Professional

the ECG team turned up with a full crew on the date at the time they booked. They were super professional. The completed the job and cleaned up when they said they would. They explained wha they had done and what the various components were.

All registration paper work was completed, we didn't even see it, it just worked.

ECG Review

Quoting and comms were punctual and clear. I had quite a few questions which ECG responded to within 24 hours. Installers turned up on time and on the date arranged. Installation was done professionally and in a single day. Installers were friendly and polite. The system is very efficient, we have not paid for a single kwh since it was switched on. The app gives me a good picture of what is going on with the Sigenergy system. Happy with the whole job, I would recommend ECG to anyone.

Great experience all around

This installation was for our investment property. ECG worked well with our land agent to get access, and install the system, while keeping me informed when needed. One thing I really liked in the process was the way they handled a recall of the sigenergy inverter. They made sure we got the corrected system up front rather than install the recalled one then fix it up later. (Really impressed with the approach from sigenergy as well on this).

System is great, working as expected. The mySigen app is really good for landlords as well, enabling you to give restricted access to the system to the tenants (so they can get the best use from it), while still keeping ownership yourself (will also make it easy to switch to new tenants easily if and when that happens).

The thing that sold me on this quote was the quality and quantity of information, along with the quality system quoted. Glad I went with them.

Would choose ECG again

We took our time deciding between installers. ECG were patient, prompt and helpful with questions.
We were able to schedule installation within a couple of weeks and the team were on time and polite and thorough.
Set up and connection to the app was easy and my husband has enjoyed tracking our solar output daily.
This company had great reviews of their Canberra branch and we chose them hoping they were trying to build the same reputation in QLD. We were very happy with them and if we choose to expand our system/add a battery, we'd be going back to ECG for sure.

Excellent pre-sales support. Very professional

ECG were the only supplier that was willing to send someone out in person to talk to us. We found this very valuable and gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing.

They suggested good options and gave us a range of quotes based on our feedback.

Their installers were all ECG staff (not contractors) which we definitely prefer.

The day of the installation went very smoothly and I was impressed by the professionalism of the team they sent.

We are very happy with the end result. I would recommend ECG to anyone who values excellent service

All good, the guys did great, only disappointment was the cigarette butt that washed down to my leaf catcher, as we are on tank water and it’s our drinking water supply, this was not nice to see.

Excellent service before and after installation

Installed Sigenergy battery with gateway to existing solar panels, Actually the dearest quote of the 3 received but after speaking to the consultant I was confident the Sigenergy would provide all the benefits I was looking for including full house backup. The installation was professional and tidy, the only criticism was the bolts holding the unit to the wall used too small a washer behind the bolt head ( the existing small washer was halfway through the bracket hole). The system was installed and running correctly by lunch time. The Sigenergy App works perfectly providing all the information I need. Appreciated the follow up visit to ensure everything was working correctly

First rate installer

ECG recently installed our solar panels and battery system. The whole process from quote to installation was seamless with excellent communication at all levels. The install team were brilliant. We were provided with updates at various stages of the install and then they finished off by providing a comprehensive instructional briefing on commissioning. Apart from the new equipment, you wouldn't have known that anyone had been working on the place for a whole day. Everything that needed to be moved to accommodate the works was placed back from whence it came and the work areas left clean and tidy.

ECG - Excellent!

The guys from ECG Sunshine Coast did a fantastic job all within 4 weeks of ordering our new system. We replaced an old solar system and replaced it with a large solar / battery system. We sourced 4 quotes and they were competitive from the start, unlike a couple of others that were happy to move on price after quoting an exorbitant amount up-front which we did not appreciate.

The guys who installed our system were hard working, very friendly and very knowledgable. We also had some dealing with one of the Directors / owners throughout the process and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The behind the scenes support post-installation was also excellent - to be honest I can’t fault ECG and highly recommend their service to anybody looking for a system on the Sunshine Coast.

ECG is top of the class

I have used ECG Electrical for all my solar and electrical installations since 2020 and I have always found them to be friendly and knowledgeable about the products they use. They installed my solar panels, Tesla 2 Powerwall and i-Store heatpump hot water system. I recently switched over from the Tesla 2 Powerwall to Sigenergy which they recommended. It's allowed me to increase my storage capacity at an affordable price and now I'm almost energy self-sufficient. They took me through all the different stages of the installation and product use, including installation of the Sigenergy App. The workers were friendly and very polite and were ready to answer all my questions. I have recommended ECG Electrical to many of my friends and they are the first point of call when I need similar services.

Easy PW3 expansion install

Tesla power wall 3 expansion install. I went with ECG for this job as the original installer of our panels and PW3 gave me a quote that seemed excessive, which was confirmed by checking a popular website about solar. ECG had me booked for next year but rang out of the blue to say they had a spot available. The install went smoothly. I highly recommend ECG for your Canberra solar work.

Highly Recommended ECG Electrical

I recently had my solar system installed through Solar Pudding and ECG Electrical, and I’m really happy with the whole experience. From the beginning they were very helpful — they gave me a few different quotes, explained the benefits of each option, and helped me understand what would suit my house the best.

The admin team did a great job as well. They organised the rebate and guided me through all the paperwork, which made the process much easier. The price was reasonable, and everything was explained clearly from start to finish.

The installation team also did an excellent job on the day. The system looks neat, works perfectly, and I can already see the difference in how my house is using solar and the battery. I’m very happy with the performance so far and I’m looking forward to saving a good amount on my power bills.

I want to thank the whole ECG team for their great work. My colleague originally recommended ECG Electrical to me, and now I can see why. I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about getting solar.

Excellent, quality installers at a reasonable price

I used ECG Electrical to purchase a battery installation. They offered a Sigenergy solution, complete with an automatic transfer switch solution for when the grid goes out. The quoting process was straight forward and left me in no doubt as to what I needed. Additionally, they suggested a better sized battery which will future proof the installation.
The guys doing the installation were really tidy, not only cleaning up after themselves, but ripping out and patching up the previous solar inverter solution so that it looked neat. They managed to get all cables hidden in the wall cavity, something that a number of previous installers had refused to do (even though it was relatively straight forward). Additionally, they ran me through the system operation at the end and, a couple of days later, sent out a full installation and maintenance manual. Further, they followed up to confirm that all was working as expected. I am very happy with their workmanship and their service. I would definitely recommend them.

Follow on 6 months after install

We had a battery added 6 months after the initial install of the system. The original system is still operating well, and exceeding the forecast production. The addition went smoothly with the work done on time and quickly.

Good experience with these guys

I used this site to solicit some quotes for battery to add to my solar just because the Albanese government is offering socialist programs at the moment and I wanted to claw back some of my tax money .. so I'm not here to tell you renewable power is great or anything. I'm spending a lot of cash just to have an expensive backup option.

i asked for a couple of quotes from rated installers on this site, I asked for their preferred systems including Victron and SMA which I have a lot of experience installing overseas. All companies replied with basically the same stuff.

ECG came back with Powerwall 3 cheaper than anyone else, actually the price was substantially less than everyone else which was the deciding factor.

The other factor was that the ECG guy actually came to the house to see the install conditions, I could tell they were not BS aussie sparks and had done this stuff a million times. So, the Powerwall is installed now, working fine. The guys who showed up had done it before in ACT so it was quick and smooth.

SIGEN Battery Upgrade of TESLA2

Arranging the quote was easy and was provided in a timely and professional manner. Followup information regarding the offering of the Sigenstor battery as a replacement for the 2 year old Tesla 2 (as it was not upgrade-able to the new Tesla3) was very logical and straightforward.
The installation commenced at the time it was scheduled and took just one day.
We were very impressed with the professional work of the tradies involved and the manner in which the job was performed.
Communication was polite and informative and the worksite was fully cleaned up at end of day.
We would not hesitate to recommend both ECG Electrical and our SIGENERGY Battery system.

Very happy with system and installation of solar & batteries system

I had a full solar and batteries system installed by ECG Electrical Pty Ltd and I can’t fault them. Everything from the quoting, the communication with the admin person in their office and the installation was excellent. The installation team arrived on time, were friendly and helpful, worked really hard and installed the whole system in one day and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. The team leader, Huxley, was lovely, very knowledgeable and professional (as were his whole team) Huxley took the time at the end of the day to explain how to use the system and the app. I’d very much recommend ECG Electrical Pty Ltd for installation of solar panels and solar batteries

Did a good job

Good value quote. Quick and simple to get quotes and adjustments (I had several) made. Was a little sketchy not having a virtual or in person site inspection prior to installation but they coped with problems that came up as a result pretty well. Great communication during install and really quick and efficient. Seems like a great team.

The least pushy sales force, the most trustworthy company.

The sales team were professional and respectful. The quote was the best value for a bigger and better system than the two alternatives we explored.

What was really incredible is the extra effort they went to when I asked to sign on the last working day before the financial year end, when the ACT Govt free loan offer expired. They worked all weekend to process my application and get it to the credit provider in time.

The installation was booked in for a day four months in advance and happened in one day on the very day. Any business which can manage a schedule so reliably must know their stuff.

The three young men who installed were very courteous and friendly. More importantly, they were experts, communicated what they would do, when and how and did it neatly and with no fuss.

The entire process, from initial consultation, through recommendations of the best system for us through the paperwork, grid connection, app setup and after installation follow up was seamless.

If only there were more businesses in Canberra with such a high standard of customer service.

5-Star Solar Installation Experience

I had a fantastic experience with ECG for my solar installation from start to finish. The quote was detailed, transparent, and returned promptly, which gave me confidence right away. They even conducted a site visit before I accepted the quote, taking the time to answer all my questions thoroughly.

Installation was impressively fast—although I was told it could take up to 14 weeks, the system was installed just 3 weeks after I accepted the quote. The team was professional, efficient, and easy to deal with throughout the process.

The customer service was outstanding. Every interaction was friendly, informative, and supportive. They were always available to answer questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and made sure I felt confident in every step. Excellent experience with ECG battery installation

The quoting process was good and provided me with all the information I needed to make a decision about my battery installation. The actual installation was done in a timely and efficient manner. The installation team arrived at 7.30am as they had said they would. They were professional but friendly and I found them very easy to deal with. They were also very tidy and removed all the waste material when they left. The grid connection was organised by the installers and they gave me a run down on how to use the battery at the end of their work. ECG also installed the solar panels on my house roof in 2024 and that job was done to my complete satisfaction as well.

Excellent advice and installation

The team from ECG offered the best quote for a 3x8 kW battery out of three local companies. They were prompt in conducting a site visit and were fully knowledgeable about the standards for battery location.
We agreed on an installation date and they stuck to it, turning up on time and completing the installation that day, despite our house having a few access issues for such heavy equipment. The site was left clean and tidy.
The installers gave me a good run down of the battery operation and they took care of all grid connections and regulatory requirements.
The manual and warranties were provided and the activation of the battery App worked without a hitch.
We had a very good experience and would happily recommend ECG.
