Fantastic service from start to finish

Shopping around for a battery installer was challenging as everyone wants your business. Dealing with Mel from sales was a dream. He provided me with all the information I needed and dumbed it down easy to understand then when I asked to just think about it. He did and didnt pressure me to say yes straight away. After more questions I felt ready to commit from the level of service he provided.

The installation was also great. Once completed the team helped me set up my app, showed me how to use it and the benefits.

After a few weeks Mel checked in with me to make sure everything was working well and had no issues.

Fantastic installer

The sales and quoting process was very smooth. Lynn was extremely efficient in providing the quote and explained the terminology clearly, which made everything easy to understand.

Fantastic installation

I had my solar panels installed on last November, everything went really smoothly with the help from Jack! He even brings forward my installation appointment which I really really appreciated. Installation guys were polite and punctual, and very efficient! After the installation Chris helped me to set up my account in my phone which saved me a lots of time and brain cells! In addition they also offer post-sales services and made me feel like they are online 24 hours - highly recommend this team!

My last point which is also the most important, is that my last electricity bill is only 8 dollars! Hahahahha

Amazing

I found DSW to be the only company that ensured a total stress free solution that i was looking for. I wanted a system that was actively monitored and a financial guarantee in the event of faults, a system that was V2x compatible, future home automation compatible, and a performance guarantee which they offered and more. I am very happy with the high quality and compliant installation. I find the app to be easy to use and integrates perfectly with another same system i have. I highly recommend DSW as pre sale and post sale service is fantastic and delivered the solution I was after.

Knowledgeable installer with neat and tidy installation.

Jack from Direct Solar Wholesaler assisted us with the Sales process. Jack was professional, knowledgeable, provided us with options that meeting our needs and pleasure to deal with.

The installation team (Kyle, Jack & Riley) also did a fantastic job. Very neat & tidy install and we are very happy with the outcome. They turn up on time, attention to detail, patient in answering all my questions, showing us the basic functions of the monitoring apps to get us going, tested the EPS to ensure it works as intended and also handled all approvals & paperwork making the entire process stress free.

2 weeks in and it has been performing as promised.

Used 3 times due to outstanding service

At our previous property, when adding to the system we already had installed, Jack was able to clearly explain the options that others had created confusion in my mind.
Hence, we used him after moving to a new property. Again, he explained the options and did not try to over sell the product, just providing what was best for our circumstances.
When looking for quotes for the installation for a battery system I used the internet to get three quotes. They were all different and varying costs and products. With this information, I contacted Jack and his recommendation was the same product as the one I had thought was the best for us. The price made it easy to choose Direct Solar.
In all three installations the job was completed efficiently and professionally. The one instance that there was an issue it was quickly resolved.
I would have no hesitation to recommend Jack and Direct Solar Wholesaler Energy Group.

Really fantastic support after installation

we got our solar battery system installed about 4 weeks ago. our house was hit indirectly by a very close lightning just some dozen meters away which caused something in our main switch box to act weird. the actual battery solar system seems to have not been damaged but was auto shut down as a protective mechanism it seems.
one of the installer were able to drop by the next day with just a few hours notice to quickly replace the lightning affected component inverter in our main switchboard free of charge and ensuring the system solar battery runs as intended again with no downtime and saved us a lot of stress! they also checked over the solar and battery system to ensure that it hasn't been affected by the lightning.

Overall great!

After getting multiple quotes for a sig energy system Direct Solar came back as the cheapest, by some over multiple thousand. After deciding to pull the trigger I decided to make the size of the battery even bigger, which they had no problem helping with.

After researching the battery system that I wanted, the next important task was selecting the best installer. Dealing with Jack from Direct Solar from the very start is what impressed me the most. He was not pushy and was happy for me to take my time with the whole process. He always answered any of my questions and trust me I had a lot of them. The quote that I received from Jack was "the" best price. No smoke and mirrors sales tactics. Honest and up front from the start to the finish. A great experience from quote to install. Great after-install service.

- How was the sales/quoting process? - Can't complain, quote was reasonable and realistic.
- How did the installation go? Polite? Tidy? Punctual? - In my case I had solar panels + inverter + battery installed. It was a good install, the crew of 4/5 (I think) turned up on time and got to work straight away. They started at 7am and by midday I had a working system producing and storing electricity. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves too. They didn't leave until the system was configured and up and running.
- How was the customer service? - Again, great service from the estimator, as well as the installation technicians and the sales office staff. Whenever I needed to ring, someone always picks up and is helpful.

Great customer service

I had my system installed by DSW (SA) around 2.5 years ago.

Just recently I noticed my Fronius Gen24 had a flashing yellow light during daytime which used to be steady green. The system was functioning normal. But I could not figure out what exactly it was.

I contacted DSW (SA) and explained the issue. They checked my system and sent me video intsructions on how to resolve it. The team was patient and helpful and did everything to resolve the issue.

Such a good customer service! Keep it up guys!

Fantastic from start to finish

Jordan the sales person was amazing to deal with. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Our system was not just a standard one and required more work than a simple one. He was happy to answer any questions in the intial phases of communication, gave knowledgeable advice and continued that right through with a follow up call after install. Can not recommend highly enough.

The install boys were also lovely guys, they did an amazing job and left things neater than they found them. Top job and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Install of Battery to solar

Direct Solar installed my 6 kwh solar about 2 years ago the sales/quoting of it went smooth and trouble free, The install of the solar was very well done on time and hassle free . About 2 years later i got them to do a Quote for a 19 kwh Battery to go with my solar as with the solar quote the battery quote was easy to understand and all my question about it was answered very fast so going with them was easy and i knew they do a great job. The battery system was delayed by 4 days due to shipping but Direct Solar informed me 2 days before to let me know and set another date the install of the battery system went in with no hassle the guys did a great job of the install and little down time with the power. The battery system did not work on install due to a fuse that was gone in the Sungrow inverter Direct solar was straight on to Sungrow about it and Sungrow sent the replacement part overnight to me and Sungrow arranged the electrician to come out and replace the part. When the system was turned on it still did not work. But the guys from Direct Solar where there to fix the problem and the problem was the other electrician had not connected the wires back in properly. Direct Solar Guys did a great job always keeping me informed every step of the way - you could not ask for a better group of people to do any of your solar needs they are just so professional at doing their job.

Friendly service and excellent value.

This is our first solar system with batteries and the whole install and set up was really easy. The team at DSW worked out what we can fit on our extension roof and timed it well with our builder and had it fully installed in one day. They even allowed for more coverage during the day moving away from the shadows of trees next door. The supplied app is easy to use and shows all the information we need on our power generation and grid purchase. This helps working out when to use appliances and if any is accidentally left on. The after sales service is easy to access and we only had to ask about using the app as the system has worked with no issues.

Kuya Mel Tan was very patient explaining the quote and giving the best customer service for us who have no idea on this area. The team was easy to deal with and talk to. The installation team as well did very good job. There was just scratches on the roof during panel installation but they repainted it after everything was done. Thumbs up!

Great Service

Dennis explained the options and the pros and cons of the various manufacturers and provided a quote. He was very friendly.
The install team removed the ageing 1.5Kw system and installed the new one in a day. No issues, no mess, it went like clockwork.
They organised the grid connection for me.
Then a couple of days later Jack came and showed me how to install the phone app and monitor the system - and he explained the panel displays and so on.
Just over a year later, I realised that I needed a conduit moved in the roof space. I rang Jack and within a few days, his guys arrived and moved it for me - no charge.
I'm confident they will be there for me if anything goes wrong or I need anything else.
