Professional, reliable and proactive

RenewCo was extremely professional from beginning to end including the aftercare. they did not try any pressure sales but provided factual guidance and adapted to our needs. They organised everything so I didn't need to worry about any parts of the installation or useage.

Great experience the whole way through

Sales process was efficient. They came out, looked at what we had already (existing solar), took our requirements and came up with a suggestion of what will meet our needs (A SigEnergy setup).

They set up a WhatsApp group where you can ask questions during and after the install which was really good, much more efficient than emailing back and forth.

They did make a mistake on the install itself which caused a minor issue, but immediately responded when I queried about it and set up a follow-up to fix it. The way they went about this impressed me a lot.

Great Company & Great Experience for Solar & Battery Installation

This was my second installation of rooftop solar panels and this time included a battery and EV car charger unit. I spoke to a number of suppliers and selected RenewCo Solar. They came on time as promised, and were extremely professional and price competitive. Most of all they were happy to take time and talk with me about options and answer my questions in as much detail as required. Other installers seem to want to come and go quickly, whereas RenewCo took time to understand our needs, consider options, discuss these with me, and provide a quote with the suggested recommendations. I went with a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery solution. The installation team were professional and I was extremely happy with the experience, and in addition with the ongoing product and delivery/intallation of what was promised. Well done and my thanks to all at the RenewCo team.

no pressure sales, clear communication, quality workmanship, dependable support

I’m glad I found RenewCo Solar. The sales rep came out for a site inspection, was knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He crafted a proposal that incorporated my suggestions, and we went with a 10.3kW system (Aiko-470 panels and a SolarEdge inverter) at a competitive price. There was a 2.5-month wait between the deposit and installation, which was communicated upfront. The installation team arrived on time, were organised and tidy, and completed the job within the day. They even removed all rubbish, including six broken tiles and our old solar pool heater pipes free of charge. Post-installation support was provided via WhatsApp. The team was responsive, polite, and accommodating. While the system was up and running, there were two (possibly related) monitoring issues, which I raised. These were followed up promptly. I highly recommend RenewCo Solar, great value without compromising on installation quality or after-sales support.

Excellent work

The entire process, adding a few more solar panels to my existing solar system has well executed!

From the initial assessment to the final installation - it was a breeze. The communication was great, the installers were polite, tidy and experienced.

Whilst 5 other solar installers did the initial assessment and told me that the roof of my tiled house is too steep and installing solar panels can’t be done, Mark’s RenewCo Solar team got the job done! An amazing punch of people!

Great installation and exceptional aftersales service

We had an existing solar power system that had a 3 phase solaredge inverter with LG panels. This system had worked flawlessly for over 6 years. I wanted to add a battery to the system so based on my 6 years experience with solaredge I was inclined to stay with their equipment. I obtained pricing from several installers and mainly because my third quote was taking a long time to respond I sent an enquiry to Renewco. Not being based in our area I didn't think that they would be so interested in travelling to us, however, they responded very quickly to my enquiry and arranged a site visit to inspect our existing installation. Matt was very thorough with the inspection and had a quote back to us very promptly. I was offered a couple of system options for consideration, including the solaredge battery with an inverter upgrade which I asked to be included. Their pricing was also very competitive with the other quotes obtained.

After answering all my questions on the quotes very promptly I elected to proceed with Renewco.
Renewco's process includes setting up a Whatsapp group for communication on the project. This has made communication pre and post installation very effective. All information is retained in the one place for easy reference.
Renewco have their own teams doing the installation and the 2 gents (Nathan and Corey) that arrived to do our battery installation were punctual and very accommodating with location of the battery, taking shoes off in the house, cleaning up after themselves etc. Their attention to detail was first class lifting the standard of the original solar installation to theirs with improved conduit routing, mounting of inverter, replacing previous circuit breakers that were added for the original solar installation with breakers that were the same brand as those installed in our switchboard and replacing the main circuit breaker on our main switchboard with one the same brand as all the others.

I waited 3 months to do this review as I like to see the system working and if there are any teething problems, how they are resolved.

I can say that there was a problem with battery charge / discharge found in the weeks after installation. Through the Whatsapp group we were able to exchange information on what I was seeing and Renewco took this up with Solaredge to resolve. It then took a couple of software changes to get the system right.
The true character of a company is shown in the way they approach problems after installation and the invoices are paid. For that I can only applaud Renewco's (and Solaredge's) attitude to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied.
The system is now working well and I am confident based on what I have experienced to date that if there are any further issues down the track that they will be attended to.
If I have need for further system upgrades, Renewco will be the first company that I contact.

Good installation experience

The quoting process was quick. The rep came and visited the property and followed with a quote. We had a quote for the panels and battery. We could not justify the battery so we went ahead with the panels only. There was a 2 month wait for the installation. But the team arrived at the agreed time and completed the job professionally.
I was kept informed all the way through the process. They cleaned up afterwards.
The system seem to be working fine.

Professional service and high quality installation

Back in Feb 2024 I had RenewCo install an 8.8kw solar system using 21 REC panels and a hybrid SolarEdge Inverter. I was very happy with their price, level of service, professional approach and their availability if I had any questions. I posted a review back then. At this time I was starting my clean energy journey and knew that an EV car was sometime soon and I had an idea of a battery a little later in the picture. I had RenewCo come back during April 2024 to add 5 more REC panels to take the system to bring it 10.9kw and as well install a Tesla EV charger. Once again the price was competitive by comparison for both items and their service was excellent. I was now covering the house power needs and able to charge the car during the day. I knew I needed to close the gap at night when we had go to the grid for power as our retailer had started to impose demand charges following our switchboard upgrade to a smart meter. Everyone beware, demand charges can be nasty! It was later in November 2024 that I had RenewCo back to install a Tesla Powerwall 2. I had planned it for June but RenewCo let me delay the install until November 2024 when the government rebate kicked in. Thanks RenewCo. Once again the install went perfectly and was done in the day. The system worked perfectly as I expected. It is so important to have a good installer and one you can trust. Now I don’t have any power bills apart from the connection fee sometimes and on the last bill they actually owed me money. I charge the EV on solar during the day as well as the 13kw Tesla battery which is more than enough for us overnight. RewnewCo has help me achieve the great outcomes I was hoping for. Thanks to all the team at RenewCo. I would recommend RenewCo to anyone considering a solar system installation.

I cannot recommend RenewCo solar enough. The whole process from start to finish was a breeze and managed with professionalism. The quoting process was very easy and the price offered was competitive. They kept me up to date every step of the way. The install was incredibly neat and they went above and beyond to keep all the cables tidy and to run cabling in the wall cavities instead of using conduit, which I found impressive. Everyone on the team was incredibly friendly and easy to deal with. I highly recommend RenewCo solar.

Excellent experience, very happy with product

Sales was good. I got three quotes and they showed price leadership as the three systems were very similar, so comparable. Design phase was good we changed the design a couple of times, they were very accommodating. Installation was the draw card. The team were very professional, courteous and tidy. I put on REC panels at the suggestion of Sev the sales guy and I couldn't be happier. They look very good aesthetically and more importantly are performing very well. !! I would happily recommend RenewCo to anyone..

Solar Energy Made Easy

I found the quote process easy and prompt. The representative came a time that suited me, and was thorough in his explanation, citing the pros and cons of the choices.
We arranged a date for the installation itself-panels, inverter system, and battery-and it was all completed that day, having arrived on time.
The installers were polite, and tidied up well when they were finished, and organised connection to the grid afterwards. The man in charge was easy to talk to and answered any questions patiently.

Excellent install team, very neat installation

RenewCo Solar were efficient with their quoting, which included an onsite inspection and discussion, so I understood exactly what was proposed. The installation had some unique roofing to deal with, and RenewCo Solar liaised very well with my roofer/waterproofer. Their quote was competitive to others for similar quality panels and inverter.
The install team were punctual, polite and tidy. On completion, they organised the grid connection and tested the system.
All RenewCo Solar's staff were in-house, in other words their workers are NOT subcontracted, which I thought was a significant advantage over other companies that did subcontract their installation staff.
RenewCo Solar's backup support has been reliable and helpful.

Fantastic installer, awesome experience from sales to delivery to aftersales

I worked for the first time with RenewCo Solar when they uninstalled all my existing solar panels so that the roof restoration could be done. After the roof work was completed RenewCo then re-installed and recommissioned all panels back.

On-site team was punctual, very professional and had great manners.

When the team discovered one stripped connector cable, they didn't only tell me about the issue, but at the same time the suggested the different repair options with their recommendation, to which I agreed to.

I was impressed with the whole process and with everybody involved from initial discussions, the actual on-site work and project closure and follow-up.

So, when we decided to get the new battery system installed to our existing solar system, I contacted RenewCo for system proposal and then decided to give the whole work to RenewCo. And I couldn't be happier with that decision. Again, everything went really smoothly.

RenewCo aftersales support has been really good as well. I have had some questions after the installation and the RenewCo team have always covered them very well.

I can highly recommend RenewCo for all solar and battery works.

Great Installation great products

RenewCo quoted me 14 additional Rec solar panels and a Tesla PowerWall 3 inverter to add to my existing 40 Trina Honey roof top solar panels. Their quote was very thorough and professionally presented. Their pricing was competitive with other quotes I had. On the day of installation they brought a large team and the entire installation was completed on the one day. The quality of the installation workmanship was first class. The installation team arrived on time, completed the work, cleaned up after themselves and ensured the Tesla app was running on my 'phone before they left. I had quite a few cracked roof tiles which they replaced for me and took away the old, broken tiles. This is great customer service as it was not covered in their installation proposal. The system has been running perfectly since it was installed and the battery backup functioned seamlessly during three power outages. I would be happy to recommend RenewCo, their staff behaved professionally & ethically at all times, this includes both the sales staff, the office staff and the installation team. I was particularly impressed with the installation staff who went above and beyond what was expected of them. I am a happy customer!

Friendly and effective team

The quote was simple - they came around and provided a few options. We then accepted one of the options and they set me up on a WhatsApp group with all of the relevant team (admin, installer, mgt etc) - that made the process smooth and predictable, and gave me a channel to reach out on and get quick answers to my questions. The install went smoothly - although one connector wasn't fastened - and I saw this in my low solar generation and reported it to them - and they quickly sent a team out to diagnose and resolve the problem. All up it went really well and I am saving a lot of money from my new solar panels and heat p[ump hot water system.

Great experience from quote, through installation and commissioning, and afterwards for questions!

I used SolarQuotes to get a couple of potential installers, but quickly settled on RenewCo Solar. The team listened to my (sometimes quirky!) needs, and we came up with a solution (over a number of iterations) which did what we wanted. When I wanted a battery, I went back to RenewCo Solar, and had the same excellent experience.

Installation was as scheduled, quick, effective and tidy - we knew where we were up to, and what would happen next etc.

Commissioning seamless and gave me all the help I needed.

After the battery went in, I needed some assistance with our (relatively new at the time) combination of SolarEdge inverter and SignenStor battery system, working with Amber for wholesale tariffs - the team at RenewCo Solar went out of their way to help, and sorted out the various issues (many of which were intercompany interactions, rather than anything that RenewCo Solar themselves were actually responsible for!).

All in all, an excellent experience!

Incredibly helpful and they do what they say and when they say they’ll do it.

I got rejected by other companies because of the shape of my roof.

Disappointing

Disappointing experience, would recommend going with a different provider.

From leaving electrical cabling dangling over my neighbours driveway, to installing panels that stick out and are visible from the ground floor, to management losing their temper and threatening not to return to correct their mistakes, to repeatedly delaying completing the job (that still isn’t finished as of feb 25)

Renewco Solar has been one of the most frustrating companies I’ve had to work with. I’d recommend avoiding them and consider using someone else.

Since your first engagement with RenewCo in November 2023, we’ve worked with you on three separate occasions, completing additional work to your initial installation — including an upgrade of Enphase micro-inverters, the installation of additional panels, installation of a second Tesla Powerwall, as well as further system adjustments at your request. Despite some mid-installation concerns, you previously acknowledged the quality of our work and even left a five-star review, which has since been removed.

After some issues with communication, we transitioned you from the WhatsApp group chat to email only between yourself and management due to what we believe were disrespectful comments made to staff members within the support forum. This was not a refusal to engage but a necessary step to maintain professionalism and support our team. You then chose to withhold thousands of dollars until being reinstated in the chat — a situation clearly unrelated to the quality of our installation.

Recently, you reached out via our 1300 line to request a final adjustment to your system. We advised that this would be scheduled once payment was made and confirmed a 2–3 week lead time, which you acknowledged and agreed to before paying your outstanding balance. It’s concerning that you left a one-star review just 15 days later, despite the clear timeline that had been communicated.

Your review further misrepresents our work by using incomplete installation photos and revisiting concerns that were discussed, approved, and paid for in advance. When speaking with our Operations Manager recently, you admitted the review was due to scheduling frustrations, not installation issues.

It’s worth noting that no other solar company was willing to take over this project — not because the work was flawed, but because they recognised it was compliant, high-quality, and correctly executed.

We remain committed to resolving outstanding work professionally, but we stand firm against disrespect to our staff, withheld payments as leverage, and misrepresentations of our efforts.

Brilliant installation for a complex system for a church in northern Wollongong.

RenewCo Solar have provided an upgrade of our existing 48-panel solar system, which used a Fronius 18kW 3-phase inverter, to a complete Solar Battery system.
During the quotation visit it was very easy to discuss our needs with the engineer, and he understood all the needs of our rather complex multiple building installation.
The new system uses a stack of three 8kWh SigEnergy batteries with a 20kW hybrid inverter, giving a total storage capacity of 24kWh.
The system was made even more complex, since the panels are on the roof of our church hall, the batteries and inverter are located on a mezzanine floor just below this, while the gateway and connection to the grid are located on the wall of an adjacent building where a child-care centre is operated. The batteries, of course, could not be co-located in this position because of safety issues with children. This necessitated a 75m cable run between the batteries/inverter and the gateway to provide full backup for the site. RenewCo Solar was able to offset the cost of this by allowing a trade-in of our original inverter.
RenewCo Solar is a family run company, and all of their personnel were very easy to work with and have produced an eminently workable system. I highly recommend them to any potential customer.

Great installer designed a system that's perfect for my needs

RenewCo Solar provided us with various design options in a timely manner. What I really liked was
that there was no pressure applied to complete the deal as quickly as possible and we had plenty of
time to evaluate the options proposed.
We decided to move forward with a solution consisting of REC panels and a 8.0 kW Sigenergy
SigenStor solution. So far, the system has performed well above expectations and includes a
number of innovative features. It has performed so far performed extremely well. Also, the
system’s safety features, including overcharge protection and battery temperature monitoring, give
us extra peace of mind. We love that we can easily, and cost effectively, expand the store capacity
by adding more to the stack in the future. To top it, the look of the inverter and battery module is
very modern and easy on the eye.
The removal of the old system and installation of the SigenStor system was completed within 7
hours. The team arrived punctually as agreed and was well organised. Overall, the experience was
excellent and communication by the RenewCo Solar team was precise and informative at all times.

Fanastic service, very professional

After my inverter died and our old system had been in place for 14 years, I started getting quotes from several solar companies. While two companies offered the cheapest phone quotes, I was more interested in a company with a strong reputation and professional service, so I opted for RenewCo Solar.

From the moment Matt from RenewCo arrived, I knew I had made the right choice. He was extremely professional, never pushy, and very informative. He took the time to explain all our options and was completely honest in his recommendations. I felt confident in his advice and knew this was the company I wanted to go with.

Once we accepted the quote, the communication was excellent. RenewCo kept us informed about everything we needed to do and when to expect the installation.

The installation itself was seamless. The team arrived on time, explained the entire process, and installed our new solar system efficiently. They even took the time to clean up thoroughly afterward, which I really appreciated.

So far very happy

We reached out to a number of companies for quotes but RenewCo Solar was the only one that turned up to our house...all the others used satellite imagery to provide a quote for panels and a battery. We wanted really good panels and a high capacity battery so got the Powerwall 3 with REC Alpha Pure RX panels. The quoting process was efficient although there were a few things I had to go back to them on with the quote, but these were all sorted very quickly. Install was very good, and the team cleaned up after themselves. At least so far (noting we only installed a week ago) system is working well...more than 80% of the time we don't need to pull any power from the grid.

Absolutely professional and transparent people and process. No surprises at all.

Punctual appointments, knowledgeable and communicative sales people and solid back up staff and installers. Quote was for 13 panels but during installation there was room for more so they added another 4 at good price. When I get the battery, I will be making money, not paying a bill. The two way tariff process was explained well.

Great service and no cutting corners.

Getting all three quotes was critical to making my decision. After the first quote I was sure I was going to go with them. Then after the second quote, which came in much cheaper, I was sure I was go with them as a value proposition. Ended up going with RenewCo, who came in at the most expensive, but gave me the most tailored, but more importantly, the optimal solar system for my needs. Installation was neat and I remain happy with the after installation service.

Honest efficient and reliable

I chose Renewco as they were the only installers that advised me on a bigger system of kWh (which is covering my needs for the near future instead of looking at a lower basis), with better quality solar panels and advised me on the fact I was eligible to a rebate from my council!
Their WhatsApp customer service is super handy as I can chat with the whole team as soon as something comes up

Good communicators, do what they say they’ll do, think holistically

We are quite happy with our experience.

They took the time to visit the site, are hyper accessible for questions and queries and were competitive in pricing.

They also had a more rounded understanding - of the electrical and metering needs, and didn’t focus just on the solar panels which would have tripped them up.

They really took the time to understand what our objectives were and made a solution accordingly.

Excellent Customer Service

Very happy with our experience with Renewco Solar which included quoting in person and then efficient installation process within 3 weeks by a courteous and helpful team. Now 3 weeks later all going smoothly.

In addition to the solar installation they replaced a gas hot water system with an electric heat pump and substituted an electric stove for a gas one in order to deal with an inaccessible gas leak we had inside our house. All done and dusted in one day. They also handled the paperwork with our energy retailer for grid connection. Their ongoing backup via Whatsapp group is efficient and provides peace of mind.

Honest, transparent, good value and great service

RenewCo Solar have provided great service starting with a really clear explanation of the options, a transparent quote and no pressure to sign up. The system offered great value for money, as we received a superior product for less than what other companies were quoting. Installation went smoothly; they turned up and completed the job in line with the times given and left the site clean.

The system is set up, they took care of the rebates and grid connection. After having a terrible experience with another provider, we could not be happier with the service we received from RenewCo Solar.

Excellent work

Very positive experience with Renew Co. Carson came in person and did the quotes and explained the plan in detail. Most companies don’t come and just do the quotes according to satellite images. The installation work is excellent and they are very professional. Highly recommended!
