All our installations are done in house, we don't use subcontractors or salesmen. You will deal with one person from start to finish.
We have successfully been in business since 2012 and completed thousands of installations through a rocky industry. Our diversity of work outside of solar will keep us around long after the fly- by- night sales companies have liquidated.

Absolutely smashed it – Seamless Solar, Battery & EV Installation with top-notch service!
The sales process was smooth, transparent, and completely pressure-free. Nick and the team took the time to walk me through the solar, battery, and EV setup without any pressure or upselling, which made a big difference. They were also among the most competitive quotes I received, so it felt like good value without compromising quality.Once I signed and paid the deposit, things moved quickly. The install was booked in sooner than I expected, and on the day, the boys showed up right on time and got straight into it. Everything was installed efficiently, and the workmanship was clean and professional. They didn’t leave a mess behind either, which I always appreciate.
Nick and Damien were fantastic during the handover. He explained everything clearly and step by step: how the system works, how to monitor it, how to use the mySigen App and DC Charger, and even how to optimise things like charging and usage. It didn’t feel rushed, and I walked away actually understanding how to use my setup properly.
Overall, super smooth experience, and I’m really happy with the result. I’d definitely recommend Surge It Solar and Electrical if you’re looking for a reliable, honest team for solar, battery, and EV installations.

Review of my Sungrow solar upgrade
As a retired electrical professional, I’m able to look at an installation with a bit more insight than most. My recent upgrade included:• Inverter: Sungrow SH8.0RS
• Battery: Sungrow SBR224 – 22.4 kWh
The team was on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and polite throughout the entire process.
Their tradesmanship was first class. The installation was neat, well planned, and carried out with clear attention to detail. Everything was explained properly, and the system has been performing exactly as expected.
Overall, a very professional job and an upgrade I’m extremely satisfied with.

Best decision we’ve made!
Am extremely satisfied with the solar and battery system installed by Surge It Solar and Electrical at Brendale. From the start, Roy was professional, informative, and didn't pressure us, designing a system that fitted our specific energy usage. The installation team was fantastic—tidy, fast, and polite.Approximately, two weeks in, our battery is performing perfectly, amazed at how well the battery manages night-time demand and significantly reducing our bills. The monitoring app is super easy to use, and they took the time to explain everything during the handover, showing they care about the long term, not just the sale. Highly recommend this team!

Fantastic installer: quick, reliable and great customer support!
Sales process was prompt and did not push whatsoever for battery install, in addition they were also the lowest quote I received.Install happened within 1 week of signing the contract and paying the deposit. The day of the install the team rocked up on time and in half a day the system was setup, leaving all areas in a tidy state. Kyle was amazing at explaining everything: what to do if inverter had an issue, how to setup the hot water time and how to use the Sungrow app.
Unfortunately the wire for an air-conditioning unit was not re-connected to the switchboard hence was not working but the day after the installation I called the office and the owner, Nick, promptly organised for someone to come to my property that afternoon to rectify this, while being very apologetic of the inconvenience.
Totally understand one small error can occur but I was really impressed with the support and the prompt rectification.

Great Service and Advice
Recently bought a BYD Battery via Surge It. We had existing solar and Fronius Symo Inverter in place with the intention to go with a battery one day. Great service from Surge It from the Quote through to Installation. Process was simple, felt informed with no pressure. Thought it may be a 8 week process but we went from quote to install well earlier than expected. Really happy with the service from Nick, Ray and the whole team.Panel rating: 5/5

A pleasant, seamless installation process that inspires confidence
We requested a quote via SolarQuotes on Thurs 7 Nov, and Roy from Surge It contacted me, asking for our requirements and initial information, on Tues 11 Nov. By 17 Nov Roy had made a site visit to gather more information, both from us and the site, and submitted their final quotation later the same day, which, after a few minor changes, we accepted on 19 Nov. Throughout this process Roy was very professional, both listening to our wishes and concerns while passing on his knowledge and experience to offer us the best solution. At no time was there any attempt to 'upsell'.By chance, only two days after our accepting the quote, an opportunity arose due to a late cancellation, and by the end of 21 Nov the system had been installed, only 2 weeks after the initial enquiry.
The installation itself went very smoothly with the team arriving on site and getting their heads down to work, addressing any issues and resolving them efficiently, all the while keeping us informed of what was happening, and finally clearing up after the job was completed.
Couldn't really ask for much more from the whole process.

Great service from our installer
Nick and his team have installed solar panels and more recently a BYD battery. I had some modem issues and when I replaced the modem had issues connecting to the inverter. I then had an inverter issue that resulted in a new inverter being installed. I contacted Nick about the modem issue and he fixed it in no time over the phone. With the inverter Nick came out on a Saturday to look at the inverter and deemed it a warrenty issue. It was fixed today. Nick and his team have been fantastic in the installation and after sales service. The installation experience was great but the after sales service was exceptional.04 November 2025

Following an extensive review of different companies, systems and prices I chose Surge It Solar. They did not let me down. From Sales visit to quoting and then installation it all happened faster than I anticipated. The equipment was sourced and installed efficiently and very professionally. Quick and tidy installation
The process was very easy, talked to Nick a few weeks ago told him that I was moving and was interested in solar. He sent a quote with panel placement, type of panels and inverter type as well as price.I rang him yesterday to say I was ready; it was installed today. At all times during the process and today's installation I was asked if there were any questions. The link for the App was sent today, and everything was explained to me before anything was signed. Great service.

Professional team and installation
Installation went smoothly and ahead of schedule. Sales and installer were professional and supported my needs - Ethernet connection rather than Wi-Fi, and installed DC conduits high on the trusses close to tile to minimise EMF passing through ceiling. Installers were great, arriving at the schedule time and the site was clean after they departed. They also explained the upgrades made to the meterbox and how to configure the new hot water timer.08 September 2025

Exceed my expectations and great on going support.
SurgeItElectrical made upgrading my solar system a truly positive experience. After 12 years with a 5kW system and facing recurring inverter problems, my energy needs had grown—so I decided it was time for a change. On a friend's recommendation, I included SurgeItElectrical in my quote comparison. They offered a competitive price, and after a few informative phone chats, I chose to go ahead with a new setup: 13kW of panels and a 10kW inverter, with the option to add a battery after monitoring the system for a month.The removal of my old system and installation of the new panels and inverter was impressively fast and organized, taking only a day and a half. The installers were polite, worked efficiently, and left everything spotless—nothing for me to clean up. Less than a week after accepting the quote, my new system was up and running.
Nick visited soon after to help select the best location for the battery, taking my recent renovations into account so it wouldn’t take up valuable garage space. The battery (a sizable 38.4kW) was installed about ten days later in under four hours, again with no disturbance to my routine and a very tidy finish. Getting set up with the Sungrow app was simple, so I’m able to monitor production and manage my high-usage appliances in real time.
Throughout everything, Nick provided fantastic advice, including tips for dealing with my electricity supplier that have already saved me money. In five days with the battery, I’ve generated more power than I need, with my grid costs practically disappearing. Last month, my bill was $380; now, I’m breaking even or coming out ahead daily. I’m expecting to recover my costs in about five years (maybe even sooner, with extra upgrades on the horizon).
Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the price, service, and results. I highly recommend SurgeItElectrical—they have completely taken the stress out of rising electricity prices, and I’m looking forward to enjoying my air conditioning all summer long.

We used Nick for our panels in 2022 and again in August 2025 when we wanted a battery installed. His quote was prompt and with zero sales pressure.The battery was then installed on the promised date and the team arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards.

Excellent, patient and expert installation
I dealt with the owner Nick directly. Nick came out himself to inspect and discuss where the battery would go and spent a fair amount of time so I didn't feel rushed or under pressure.I had to wait some time before I was ready to go ahead with the install and I never felt pressured. On install day Nick did the work himself and went over and above to correct things from other installers that he didn't have to. Finally, he was also able to configure the two inverters in a way other installers said wasn't possible so I'm very happy with the result. Even my wife commented that they seemed like polite people and didn't mind having them in the house.
It's hard finding good tradesmen these days and I'll definitely be using Surge IT again when the need arises. I have no problems recommending SurgeIT and I don't normally do reviews of any kind.

Highly recommended solar and battery installer
Surge IT Solar and Electrical are an excellent choice for solar and battery installation. Nick and his team provided a professional service from the get-go. Pre-sales involved a site visit from Roy, who is an experienced electrician. So the quote included all required works, with no surprises. The experience on the day of installation was great, with the entire team working hard to complete a fairly large domestic installation in one day.
