Thank you SolarQuotes and SunPeople
It took a while to get a response from the installers but eventually they did with a prompt from SolarQuotes. We have panels and only wanted a battery.One quoted from a phone conversation and Greg from SunPeople visited. He was thorough, measured, photographed, talked, considered options for us, flew a drone to look at the panel arrangements and included a smoke alarm.
When the quote arrived there were prices for 2 different sized batteries. I was unsure about what size we'd need and delayed accepting any quotes.
Settled on SunPeople because of the site visit and the price, going for the larger (28kWh).
Installation was expected to be about 6 weeks after but received a call to say it could be done within a week.
Installers arrived on time and were tidy and friendly. Answered questions well. Seems like they forgot to take photos that were needed for the Cert of completion of electrical work (CCEW). That's just recently been provided. I wouldn't have known about this but it's needed amonsgt a raft of documents to apply for the NSW battery rebate.
I contacted the business about the missing Certificate and the response was slow. I think there was something happening on their side but I was only told that they'd contacted the install manager. Sorted now.
Early days (less than 1 month) but have been impressed with the quick installation, the battery and the switch to Amber. We have shading on the panels but it's looking like my daily Winter cost for electricity is about half of what it would be without the battery and Amber.

Outstanding Service
Sales/quoting process was straight forward. All question were answered and the process of deciding what size system that would suit our needs was spot on.Installers where polite/tidy and punctual. Also explained some of workings of the system and organised the grid connection.

Our experience was good from the sales rep Paul who was very thorough, punctual and spent time assessing where all the different parts would be situated. We have 24 Trina panels and a sigenergy battery 24kw.It did take a bit of time between quote and start but I believe that was because of the big uptake before the Gov rebate changed.
The installation team were very proffessional, polite, courteous arrived on time and worked well together.
The job looks great and Ben was very happy to answer any questions and go over anything we did not understand straight away. He also helped us set up the sigen app and ran us through it.
The recepionists when we rang the office were always helpful and polite.
We would recommend this company to family and friends.

Efficient quote with home visit, system at a good price no communication in the 2 months since I paid the deposit about an installation date.
A salesman from the company actually visited the premises and explained why he suggested a particular system. Another company suggested a very similar system but their quote was about a thousand dollars more expensive. I paid the deposit a couple of months ago but despite numerous e-mails (not replied to) and about half a dozen phone calls have not been given an installation date. I have explained to the people I have spoken to that we will be away for several weeks between now and the start of May and have been told someone will ring us to arrange an installation date. We are still waiting/16 January 2026

Sigen Battery and solar system
Quoting process was excellentInstallation was great, installers were punctual , polite good workmanship.
However After sales service was less than satisfactory.
