Installation well done.

Our old heater stopped working and we were interested in replacing our old PV’s with a new system including battery. Mike contacted us soon after and came up to St Agnes to sit down with us and discuss our needs. Mike provided us with a great presentation which we could understand and from there received a number of options with costings. We acted on one option and made arrangements for installation. The installation went very well and was completed within a day and we were then on full solar power. We had a lot to learn and DSW answered our phone calls and emails providing us with the information we required help us to apply for the state government battery rebate plus other operational information.
We have since recommended DSW to family and friends and will continue to do so. As seniors it’s important that warranties are honoured and DSW were able to offer us full support for the lifetime of the warranties on our present system.

We are already saving money!

We engaged Direct Solar Wholesaler Energy Group for installation of a home battery to complement our existing home solar. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish - the initial installation date was 4-6 weeks, but due to availability in the installers schedule, our installation was complete in less than two weeks. Since the battery has been installed, we haven't drawn electricity from the grid at all. This proves that the system that was recommended to us, based on our existing energy usage patterns, is what we needed. We are very happy with the product, price and customer service. Great quality and professional team

The quoting process with Direct Solar Wholesaler was very smooth and efficient, thanks to Lynn, who was exceptionally professional and provided clear, detailed information about the SolaX system. On the day of installation, the team was punctual, polite, and maintained a very tidy workspace, ensuring everything was cleaned up after the job was finished. Amazing company from start to finish

I had a chap called Neil figure out what I needed for my home and his advice was amazing and as I had no clue what my usage was at the new property he made everything very easy and guided me throughout the whole process. I had a timing constraint and they managed the install within a couple of weeks. The installers were very good and did all the work very clean and left their details in case we had any issues and showed me how to use the app and what to look out for. Neil is also helping me switch to the best supplier to maximise the system I have now. 5* service start to finish.

Fantastic, responsive, great sale, support staff!

Sales/Quoting:
The quoting process involves checking my previous bills and making sure they size the panels with battery. They do this inline with my usage, and they do a plan on cost vs savings over the seasons and years. They are meticulous with the proposal and seek to make sure I fully understand it. They show me how long it would take to cover the costs and rebates involved. They aren't trying to sell a system quickly without it being the "right" size & fit for purpose.
Neil listened to my needs and gathered information on my existing system. Our conversation happened over a few days. There was no sales push or rush to sign. From this, we decided to go with DSW.
Based on DSW advice, we got Longi panels, a Solax Inverter, and a battery system.
Installation:
Installation took 2 days, during which the old inverters and panels were removed, and the new system was installed. I have 3-phase system with AC, pool pump,EV, etc. After installation, they cleaned up.
They showed me the Solax app, tested the outage systems and took care of rebates and electricity providers.

Customer Support/Service:
After a few weeks, I noticed that I was getting charged for grid imports. DSW was quick to come and check installation. Jack was then diligent and approachable in getting it resolved. They moved CT clamps from my internal switch to the street mainboards to cover unaccounted electricity usage. They came out a few times over a few weeks to make changes and rectify. I am super happy with the way they went out of their way to make sure the install was correct, and the customer was happy.

Solax:
They have close contacts with Solax, and a Solax engineer came out to check my system. They checked my wifi dongle range and stability and installed another set of antennas.

Conclusion:
I can't fault these guys; even when the install was not right and somewhat frustrating. Their attitude is to work to resolve the issues.
If you want an installer who will be there when issues happen, call DSW. If you want cheap, nasty and no support after the sale; there are many cheaper installers. I prefer knowledgeable and quality DSW. These guys are in it for the long haul.

Responsive and Relative Good Value.

Very informed and engaged salesperson. Early days, but the system is living well up to expectation. Was able to get my battery in earlier after cancellation from another customer. They also discovered and fixed a problem with the original solar install from another provider. Installers took the time to walk me through everything at the end of the install. Happy so far.

Good installer

Quote was fair and the process was efficient. Installers arrived on time and were very nice guys. The boss, Ryan, was knowledgable and happy to explain parts of the process to me without condescension. All issues were professionally handled and connection to the grid was done and fully explained, as was the use of the app to set up the plant. DSW have been good to work with at every part of the process and I would highly recommend them.

Jack Yang was excellent to deal with — very knowledgeable, professional, and transparent throughout the process. Fantastic service from start to finish

Shopping around for a battery installer was challenging as everyone wants your business. Dealing with Mel from sales was a dream. He provided me with all the information I needed and dumbed it down easy to understand then when I asked to just think about it. He did and didnt pressure me to say yes straight away. After more questions I felt ready to commit from the level of service he provided.

The installation was also great. Once completed the team helped me set up my app, showed me how to use it and the benefits.

After a few weeks Mel checked in with me to make sure everything was working well and had no issues.

Fantastic installation

I had my solar panels installed on last November, everything went really smoothly with the help from Jack! He even brings forward my installation appointment which I really really appreciated. Installation guys were polite and punctual, and very efficient! After the installation Chris helped me to set up my account in my phone which saved me a lots of time and brain cells! In addition they also offer post-sales services and made me feel like they are online 24 hours - highly recommend this team!

My last point which is also the most important, is that my last electricity bill is only 8 dollars! Hahahahha

I found DSW to be the only company that ensured a total stress free solution that i was looking for. I wanted a system that was actively monitored and a financial guarantee in the event of faults, a system that was V2x compatible, future home automation compatible, and a performance guarantee which they offered and more. I am very happy with the high quality and compliant installation. I find the app to be easy to use and integrates perfectly with another same system i have. Jack from Direct Solar Wholesaler assisted us with the Sales process. Jack was professional, knowledgeable, provided us with options that meeting our needs and pleasure to deal with.

The installation team (Kyle, Jack & Riley) also did a fantastic job. Very neat & tidy install and we are very happy with the outcome. They turn up on time, attention to detail, patient in answering all my questions, showing us the basic functions of the monitoring apps to get us going, tested the EPS to ensure it works as intended and also handled all approvals & paperwork making the entire process stress free.

2 weeks in and it has been performing as promised.

Used 3 times due to outstanding service

At our previous property, when adding to the system we already had installed, Jack was able to clearly explain the options that others had created confusion in my mind.
Hence, we used him after moving to a new property. Again, he explained the options and did not try to over sell the product, just providing what was best for our circumstances.
When looking for quotes for the installation for a battery system I used the internet to get three quotes. They were all different and varying costs and products. With this information, I contacted Jack and his recommendation was the same product as the one I had thought was the best for us. The price made it easy to choose Direct Solar.
In all three installations the job was completed efficiently and professionally. The one instance that there was an issue it was quickly resolved.
I would have no hesitation to recommend Jack and Direct Solar Wholesaler Energy Group.

Really fantastic support after installation

we got our solar battery system installed about 4 weeks ago. our house was hit indirectly by a very close lightning just some dozen meters away which caused something in our main switch box to act weird. the actual battery solar system seems to have not been damaged but was auto shut down as a protective mechanism it seems.
one of the installer were able to drop by the next day with just a few hours notice to quickly replace the lightning affected component inverter in our main switchboard free of charge and ensuring the system solar battery runs as intended again with no downtime and saved us a lot of stress! they also checked over the solar and battery system to ensure that it hasn't been affected by the lightning.

Overall great!

After getting multiple quotes for a sig energy system Direct Solar came back as the cheapest, by some over multiple thousand. After deciding to pull the trigger I decided to make the size of the battery even bigger, which they had no problem helping with.

After researching the battery system that I wanted, the next important task was selecting the best installer. Dealing with Jack from Direct Solar from the very start is what impressed me the most. He was not pushy and was happy for me to take my time with the whole process. He always answered any of my questions and trust me I had a lot of them. The quote that I received from Jack was "the" best price. No smoke and mirrors sales tactics. Honest and up front from the start to the finish.
