Nice work
The quoting process was straightforward with no pressure. Installation was completed on time, and the team was friendly, respectful, and cleaned up afterwards. Dealt with Mel the sales person, he was easy to talk too and advise me in all the brands and the best one. After the install he continues to help me throughout the process of my battery and solar set up, any questions I had he was able to answer then all and guide me through the whole process. From Quarterly Bills to Electricity Credits. Thanks DSW Energy!
I rarely write reviews, but DSW Energy truly deserves one.Before choosing an installer, I researched extensively and obtained several quotes. After speaking with Jack from DSW, I felt confident because he wasn’t focused on selling the most expensive system. Instead, he carefully analysed my electricity usage and recommended a solution that suited my household perfectly.
I proceeded with the installation of a SolaX X1-HYBRID-5.0-D hybrid inverter paired with a SolaX Triple Power T-BAT HS28.8 battery system (28.8 kWh), and the quality of the installation was excellent. The cabling is clean, the equipment is professionally installed, and everything looks neat and well planned.
The best part has been the results.
Looking back through my Origin Energy billing history tells the whole story. Prior to the installation, I was paying quarterly electricity bills of around $200–$450, depending on the season.
After the system was installed in July, everything changed.
From 12 August onwards, every electricity bill has been in credit, with balances including:
* +$122.16 Credit
* +$79.67 Credit
* +$23.17 Credit
Seeing my electricity account consistently remain in credit instead of receiving bills has been one of the best investments I’ve made.
The battery intelligently stores excess solar energy during the day and powers my home throughout the evening and overnight, significantly reducing my reliance on the grid. The savings have been even better than I expected.
Equally important is DSW’s customer service. Jack has always been available whenever I had questions, and the support after installation has been just as good as it was before the sale.
If you’re comparing solar companies, my advice is simple: don’t just compare prices. Compare knowledge, honesty, installation quality and long-term support. DSW delivered on every one of those.
A huge thank you to Jack and the entire DSW team. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to anyone considering solar or battery storage. The results speak for themselves, and I couldn’t be happier with my investment. Five stars without question.

Over and beyond my expectations! Great service!
First company that actually listened to me when I said I wasn’t after the most expensive system as I am not looking to pay extra for a brand.I thought getting a battery as large as we got would be way outside my budget but was surprised with what was offered and couldn’t say no as was so reasonably priced.
I have never heard of anyone have after sales as helpful as Jack has been for me! I messaged after hours expecting next day support as my work day is always busy but he has fixed any concerns overnight on more than one occasion.
The system has saved us more than I anticipated and also unlocked other tariff options I didn’t think about for me since the system can charge from the grid. We even have since got 2 new ev’s so relying more on electricity and my bills are extremely low.
The solar app functionality is amazing and does all I need it to do plus more!
I cannot say thank you enough!

Great service great value product we got a lot for our money!
Very happy with our solar system. Joe was lovely to talk with. The installers did a great job and the price for what we got was better than the competition. We got a 16kw battery instead of a 10kw battery and an extra 1.2kw of panels for a little bit under the price of the ofher company. They were also fast - within two weeks of paying they installed it. Solax has been a great product for my setting
Jordan and Jack were quick to provide competitive quotes and advice on battery size and brands. I chose a 40kWh Solax battery thinking it would be oversized. I frequently use 30kWh or more a day and have been using charging from the grid with GloBird.Sparkies were efficient and completed a clean install.
After having some issues with an undersized isolation fuse tripping when charging from the grid the team inspected the setup and upgraded the fuse to better suit 6 months after initial installation.

Good decision
The Solax Inverter and Battery system works very well and I like the monitoring app as it provides great feedbacks, easy to read graphics.Jack the Solar Specialist was great. Immediate response, informative and clear. Appreciates the setting up of Chat Group for system help - very useful and important selling point for after sale service.
Installation was professional and tidy. Installer was punctual and polite. Good team.

Solax Battery Installation
I had a great experience with DSW Energy. Excellent experience from start to finish
I was very impressed with the DSW team from the start of the process through to installation. The installation was a little different, as the property has an older-style 2-phase power supply, which seemed to confuse at least one of the other providers from whom I sought quotes. The salesman was knowledgeable and accounted for the 2-phase difference, quoting the correct system the first time. Coordinating the installation went smoothly, and then the installation team did a great job, getting the job done promptly and without fuss, and described its operation in a very easy-to-understand way. Excellent installation and system performance
DSW installed a Solax battery and a hot water meter for my solar setup, and the whole experience was outstanding. The installation team was professional, friendly, and punctual, and they kept everything tidy throughout the job. Very careful and thought out transaction
We organised to get a battery through Direct Solar. Wholesaler and within a very short period we were up and running. Neil who was our sales person gave us what we thought was a very honest and solid plan for our battery, We were surprised at how quickly they managed this. We were suggested a Solax system and it is a very complete system. The guys who came out and installed it were great. They were well and efficient cleaned up very afterwards and gave his exactly what we wanted and where we wanted it. Most importantly there after sales service has been really good. Obviously it is a steep learning curve to get up to speed with how to interact with an electricity provider to optimise your value and DSW have just been so helpful in setting things up afterwards. Professional, quick and Patient. Great work thank you!
The Sales and quoting experience was quite easy and reassuring. Jarrod was very patient with us as we took our time to look into every option and he answered all of our questions prompt, calm and precise he really made us at ease with buying this solution.I was away for the installation, but Will kept me up to date at all times through the day sending me photo's. They installed the system within the day and without any issues. I came home to a very nice setup
I didn't need to do anything else except pay for the system DSW did the rest.
Unfortunately I wasn't home to be shown over it, but Will helped me connect the app over the phone and it was very simple and intuitive to use.

Great Customer Service!
We found DSW a pleasure to deal with through all interactions with them.Phone calls and email queries were dealt with promptly, pricing was good and arranging the installation was smooth and trouble free.
We installed a Solax battery which was recommended by DSW, I also checked with a friend who is an electrician and he also recommended Solax.
The installation day went smoothly, workers turned up on time and cleaned up after themselves.
We have absolutely no complaints with this company and would recommend them without any hesitation.

Smooth Sailing
We have a very positive experience. DSW were recommended by a friend, and with good reason. The whole process form initial enquiry to installation was easy, great communication, on time and efficient. We were told 2 days for installation, and it was completed in 1. 3 weeks in and all working well- great job. We had 4 quotes and price was very comparable.Supplier Reply:

Fantastic Installer !
It was a very pleasant experience in the sales/quoting process. Fiona is absolutely outstanding in her work! She is professional and knowledgeable in the field she works at and that is a big plus to her sales and customer service which made us feel ease of mind. Without Fiona's great patience and the time input, we would not be able to reach the deal. She is an excellent salesperson who knows customer mindset very well. She is no doubt a great asset to DSW Energy.The installation was perfect! The installation team arrived on time. They were so efficient and skillful to set up the worksite with no flaws at all. They were friendly and precise in every step of the installation.
Customer service is wonderful thanks to Fiona! She explained to our questions in a clear and easy to understand manner.
DSW's Operation Team helped organize the grid connection after the install. The install team technician patiently showed us how to use the charge, and everything related to the solar system. Fantastic Installation, Excellent after-sale service
I had a really great experience with DSW Energy from start to finish.I’m personally quite particular about workmanship, and I have to say the installation quality exceeded my expectations. The team was professional, efficient, and most importantly, the final result was extremely clean and tidy — you can tell they take real pride in their work.
After-sales support has also been excellent. Any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the system and the company.
I would definitely recommend DSW Energy to anyone considering solar.
On the system itself, I’m very happy with SolaX. It may not have all the flashy features or “cool factor” of some newer brands, but what matters to me is reliability and long-term performance. At the end of the day, this is a long-term investment, and stability is far more important.
Overall, very satisfied with both the installer and the system.

Fantastic professional solar and battery provider whose service from start to finish provides you with a great product and 100% confidence in the services being provided
Direct Solar Wholesalers (DSW) were fantastic to deal with right from the start of the initial enquiry through to the completion of the installation. I had 2 existing solar systems and was looking to replace the old 5 kW system with a new 6.6kW system and integrate it with my other existing 6.6kW system and install a 40KwHr fully integrated house back up system. I had numerous questions about the upgrade and how it was all going to be integrated by Jordan from their technical team was amazing. He generally responded the same day and all my technical queries were fully answered which then gave me 100% confidence to proceed with the order. DSW understood my needs and the system that was supplied and installed has to date, has met and exceeded all my expectation. When it came to the installation, Jackson and his team did a fantastic neat and very professional installation on the day. Upon arrival, we had a chat about the various components, how and where they were going to be installed and the team did a fantastic job. My normal electrician was actually at the house after the completion of the installation and commented on what a neat and professional installation that Jackosn and his team had done. Right from the start of quotation, through to technical support and completion of the required certification documentation, i couldn't fault the DSW team. I would unreservedly give a 100% recommendation to DSW if you are considering a solar and battery upgrade for your home.
