Installer Innovate Energy provides solar, battery, hot water heat pump, EV charger and air conditioning services in Wollongong, Ulladulla, Nowra, Kiama, Jervis Bay, Shellharbour and Canberra, and surrounding areas.

You can rest assured that with Innovate Energy, every installation is checked over by our SAA qualified electricians in our operations team prior to installation, meaning there are no hiccups on the day.
We are here to support all our systems for the life of the installation. Having more than 15 talented staff in roles such as customer service, finance, operations, qualified installers and service technicians allows us to provide unrivalled after- sales service.

Professional and knowledgable
Unpressured and hassle-free sales response, offering an in person quote. Flexibility with times and dates and a technically knowledgable and considered scoping of the solar set up. Answered all our questions at every stage. Responsive follow up at both sales and installation. Efficient knowledgable professional reliable and friendly installation team. Great tidy job. Efficient and knowledgeable from start to finish
From start to finish Innovate was by far the most helpful, efficient and knowledgeable company that we sourced. Whereas other companies pushed their sales pitch and pestered for a quick sale, Kane at Innovate provided all the information we needed, was never pushy, knew the products well and most importantly listened before making suggestions for both battery and panels. I spoke to him several times over a couple of weeks and he was always courteous and informative. On the day of installation the team arrived on time and Alex explained clearly what was happening and kept me informed at each stage, even in the final testing when adjustments had to be made. He made sure everything was working fully before leaving, even after having to make a couple of phone calls when something needed tweaking. Rubbish was cleaned up and app installed. A pleasure to deal with and would thoroughly recommend.Panel rating: 5/5

Excellent service and installation
We got a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery installed by Innovate Energy at our place near Batemans Bay. We had got quotes from a couple of providers and theirs was a fair bit cheaper than the other one who is based in the area. The third quote was from a Melbourne company.I dealt with Kane who was very responsive to our queries and proactive in organizing our installation. Innovative Energy were able to be flexible to fit in with when we would be at home to have it fitted.
The installation was done on the day that was allocated and they arrived when they said they would. The installer, Alex, did a great job and discussed different options for where the battery should be installed. He was able to install it in a better location than I had suggested and this resulted in a reduction in price from the original quote.
Alex was also happy to go through the installation with me and test everything including the battery backup and the app set up before he left.
We were also happy with the process from Solar Quotes who provided 3 suppliers all of whom I think would have done a good job.

Fantastic installation.
Just had 6.6kw solar panels and a 16kw battery installed by Sam and his staff. Very professional. Arrived on time and cleaned up after the work was completed. Sam clearly explained how the system worked so the communication was excellent. I felt comfortable and knowledgeable with the information provided. Thoroughly recommended. Graeme22 September 2025
Excellent Install Team
From the initial sales and system design to the installation of the solar and batteries all went without a problem. Even through some rain showers the installation team persevered to their credit. Any queries I had on the day were answered so I could understand how the system was to perform after installation. A minor issue with an inverter cover was attended to immediately and fixed. Very happy with my choice of Innovate Energy for my solar and battery design and installation.16 September 2025
A1 for the whole process
I went through the process of finding a supplier and installer about 3 years ago. With the aid of Solar Quotes and my own investigations I slowly deleted many of them from my list and eventually Innovate Energy shone out from the remaining bunch.They gave me three quotes, all very good, but for some reason, we didn't proceed.
Later with the Battery Rebate nagging at us I went through the process again, and although Innovate Energy are 2 hours away, they came to the top of the heap again. Knowing what we wanted this time around, we asked for another quote.
The quote was again very good, so we accepted it. Their communication with us was also top notch and they were easy to get along with. They didn't just chuck us in the deep end either. They kept us informed and educated along the way to installation, which also went smoothly and without a hitch. 3 very professional young men turned up and did a thoroughly professional job. Its all very neat and tidy and I'm very happy. All three were courteous and gentlemanly to the ladies who were present here at the time. (no swearing)
I 100% recommend Innovate Energy. this business is run by experts, who employ only professionals and look after them.
The Sales, Admin, Tech and Installation crews are all easy to deal with and are all trustworthy experts.

Wonderful service
The whole process from quotation to installation went seamlessly. Very professional operation. I recommend them unreservedly.
Good service - recommended
Innovate Energy South Coast did sterling work during the quotation phase sizing the system and advising on the appropriate setup - we ended up adding 3kW of panels to the existing 5kW to have better charging assurance during the winter months - battery system installed was 16kWh, based on consumption data we provided, and has proved to be quite adquate over the first couple of months of service. Installation was done within 2 weeks of signing contract and paying deposit, which we were very happy about, and the installation was completed within one day by a very friendly team who went about their work efficiently, tidying up afterwards and explaining the operation. The Goodwe system required the office to set-up the app for us after full payment was received (smart on their part I guess), and the app has worked fine. Recommended.Inverter rating: 5/5
