Exceed Solar is a locally owned solar, battery, and EV charger installer based in Camden Park, Adelaide, South Australia, servicing homes and businesses across South Australia and Queensland. Founded in 2015 by licensed electricians Corey Evans and Rikky Sampson, the company installs solar-only, battery-only, and fully integrated home and business electrification systems, including commercial-scale solar and battery storage for businesses, handling sales, design, installation, and maintenance entirely in-house, with no subcontracted labour.

Excellent service
Rikky from Exceed Solar was extremely helpful from my first contact. I reached out initially regarding a warranty replacement needed on a Tesla battery installation that was not their installation originally. Rikky was very informative about the new batteries and the details around charging on single phase. In addition, Exceed Solar provided the most competitive quote for expanding the system by adding an expansion pack on. The service was quick… within 2 weeks of taking the job on, and Rikki also went above and beyond the requirements of a repair by replacing numerous circuit breakers in the switchboard, and following up to check on the systems performance. Professional team with great after sales service
My journey with Rikky and the Team at Exceed Solar has been a very good experience.Rikky’s professionalism and thorough explanation from day one has proven a winner here.
We have a new two story build and wanted a quality system installed. 13Kw solar panels, 17kW battery, the latest spec inverter and, as we had recently decided to purchase an electric car, we added an EV charger.
This was in my opinion a complex installation but the install guys managed it with ease.
The most important part of the installation is the final setup and after sales service as this is the time when you can see the whole system working. No issues here with Exceed Solar as they responded to any queries within a few hours.
Overall I’m very happy with the team at Exceed Solar and would highly recommend them to anyone who is wanting to go the solar/battery/EV route.

Excellent installer
We are very Happy with Exceed Solar for installing our second Tesla Power wall 3 battery. We contacted a few other companies and Exceed Solar was the most affordable quote we received.I never felt pressured to make a decision.They were very understanding when I explained that I wanted to get another quote before decided.
The workmanship was top-notch.Michael and his team arrived on time as promised and stayed until everything was installed,tested and running smoothly.They were professional, reliable, and made the whole process easy.
We highly recommend Exceed Solar to anyone looking for a professional and reasonably priced solar battery installer.

Knowledgeable honest provider who handled our subboard upgrade as well as solar and battery
We have an older property which had the sub-board inside the house. This was upgraded by Exceed along with the installation of the solar and battery. The upgrade was the most complicated part of the process particularly given the contrary advice we were given by other solar providers. Rikky and the team managed to explain why the upgrade was necessary and managed the whole process very professionally. It was particularly beneficial to have electricians inspect our house before the quote and provide the actual quote (unlike the other quotes which we received from other solar providers that were done by sales staff who were not electricians).We also changed our minds several times with what we wanted and Exceed were very patient and understanding about this.
The installation was done on time, we were shown how to use the Tesla app for the charger, our place was left tidy and the office support from Exceed has been very good.
We highly recommend them.

Great Installation
Corey and the team on initial contact were easy to deal with and very professional. The Installation team of 3, led by Brad were punctual, polite and left the place spotless, great workers and good at what they do.Dale commissioned the system and was very patient with detailing the Tesla 3 Powerwall, Cathy followed up and again was polite and very helpful.
Overall a fantastic, easy, process, I would recommend Exceed Solar 100%

Highly recommended, top quality product, top quality installers.
Smooth quoting process, no hard sell sales person, just an installer who knows what they are talking about. I explained what I wanted, Rikki designed a system and gave me 3 different options to choose from.Installation was perfect, a very professional team. Clean, tidy and very friendly. Brad and the install team were the ultimate professionals. I received a full run through of the system on completion.

Great Customer Service
This is the second time that Ricky has helped me, he initially installed a solar system, and has now install a Tesla 3 battery. I find that customer service prompt and reliable, and Ricky is great at spending time to explain how the different options might work for me to help select the right product and even gives some advice on different types of plans to look into to make the most of the solar and battery. I have just been on the phone with him again as he called me to check how it’s all going and make sure that I understood the app associated with the products that I have. Seamless Solar panel and battery installation
We initially got Exceed Solar to come and give us a quote as a referral from someone else.They were very professional and we found their recommendations to be perfect for our needs and not over the top.
They arrived when they said they would which is always a bonus.
Everything was done for us and the communication was always there and still is.

Great Installer
Exceed Solar installed our system around 1 month ago. We are happy, and the system is performing as expected.Points of note include that the quote was backed up by an in-person site visit, which set it apart from other installers. Installers who attended the site were easy to get along with and informed us when power needed to be cut periodically.
The system plan was to upgrade an existing 6.5kW system as follows;
6.51kW Solar system with 27kWh battery storage
2 x Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh / 13.5kWh usable)
2 x Tesla Powerwall 3 (5kW) - built-in inverter
14 x AIKO Solar Neostar
Overall, the team was easy to get along with, and the system has been functioning as designed. Great job.

Exceed Solar - exceeding my expectations
Just had our Tesla Powerwalls installed by Exceed Solar and honestly, really happy with how everything went.Big thanks to Rikky, Jess, Cathy, Sean and the whole team — everyone was super easy to deal with from start to finish. Communication was clear, they were responsive, and happy to answer all my questions along the way.
Installation day was smooth. The team was on time, respectful of the house, and made sure everything was working properly before they left.
Safe to say Exceed Solar definitely exceeded my expectations.
Overall just a really good, hassle-free experience. Would definitely recommend them if you’re thinking about getting solar panels or batteries.

Excellent installation and follow up service
It is now 2.5 years since Exceed Solar (previously AESA) installed our system. We continue to be very happy and the system is performing to our expectations.Most notable: Exceed have given excellent follow up service both during and since the installation. We have had 2 physical components (1 x solar edge component and 1 x current transformer) go awry in the years since the installation. These things happen - no-one to fault. Most impressive though is that Exceed continue to take a keen interest in the work they have done and they came out to promptly fix things on both occasions. This is most important - ongoing interest and support from your installer is paramount. There are a few moving parts to having a solar system and trying to get satisfaction from a parts manufacturer or energy company if you have any queries can (will!!) lead to dead ends. We have found that Exceed are the people to contact first.
The original quotes we got for our system (using solar quotes) were similar in terms of price. We chose Exceed Solar because it was self-evident when meeting them that they were both exacting and principled - and that has since proven to be the case.
Ours is a 1950s double brick home. During the installation we were concerned about possible damage to ceramic roof tiles or to the walls (where the batteries are hung). Exceed ensured there were no problems. They handled all aspects of the installation and grid connection.
At the time of quoting Exceed gave us options to consider in a way that would satisfy our needs and pockets and to work optimally with any constraints of the site. Since then, the system has performed in the way we were led to believe. In retrospect we would have had some extra panels installed on the eastern aspect of our house - this area is shaded by trees during summer, but as the trees are deciduous, if we had solar cells on this side of the house it would help generate extra power during the bit of a lull we have during winter. That said, using Amber as our energy vendor our energy bills mostly even out to just a few hundred dollars annually.
We went with SolarEdge at the time as we wanted self-assurance that we could add to the system over time (eg. EV) but we haven't put that to the test. However, SolarEDGE wasn't the cheapest option and we think we would go for one of the more modular battery systems that have since become available if we had our time again.
Our system includes a SolarEDGE hot water management component - we think that was the right choice as we have a resistance hot water system and want that to live out its life before thinking of a heat exchanger.
Our installation included: 2 x SolarEDGE Batteries (total 19.4 kWh) + SolarEDGE inverter + SolarEDGE hot water management + Tiger Solar Panels (10.56 kW).

Excellent people to deal with
Quote was extremely informative. All questions were answered with knowledge making our choice easier. When I changed my mind from 16 to 20 panels there were no problemsInstallation was on time-no delays. Installers extremely friendly and extremely tidy over the 2 days of installation.
Customer service:- communications were excellent before and after installation. We liked that we only had to pay a deposit and then balance on completion , making us feel like a valued customer and not just a grab for money. Everything was completed to our satisfaction. They also said to ring if any concerns. I also liked that the panels and battery is monitored by them for the life of the guarantee. We would give them a AAA rating.

Absolutely loving my Tesla Powerwall 3 system from Exceed Solar!I trust the Exceed Team with a relatively large investment like this because they use all of their own internal Electricians to do the installs so there’s no dodgy sub contractors involved.
The two Directors Corey and Rikky are both Electricians too and genuine people who pride themselves on high quality installs and practical advice which filters down to everyone in the team!
12.44kw Solar system with 460W Aiko solar panels connected to a Tesla Powerwall 3 with an expansion module giving 27kwh worth of storage.
They also installed a 270L iStore heat pump and an induction cooktop so we completely disconnected the gas and run on sunshine now!

Great install of a second PW2
Rikky nad team installed a second PW2 for me a couple of months ago, which went very well. They did a great job, team was punctual, informative and did a very neat job, works flawlessly. The one last thing to be finished was the proactive bumper as the system is on an exterior hose wall with an integral carport. The original PW2 had a chunky bumper and the updated model was more compact. Rikky was great to offer to replace the original bumper with a new model so both batteries matched.
