Expert Electrical a family-owned and operated company. Based in Brisbane's Brendale, the firm serves customers as far away as Central Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Head electrician and company principal Ben Jones started installing solar solutions in 2010 and since that time the company has completed more than 10,000 solar installations.
Along with grid-connect solar and battery solutions, Expert Electrical specialises in off-grid PV and energy storage, and also offers EV charger supply and installation.

Smooth Process & Professional Installation
The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. The sales team were extremely helpful throughout the process, always quick to respond to any questions and very clear with their communication. Everything they promised was delivered.The installation itself was efficient and completed quickly. The team was punctual, professional, and left everything neat and tidy. Communication on the day was easy, and they made sure everything was understood before finishing up.
Overall, a very smooth and hassle-free experience. Highly recommend.

Great Installer SEQ - Expert Electrical
Lee from EE provided us with 3 quotes - one with just solar, one with Sigenergy 24 kW battery and one with 40 kW battery, 10 kW Inverter and Gateway with 2 timers for 2 x HWS. We ended up deciding on a 32 kW battery.The installer guys (3) got the 30 solar panels (14.25 kW ) and system up in one day. They were punctual & tidied up after.
The grid connection was organised after contract signed & deposit paid but before installation. (Already had a Smart Meter)
The system operated while they were here but went down next morning. After contacting their office an appointment was arranged for someone to come out 3 days later and it was fixed. Solar system is working fine now.
We are happy with Expert Electrical.(May need to get a cover as location is in morning sun).

Highly recommend Expert Electrical
From start to finish, my experience with this local solar company was outstanding. I first received quotes from Lee, who was clear, informative, and respectful—something I truly appreciated. He took the time to explain my options and gave excellent advice without any pressure.The installation, carried out by Jayden and his team, was exceptional. They were courteous, professional, and worked seamlessly together. They arrived exactly when they said they would, completed the job with minimum fuss, and left the area spotless when they finished. Their workmanship was high quality, and the overall price was very competitive.
Communication with the office staff, including Martina, was always prompt and friendly. Every enquiry was answered quickly, and the whole process felt smooth and well-coordinated.
As a woman, I particularly valued being treated with respect and spoken to as an intelligent decision-maker. Their approach was genuine, helpful, and refreshingly down-to-earth.
I am extremely happy with the solar panels and battery installation and would highly recommend this local team to anyone looking for reliable, professional service.

EE initially engaged to find solutions as the system was not functional immediately after install, and we can now utilise solar through the day. Unfortunately, the gateway is not functional, so we cannot access battery at all. Despite reaching out, yet again, we have had no solutions and have simply been told we have to wait until the new inverter is installed at an undefined point in the future. Again. Beyond frustrated and just exhausted by this process.
I'll happily update if we have a positive outcome from all of this, but so far we're apparently "unlucky" and just have to wait, with no further attempts to get our gateway or battery connected to our load until the new inverter is available. Even more frustrating that we live semi-rural with a somewhat unreliable grid and have 2+ power outages a year.

Excellent Service and Professionalism
This is the fifth electrical job Expert Electrical have completed for me and as usual they were fantastic from start to finish! From quoting on the job to installing my new Sigenergy battery, the guys at Expert Electrical were great! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at upgrading to a new battery system or for any general electrical work! Look no further than Expert Electrical!!!
From the very beginning, I « clicked » with Matt who was my first main point of contact at EE. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my extensive questionning. Having been researching solar installers and systems for a few months, I met my match with Matt. He was able to advise me on the products that would best suit our needs and did so in an ever professional and timely manner. Price was extremely competitive and negotiations were smooth, measured and fair.From then on followed an extremely smooth sales and booking process to get the system installed (14 x Longi solar panels + Sigen Inverter + Sigen Battery). Install was initially scheduled for 5th Dec but with some luck was brought forward to 25th Nov. Despite the last minute change, Martina and Matt attended my property on the day before install during the heavy SE QLD storms, and kindly ran me through the last few details, putting our needs above theirs. They were both attentive, kind and super responsive to my every questions. Install proceeded as planned the next day and I couldn’t give any more praise to Jayden and his team for doing such an amazing job. It was prompt, neat, clear and without hassle on the day of install. They were in at 7.20am and out at 1.30pm leaving us with a neat, tidy and operational system which got us through a power outage we didn’t even notice despite the entire area being without power. Couldn’t speak any highly of EE, from the start to completion to the follow ups post install, we are so very happy to have turned to EE for our solar install. These guys know their stuff and they’ll take really good care of you. Honestly, look no further. They’re simply awesome and I wouldn’t not hesitate one second to reach out to them for assistance. Even for all our future electrical needs, that’s who I’ll go to.

Great installers
Only ordered a battery, our solar system was installed before we bought the house. Took a couple of months but I understand they are very busy. Very professional and friendly installers. They had a small issue with the available of BYD batteries which I originally ordered but they gave me a Fronius Reserva system at no extra cost. Great communication from Expert Electrical on the day of the install.

Great customer service & fantastic installation
We decided to go ahead with Expert Electrical for a few reasons. 1. Lee who came to our house was a really good sales rep who educated us in solar systems like none of the other reps did. He went through thoroughly what would be best for our living situation and our home. 2. The price was within our budget and comparable to other companies that didn't even bother making a visit. 3. Installation date was not too far in the future. We were lucky though as they called us when they got a cancellation and we got it all installed about a week or two after we signed the contract.We're super happy with the solar system Expert Electrical installed, their customer service, price and communication. Highly recommend anyone looking for solar to use Expert Electrical.

Fantastic from quote to install!
Expert Electrical were the only company willing to give us a quote months from our house being built. Every other company ignored us, or said come back a month from completion and weren't willing to engage.The team were friendly, and communication was amazing from beginning to end. Answered all questions and gave honest recommendations.
We couldn't get our solar installed the week of move in, but as we had an EV they came and installed the charger early for no additional cost. We also had a two and a half day installation quote for the solar, they had to cancel the initial install due to staffing issues. On the next date they could attend they sent out three teams to get the install done in under a day.
Have more electrical work and a battery to be installed, will be using them for all the work.

Very thankful I chose Expert Electrical
I am very thankful that I went ahead with Expert Electrical. I contacted quite a few installers for quotes. Expert Electrical accurately identified my requirements and provided the right product for the job. My initial quotation phase was done before the battery rebate, once the battery rebate was revealed Expert Electrical postponed the install to allow myself the option to make adjustments. This clearly shows they aim to put the customer first. During this postponement they adjusted the system to fit a few extra panels which was a pleasant surprise. Yes there were extensive delays with install and commissioning, this was by no means their fault as the battery rebate has caused chaos in the industry with supply chain disruptions that are out of installers control. The install of the system was clean and professional.Thank you again Expert Electrical.

Great service
We had to go completely off grid as it was going to cost over 200k to get connected. Scott was able to show us equivalent houses and what they have experienced in real time in the dead of winter. It gave us confidence that we won’t need to be worried about our consumption except for a few days a year.Quoting was easy, install was great. Zero issues.

Top quality experience and workmanship
Expert Electrical installed ducted air conditioning and a solar/battery system in our house and we couldn't be happier. The quotation process was smooth - Matthew was super helpful and incredibly patient with all my questions! Martina made the booking process extremely easy and communicated everything clearly to me.When it came time for the installation, Caleb and the team turned up on time, were very respectful, clean and friendly and the work was done to a very high standard. There was a miscommunication about the location of one of the vents, but the guys were extremely apologetic and organized a tradesman to come and repair the hole the same day - we can't even see where it was! Caleb and the guys were great to work with and they completed all the work in less time than quoted. I can't recommend them enough!

Honestly could not be happier!
We are absolutely thrilled with our new solar and battery backup installation from Expert Electrical. I had been obsessing over trying to find the right installer for a few weeks already, when I got in touch with Expert Electrical. Right from the start with them the whole process was just wonderful. The sales guy was very personable and informative and helpful and he was extremely responsive. We got a great quote for an exciting system, and talking to their main installer Caleb about various specific details also instilled a lot of confidence that we had made the right choice.On the day of the install, Caleb and his team were really efficient. All on the same day they removed our old solar system and installed the newer larger solar system (28 Aiko panels) and battery backup (24 kWh from Sigenergy). Everybody on the team was really nice and polite and the install looks really tidy.
They also took care of all the paperwork, and all the rebates were already calculated into the final amount to pay, so it was all super easy. We were also provided with instructions on how to use the system and ample documentation, including photos of some of the installation details.
In our case, the added benefit is also that they have their business very close to where we live.

Great solar install experience
We recently had solar installed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was friendly, reasonably priced, and incredibly helpful throughout the installation and setup. They took the time to answer our questions and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend
Great team, great service and great job - cannot ask for more
From start to finish, the process was outstanding. Lee handled the pre?sales and quotation which was clear and one of the simplest, easiest to understand quotes I’ve seen.Martina managed the pre?installation coordination with clear, timely communication and kept everything on track.
On installation day, Caleb - the owner - was on the tools the entire day, leading from the front alongside Nick, Braydon, and Braiden. They arrived as arranged, worked with real professionalism, and delivered an excellent job.
Even after uncovering a serious non?compliant issue left by the original electrical contractor, and still left everything tidy and beautifully finished.
By the way, all of this was completed in torrential rain and strong winds, yet the job was still done perfectly.
A seamless experience from a team that genuinely cares about doing things right. Highly recommended.
