Could not have asked for better service

All aspects from the first online query to completed installation could not have gone better. The team provided advice based on our current need and not on what they wanted to sell. Not pushy, very helpful and responded to my questions and requirements in an understanding and professional manner.

Installed earlier than I thought may be the case which was perfect given the recent heat. Chris and his team mate (sorry for not remembering your name) were excellent to work with during installation.

I have the worst roof tiles ever conceived which made things more difficult, but they were so careful and completed a brilliant install. Well done lad's.

On time, installation quality of a high standard ( I am a trades person so I should know), cheerful and helpful installers.
From what I can tell so far, I am optimistic that after sales service is likely to be good.
Hard to comment on value for money in a diverse and competitive market, so I'm not sure, but I think it is reasonable for a company with good backup. Price was not the only issue by which I chose this company.

Service beyond expectation!

We had spoken with a number of solar providers and always thought it was too hard and the ROI just wasn't there. Then we spoke to Ozora - and they took over the whole process- streamlined from quote to fully functional- You wouldn't even know there were panels on our roof the way they have been placed- so it's not the eyesore that is often associated with panels all over your roof. The guys on site were always on time and polite and took the time to explain what was happening, and another plus there was no "tradie" mess left behind when they had completed the work- they took all the rubbish away and left the space as it was when they arrived. Had we known the process could be this simple we would have made the move to Ozora and solar much earlier!

Fantastic and professional quote and installation.

Configuration of panels perfect. Installer was great.

Configuration of panels on my roof was tricky due to spacing. They were the only one to get all panels on northern aspect neatly.

Installers stayed late to make up for last time due to weather and being down one person than normal. Installer did a good job with refactoring sub board for optimal circuit usage in tight space.

System has worked flawlessly sine install a week or so ago.

Great Install

Matt Nunn was great to deal with, excellent communication. The installation team was friendly, respectful and professional. They seems to take pride in their work to make sure I'd be happy with the install. Overall they did a great job with a very neat and tidy install. The little things we very good too, like making sure they cleaned up properly after their work!

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Matt in the office was my first point of call, who was very professional at every level. Never missed a time or deadline. All paperwork was on time and correct.

Communications from Reg in regards to the install was super, kept me up to speed at every step of this.

James and Reg were great on the job, did a super job and were fussy just like me when it comes to neatness.

Matt Nunn was brilliant throughout the whole process. Happy to answer all of my annoying questions, RE-quote my many requests for system alterations and gave us excellent pricing. Exceptional service and process

Matt Nunn came out to give us a quote. He was very informative and explained everything to us. He gave us options with or without a battery and at no stage did we feel pressured into purchasing anything.
Matt was 100% honest with us and his quote was sent to us when he said it would (and came in cheaper than our other quotes for the same product)
Our system was installed when they said it would be installed and the installation team lead by Mitch were all very respectful and made sure everything was clean and tidy when completed. I could not fault the whole process in any way.

Quality installation, friendly staff.

Matt from Platinum contacted me promptly after signing up to get my quotes and was exceptionally friendly and helpful with figuring out what I wanted from my system and accommodating my choice of panels and the best overall system size to fit my roof. The quote process was fast and easy and we chose Platinum over the others based on the quality and attention to detail they were offering.

The day of installation the guys were right on time and lead installer Mitch went through with me what was going to happen and to take any requests I had. The initial panels I requested weren't available on the day but they did have the same model in a slightly lower rated wattage, but to compensate they offered to spend some time rearranging the layout on my roof so they could fit an extra panel to make up the shortfall. Both Matt and Mitch were very accommodating to help make me reassured with what was happening.

The installers did a great job, with neat and tidy cable work, and left things nice and clean afterwards. Overall I am very happy I chose Platinum Electricians for my solar installation.

Terrific Service and Communication. Very Professional installation.

Fantastic service and installation
Matt was very quick to contact us, visit us, explain everything in detail and provide a VERY competitive quote. We accepted, and Platinum's admin staff quickly arranged an installation date. They kept us well informed through the whole process, and Matt replied promptly to the many questions I sent him in the lead up to our installation date.
They removed our old system and installed the new system in a very professional manner. They did an exceptionally neat job of installation - both inside and outside the roof space. Mitch (the lead installer) was brilliant to work with, and he explained everything, and where there were decisions to make regarding the best placement of panels, he talked that through with me. Both Mitch and Matt went out of their way to make sure I was happy with the installation - Huge thankyou for that. The rest of the installation team were also excellent workers and always friendly and courteous. I can VERY highly recommend Platinum Electricians for Solar Installations.

Very professional and customer focussed

A representative came to the property and talked through my expectations and answered all of my questions which was also well supported in the quote. They were very clear about the installation process and the design etc.
The installers where on time and very polite and tidy. There was a bit of an issue identified due to the age of my house. However a swift resolution and alternative plan was agreed. The installers and the sales rep worked through the situation and the work was completed within the time advised. The installers also went through the set up and app.
Platinum Electrical organised everything including the grid connection after the install.

Apart from the overcast weather all is operating as expected.

Very pleased with the whole process and definitely recommend Platinum Electrical. Very professional operators.

Great company

Matt and the boys from platinum were amazing, Unfortunately due to the weather we're unable to complete the install in one day but Kept me informed throughout the whole process and came back to finish the job in a reasonable time. The boys on-site were very polite and professional and took me through the process of how to download and use the app to monitor my solar. And while this was all going on the lady back in the office was taking care of the paperwork for my engery provider. So I literally didn't have to do a thing. It was all taken care of for me. They even did a couple of other jobs for me while they were here.

Great salesperson followed by quality installation

I requested an on site visit as part of my solar quote process, and the Platinum salesman was on time to within a minute of the agreed time. Matt was personable, knowledgeable and able to tailor his pitch at varying technical levels to reduce tech anxiety. He was able to adjust the quote and also gave options regarding brands, which was reassuring. All liaising with energy suppliers was taken care of and they were able to explain the new rules regarding solar feed in restrictions simply.

The install team was on time, tidy and the work was carried out by inhouse installers to a high standard. Mitch took personal responsibility and followed up the minor glitches setting up the app and answering operating questions.

Platinum installation

Matt Nunn was the first (very quick) to respond after I got the 3 recommendations from SolarQuotes. He was quick to answer all my questions and to give me 2 quotes for a 6.6 Kw and 10 Kw systems on request. When he came for an on-site inspection he gave me good information that helped me decide which system to get. The installation date was as planned. They organised the grid connection promptly. Mitchell Riley and his team were great in the installation and very prompt to answer follow up questions regarding the inverter app on the day of meter upgrade. Matthew and Tania, admin staff were excellent too and made me feel like I am a platinum client! I am very happy to recommend Platinum Electricians Hindmarsh to my family and friends.

We were very pleased with Platinum Electricians Hindmarsh. They were great with explaining everything before we decided to go with them. Got all information through email same day. Compared to all other Solar systems we got quoted they were the best priced for what we wanted. The installation was awesome the two young guys that came out did a really great job and always answered any questions that we had. On time, on budget and first class from start to finish

Platinum Electricians were fantastic to deal with from the first contact. Matthew organised an onsite inspection promptly, which he attended (and was to the second on time).Quoting procedure was quick, clean and easy. There was no sales pitch to buy a battery I didn't want (or need). Platinum's team designed a system and layout to fit our roof space and deliver what was required, with the option to piggyback in a battery and car charger at a later point if desired. I organised half a dozen quotes before proceeding , Platinum was neither the cheapest nor the dearest in flat dollar terms. In real dollar terms I believe Platinum to be exceptional value as the process was incident free, prompt and installation was precise. They have used high quality components and their installation team lead by Mitchell were fantastic. Keeping in line with the whole process the install team were punctual, polite , hardworking and delivered quality workmanship that they took great pride in. Other than the solar panels and the inverter they did not even leave foot prints you could see! When the job was completed our property was exactly as it was before they arrived. Given it was cold and sleety rain for a fair part of the second day it could have been very easy to duck off early and perhaps take a few short cuts but the installation team stayed well after standard finishing times to ensure the job was completed in the quoted time frames and that everything was spotless for which we are very appreciative. Well done Platinum.

Switched on Installers

We were quickly contacted by three companies to provide quotes but Platinum promptly arranged a time to come visit our home, assess the site and sit down and ask and answer all the relevant questions to get to know our current solar requirements and those we anticipate in the future.
Within days of accepting their quote they were on site and installing the panels, inverters and battery.
Installers were always on time, knowledgeable, polite and kept us informed throughout the process even in the searing heat on a hot tin roof.
Grid connection was arranged by them via our electricity provider but is still ongoing, through no fault of Platinum, as there has been an extended wait time for SA Power Networks to attend the property.
Next week we'll flick the switch and be on our way to no/low bills and always on power.

Very responsive, on time, explained, followed up

The quote process was excellent. Matt arrived on time, came out to the house, listened (we had an existing system), and tailored the solution.

They replaced my existing PV system and inverter at no cost, and they guaranteed the materials will be recycled as much as possible.

Platinum themselves do the work, and they pride themselves on that.

Very polite, professional. Provided advice on covers.

There was great follow-up customer service. I had queries about the reading on the app etc.

The guys left the place in a cleaner state that it was. It was nice to hear the chat and banter as they seemed to enjoy their work.

Smart, quiet, efficient

The quote process was same day (!) and genuinely informative and paced at a techno level that was ok for me. Clearly he could have gone geek or simpler if he wanted. Good explanation of how things work that allowed the right product to emerge naturally. The office was a pleasure to call and they were totally on top of the process. The boss was always available and never rushed. The young men who did the installation were a pleasure to have around: smart, quiet, efficient and worked steadily over two days. And they handled a difficult neighbour with great diplomacy, beyond expectation. A neat job nicely positioned, and a thorough cleanup that showed no hint they had even been there.

Easy and Efficient Solar Installation

Fantastic experience dealing with Matt Nunn from Platinum Electricians.

He came to the house promptly after being contacted to provide a quote. The quote was emailed that night and an install date provided in line with my date request. Once I had paid the deposit it was all confirmed.

The installers were on time, worked quickly, left the place clean and tidy and by the end of the day our system was up and going. A couple of our roof tiles were cracked in the process due to being old and brittle and the boys sourced some and replaced and even left us with a few spare! All within install day!

Matt emailed that night to follow up and provided us with photos of the installation and organised the grid connection with our energy provider so we didn't have to.

Excellent Service

We have just upgraded our solar system and couldn't be happier. The process was really easy and Matt's customer service, knowledge and attentiveness was 5 star. Everyone at Platinum were really easy to deal with and answered all my questions quickly and attentively. Platinum handled all the paperwork and submissions and installed our new system with no hassles. The installation boys were champs, getting onto our roof and spending the whole day in the incredible heat to ensure our system was installed as promised. Fantastic team

Matt was fantastic right from the beginning. His communication was clear and made you understand everything. He assured me that he would be my go to guy should I experience any issues later and not a call centre. Installation was arranged for 22 Dec but then received a call from Matt on 19 Decto say they had a cancellation for the next day and if they could install . A team of 5 guys arrived on time and got to work. By the afternoon the system was operational. Matt did a follow-up call after installation and again in January after he returned from holidays. So far I am extremely happy. Will definitely add the battery later when the ROI has improved.
