The company provides residential and commercial solar systems in Perth and the South West region, with a wide range of solar panels, inverters and batteries. Fantastic Solar & Battery Installers!
The quoting process was fantastic. We had a few questions and all were answered promptly and in detail. The communication throughout was 10/10 which is really important to us. After accepting the quote, they turned up on the exact day and time they said they would. The team of installers were very polite, courteous and tidy. They explained to us fully the app and grid connection on completion. We are now really excited to start adding up all our savings! Customer service from the office was also a full 10/10 with their communication on keeping us up to date. I would highly recommend them for your new system or system upgrade on their customer service alone but also believe the system we have chosen (Signergy) is going to be amazing for us. My solar system is going to be installed in February. Koala solar recommended me the three phase system which I think is the best for my house.Price is in the SolarQuotes recommended range and they are willing to keep existing 5kw panels and add 6.6 kW extra panels.
10 months later we asked Sasa: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
So far, no drama at all with system. I am really impressed with gateway. We had blackouts twice and both times didn't notice when power switched to battery.I would recommend SigenStor to anyone

Excellent System, Quality Installation and Great Value
Really happy with the whole experience with Koala Solar.From the initial quote through to scheduling, installation and aftercare, everything was handled professionally and communication was always clear and easy.
The install itself was done to a really high standard. Being an electrician, I probably notice the little things more than most, and I was genuinely impressed with the workmanship, neatness and attention to detail.
You can also tell the business is led by a genuine owner who takes pride in the company and looks after his customers. That seems to carry through the whole team, and it’s easy to see why Koala Solar has such a solid reputation.
Would happily recommend them to anyone looking at getting solar installed.

Happy with installed system
Review after 3 months of ownership.Installation was very clean on the day, came on time and got everything working.
The system selected by the installer seems to be the right size. I had thought about up-sizing, but looking at the performance I think that may have been an over investment.
Initial talk with installer was really good with helpful advice. I paused the process it a couple of months while thinking things over, and subsequent conversations about some technical queries were answered a bit more tersely.
Quality of the system seems great with no problems, but of course that's only 3 months into a 10 year warranty period. The Sigenergy Gateway has saved from a (3 minute) blackout and worked great, only the tiniest flickering of lights made me aware of the switchover.
Have not had any need to call the installer after delivery so can't comment on aftercare.
Energy use has gone from 30 units a day while we had the old 5kw system to 2 units now.

Absolutely the best company! We had such a great experience with Koala Solar. The team showed up right on time, the install went smoothly, and everyone was incredibly friendly. They even waited for me to get home so they could explain the apps. You can really see the effort they put into making the installation neat, clean, and professional.

Professional install and value for Money
From my first contact in person at Koala with the reception staff it was very professional and helpful. They guided me through the process of installing the battery system. The install team arrived on time and after the system was up and running explained how it operated and how I could monitor my power usage. The crew cleaned up the area. Koala Solar - Brilliant
From start to finish Koala Solar were great.They responded to my emails promptly, provided a full detailed quote and gave me an installation date not to far away. In the week before installation they handled all the paperwork and obtained all of the necessary approvals.On installation day, they turned ip in force with a huge crew of guys , right on time and got stuck straight into it. By 12.05pm my complete system was up and runnIng and has been ever since.
The installation was professional and tidy and included 34 panels, 27kw battery, EV charger and a switch board upgrade

Great customer service and installation process

Perfect Performance
Initial contact was polite, efficient and professional. On installation day the team arrived at specified time, advised what the plan was and got to work. I thought it was the perfect install, seemed to install seamlessly, no issues, no broken tiles. Walked through the install, the app and explained everything I needed to know and grid connection. I'm very happy with my decision to go with Koala Solar on my recent Sigeneregy purchase. It was a pleasant experience entirely. I dealt with Sean after the quotes - he never rang me once, which was very refreshing after getting multiple calls per day from compettors.For installation: Not only were Callum and Cory skilled, attentive and confident, but they were both kind, considerate and respectful too. They answered all my questions with a smile, and ensured I was fully informed about how the system operates.

Very happy with the experience of the install
Sales process was very seamless and non pushy.Installation was excellent and the boys went out of their way to replace tiles that they found already broken while they were already up on the roof.

Efficient tidy and compliant
Cal and his team did an awesomely tidy and efficient job of upgrading our solar and adding a battery. We used them for our first solar install years ago and glad we did again for this upgrade. Everything’s compliant, tidy and well explained.

Amazing choice
Very quick installation, the entire setup process was very quick and easy. The staff were very helpful and nice and also told us what every part does and how to use the solar. The actual product works very well and it is giving us lots of power to go into our battery. 10/10 would recommend.24 June 2026
Koala Solar - Great Experience!
Koala Solar were great to deal with from quotation through to installation, making it easy to come up with a recommended system based on existing bills provided.They took care of all the rebates, and the installation day went smoothly with the team turning up on time, and getting the new system setup in 6 hours, and removing the old system. They spent some time taking us through the operation of the system and what to look for if faults do occur.

Excellence!
This company surprised me with Fronius inverter and JA panels on their quote. Same price from big WA solar companies but this one gave me the high end system and a satisfying customer service. It's my 6th week now after instation of my 6.6Kw solar system and everything works well. Great value for money, excellent investment and quality system set. Koala Solar
Our house needed re-roofing as it had roof tile cancer so our previous system had to go - we had the panels and inverter removed before attendance by Koala Solar. We wanted a replacement solar system with battery to fill our needs for most of the year. As we get the odd blackout and brownout, we also wanted a gateway for mains fail protection.After speaking with various companies, we decided on a Sigenergy system (10kW panels, 5kW inverter, 16kWh battery). Koala Solar were the most competitive quote that we received. No fuss, their quote was straightforward and well presented with all information. I had some additional questions so I called by phone, and all questions were answered to my satisfaction.
Communication was excellent, we received emails and texts confirming the installation date. On the day, their electricians turned up at the appointed time, they were clearly very experienced, highly skilled and professional. The installers were fully prepared. After a short inspection and discussion about where everything would go, I let them get on with their work. They were finished on schedule about 5 hours later and to a very high standard of workmanship. On completion, they gave me a short training course and walked me through all the actions that I may need to take, including operation of the gateway, shut-down procedures, etc.
Before they left, they removed remnants of the old solar system such as switches and excess wiring. They cleaned up excellently with no rubbish remaining behind. The system as performed flawlessly since installation and we are very pleased with its performance.
I would not hesitate to recommend Koala solar to anyone wanting a new solar system installed. Very competitive rates, good communication and extremely competent, professional installation team.

A well organised company
Koala Solar had the most competitive quote for the system that I wanted, and positive reviews so went with them for my new solar and battery system with full home backup.From the initial design and fully itemised quote I received, to the processing of rebates was handled with no fuss and professionalism from the staff in the office.
Install day came around and the guys turned up on time as promised and worked nonstop for 6 hours installing the complete system. Before they left, the app and operation of the system was explained to me, and a full test was performed to make sure everything was working as it should. All rubbish was taken away and the place left clean except for my shiny new battery.
Now just need some sunny weather to see what the system can produce!

Completed Early, clean and efficient
Koala installed our original solar system and, with the great experience that was, it was natural we would look for a quote from them. Adam checked our old system, listened to what we wanted to do and designed a system to suit. An installation date was agreed and the installers arrived on time. The installation was carried out very efficiently and they cleaned up after the installation really well. All waste materials were removed from site.Due to the configuration of the system, there were a couple of issues with connecting them but the installers figured out a way to get it done and left me with a Sigenergy system that has worked efficiently from day 1.
Highly recommend Koala not just for the install but their pre-and post sales service.

Great service - professional installation - Koala Solar!
I can't fault the experience with Koala. I was looking at a couple of providers at the same time for different solar only and solar + battery solutions following the purchase of an EV. The sales/quoting team at Koala were great - very helpful with finding what suited my needs and great knowledge of the products used. I found other companies to be pushy and trying to upsize the system beyond what I needed for extra cash.The admin side of things was also handled very smoothly. All communication was prompt and relevant rebate paperwork was completed for me ahead of time.
I did have to wait a while for the installation but I expect this is to do with the popularity of the business. Quoted in December 25 and installed in April 26.
The installation team were friendly, professional, polite and cleaned up after themselves. All aspects of the installation from racking, wiring, placement of assets was done to a very high standard and I would use them again if I moved house.
I was shown exactly how to download and use the Sigenergy app. All questions I had were answered and the system starting working exactly how described!
Would 100% recommend Koala solar to anyone!

Quality install & value for money.
Koala Solar where fantastic to deal with from choosing a system & booking installation date. The orientation of the photovoltaic panels & new inverter positioning due to future block subdivision where all addressed. Installation went extremely well & where on time . All staff where polite & worked efficiently. All old photovoltaic panels & inverter where taken away, wall holes sealed & work site was left clean. Smooth process from quote to installation
We were recommended to use Koala Solar by a colleague who had heard good feedback from other sources and we approached them for a quote a few months ago. We received a quote very promptly and after a few queries and changes, we decided on an option to suit us.Koala Solar explained what to expect during the application process and kept us fully informed of any paperwork that was needing to be completed and followed up throughout the whole process.
Once the quote was accepted, an installation date was nominated for a few months ahead and on the installation day the Koala Solar crew of 4 turned up on time and were straight into getting the job done. Each one had their specific tasks and ensured that the work was completed promptly and efficiently, with the entire installation process being completed in just half a day. The guys cleaned up thoroughly and didn't leave anything for us to clean up.
The guys went through the software install process and made sure that we understood how the system would work, answering any questions before they left.
We are very pleased with the new installation and are happy to recommend Koala Solar for future work.

Battery Install Done Well
Received a competitive quote to add batteries to our existing PV system in early in January 2026. Tweaked the quote a couple of times to add an extra module and increase the inverter size. All revisions quickly acknowledged and updated.Koala Solar already very busy so job booked in for late April. Received several emails from Western Power advising our application was being processed in the months preceeding install day and all was good to go when the team rocked up to install the batteries.
They took note of my description of the house construction, water pipe runs and preferred location for equipment and did their best to accommodate my wishes. Didn't all go to plan but perseverance paid off and we now have a neat, functional battery system with 3phase backup and an EV charger.
All rubbish disappeared into the back of their van so job site left spotless. A quick tutorial on the app was given and we were provided with advice on how to get better acquainted with the system.
Happy with the process and outcome.

The best choice for anything solar, Koala!
The sales/quoting process was a breeze with no pushy sales tactics, honest advice, great knowledge and a solution that suited me!The admin team were also outstanding booking my install quickly, following up with all relevant rebate paperwork and offering support when needed.

Great Service
After having a negative experience with another Solar installation company I turned to Koala Solar. The customer service was excellent, the girls in the office made the paperwork process seamless and the installation was very efficient and tidy. Great buying and installation experience.
The process with Koala Solar was great from start to finish. Effortless sales and quoting experience and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. Their pricing was fair and transparent and they came out with a better deal than some others wanted for smaller systems of the same brand/models - and they could install it sooner than some of the others.Arrived exactly at the time/date in a punctual manner and their team was immediately at work setting up the system in an efficient, tidy and professional manner. Everything went up in less than half a day as there was a team of guys all working on a different job so there werent any delays. The guys were great, kept me informed through the day and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a new system.

Fantastic Customer Service and Seamless Installation
We had been looking and reviewing the solar and battery installation for some 12 months and had spoken with many companies along the way. Some very good and some not so good. It was all becoming very complexed and confusing and whilst we thought we had final decided on an installer, we spoke with a family member who had just finished having their solar system installed on their two storey home.They detailed what interaction they had with the team at Koala Solar and the support and advice they had received. So we decided that we would talk to one more installer, and that was Koala Solar. We are so glad we did, not only were they able to work with us through the number of questions we had, they were patience and very supportive of our requirements. The team at Koala Solar went through the options and system available and provided strong documentation is support of the proposed system. Their Team was not pushy or dismissal of our questions and thoughts around the best system for us.
We finally decided on a great system with top 5 rated products, that came in cheaper then the bigger installer that we had contacted.
On install date, the team were professional and well presented. They walked us through the whole system and we are more than happy with the system.
Well done Koala Solar, and I would strongly recommend them to all who ask.

This is the second time I have commissioned Koala Solar to install a solar panel system to my home. Koala Solar is a very professional, quality installer. The sales process was thorough and all grid connection and rebate applications were completed well in advance of installation. Review
We had a previous system installed by Koala Solar at our previous address. We were happy with their product and customer service then so it really was a no brainer to go with a reliable company.Once again we were very impressed with the customer service from start to finish. The two guys who installed the panels and inverter were very efficient, made no mess and explained how the system works and helped set up the app for monitoring the system.
