Great install and team!
Great quality install and very happy with the system recommended by EE. Calum was great in listening to our requirements and optimising the build for our location. The install team were very understanding when we wanted to change the location of the battery and did well to complete the install in poor weather conditions. The admin team provided professional communication and were always clear with the process and updates. Would recommend!15 July 2026

Fantastic service
Brilliant experience from quote through to installation. We found the sales team to be honest and transparent in their assessment of our solar production capacity (and limitations), and the admin team's professionalism and communication throughout the whole process was excellent. The guys who did the installation were easy to deal with and hard working, and the office staff were always very responsive. The post installation service has been brilliant. After spending so much money we are disappointed with the service we got and the issues that we had -
We had issue after issue with this company. Communication issues, hardware issues that WE identified and had to keep following up to get resolved, issues with installation including not fully installing the system to start with due to missing components that resulted in overnight loss of power and loss of thawed food, switching off our existing system and didn't turn it back on until we identified the issue a few days later, and a lack of care for the whole situation. Their communication process needs work also.It was all rectified in the end but the whole process took a couple of months and lots of phone calls and stress. After documenting a formal complaint it was literally a fob off and we were told to just pay the bill. No care at all.
My advice if you get them to install a system is monitor it closely for a couple of weeks through the app and ask lots of questions if you are unsure. Don't just expect it to work the way its suppose to.
I will say the initial contact with the first consultant was great and he was very helpful with the start of the process. Just dont expect things to go smoothly especially if you have 3 phase power.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Kelly.We acknowledge there were a small number of installation issues on our part, which were rectified once identified. The inverter/battery fault you experienced was the first occurrence of this issue for this particular product, making it outside the scope of our previous experience. Despite this, our dedicated in-house service team worked closely with the manufacturer in China to investigate and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
We also provided a detailed written response to your formal complaint, and you had the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly with both our Managing Director and Operations Manager.

Expert Electrical Tasmania Great service and price!
I recently chose Expert Energy Tasmania to install a solar and battery system at my home in Alonnah, Bruny Island, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.Max took the time to understand my requirements, wasn’t pushy, and offered a very competitive price on both the solar system and a Tesla Powerwall 3. Other providers clearly added a hefty “Bruny tax”, but Expert Energy Tasmania priced the job fairly and transparently.
On installation day, the technicians arrived on time, confirmed all placement details with me, and got straight to work. As a retired electrician with extensive experience in installation and project management, I pay close attention to workmanship — and this crew impressed me. They worked efficiently as a team, knew exactly what they were doing, and maintained a high standard throughout. Cable runs, conduits, terminations, and overall presentation were all completed to an exceptional standard, followed by a thorough clean?up.
The handover was clear and professional, and the system has been performing flawlessly since installation.
I highly recommend Expert Energy Tasmania for solar, battery, and electrical work. Their professionalism, workmanship, and customer service are first?class.

A fairly seamless experience
Its early days so there is little to say on performance, but the company was really easy to deal with and attentive to questions through the entire quote process. They are way ahead of their competitors in customer service, thats for sure. The installation went well, it took as long as they told me it would take and in general the site was cleaned and the system just...worked ! Well done. The equipment supplied wasn't exactly what I had in mind when i started this process, but I needed a three phase inverter so my choices were limited. So far everything works well.However, as with all companies it's the little things that stick in your mind after they have left the job site. This job was worth about $45k including the rebates, but they couldn't sweep up or supply $20 worth of cable penetrations so i was left looking at a mess. So despite being excellent to deal with overall, this is what I remember. I don't normally want to clean up and order cable penetration covers after the job, but there you go.
Despite that, I would recommend EET.

Great service!
Expert Electrical continue to provide great service. I am very happy with the cost of the initial installation. Compared to other companies Expert Electrical stood out as being prompt, clear and highly affordable. Quality Service From Go to Woe
Expert Electrical definitely lived up to their name! They were the first to contact me of the three companies I obtained quotes from. In fact they contacted the day after SolarQuotes sent my details to them. The other two took 7 to 10 days. Expert Electrical were the only ones to do a site visit and go over all details of what I wanted and offered excellent advice on size and type of system and what would work best to suit my situation. They quoted two systems and I opted for the bigger of the two as it would future proof me and provide best bang for buck.Communication was superb from start to finish. The install team turned up on time and kept me appraised of daily progress over the three days of installation. The team were reasonably tidy (for electricians ;) ) with minimal tidy up left for me to do, but I am pedantic!
Would highly recommend the team at Expert Electrical TAS.

Professional affordable and efficient service
Found the company on google.Phone contact followed by a site visit very quickly. (Unusual in my location)
Quote received and install date locked in.
Lucky for me they had a chance to do it early and it was arranged for the next day.
Fraser was on time, polite, knew his product and had inverter installed in no time.

Excellent package and install
The team did a great job discussing options and optimising for my particular setup. The install was excellent in a tricky location, with them happy to take some time and talk through / answer any questions. The cleanup at the end was thorough even sweeping out the garage! Expert Energy 5* Recommendation
I can highly recommend using Expert Energy for solar panel and battery installations.As one of three companies recommended by Solar Quotes, I contacted Expert Energy and as a result of their very prompt and courteous response I was able to obtain one of the last State Government $10,000 interest free loans for my solar panel and battery installation.
The installation process was a difficult one as the roof of my house is steep, high off the ground, and faces south on a south facing block. Rather than providing a quick design and quote without much thought, Expert Energy were available to look at the site, answer my questions and use their sophisticated programmes to 'optimize' orientation to provide a very successful solution. As a result I now have zero power charges, plus Aurora energy credits, for nine months of the year and low power charges for the three winter months. Cables for a future electric car were also put in.
The installation of the panels, battery and all cables was very neat and tidy, the admin. team were and still are excellent, and there was good post install contact with Calum who helped me to use the solar app provided by the inverter supplier.
Again, I thoroughly recommend using Expert Energy for your solar installation.
