did not show up. System and car charger is working but I relied on myself to install the app and figure out what everything means and how to charge the car. Retailer paper work and meter reconfiguration pending at this stage.

Good Job Venergy
Overall a very professional installation.The sales consultant visited home and gave me explanations of the process followed up with the quote.
The installation was very well done and the technicians were impressive with their skills handling the steep roofs.
System now seems to be working well and the wifi app gives an interesting feedback on daily usage.
V energy is highly recommended.

Good resolution after delays.
I reported a 318 DC back current fault on my inverter that went unresolved for over 5 weeks, leading to a loss in solar generation. Initially, I was told delays were due to the workload from new battery installs, which made me feel that existing customers were not being prioritised.After raising my concerns, the CEO personally contacted me and arranged for an electrician to fix the fault the very next day. I genuinely appreciate the quick action and goodwill once it was escalated.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the outcome and hope Venergy continues to improve their after-sales support so customers receive timely service without needing to escalate issues.

Great installation
Sales process was good - not pushy at all. But did end up talking to lots of different people throughout the process (which was fine). Ended up getting an extra battery for free! Prices from three quotes came in at roughly the same but we went with Venergy because they had the best reviews. Would recommend them.Electricians were excellent, very friendly, efficient and responsive.
After installation, I couldn't figure out the optimal settings in the app, and the team called me to talk me through and adjust the settings.
