We’re extremely happy with our solar panel and battery installation. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain our options clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure the system was tailored to our needs.The installation itself was smooth and well organised, with the installers arriving on time, working efficiently, and leaving everything neat and tidy. Since the system was switched on, we’ve already noticed a significant reduction in our power bills.
Overall, a great experience good value for money. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering solar and battery storage.

Solar4Life achieved greatness again
Solar4Life completed a successful solar panel installation for me 5 years ago and I approached them for a quote for a battery installation in 2026. Again a very impressive professional service and delivery from Solar4Life during both the quotation and installation stages. Very helpful with knowledgeable advice when providing solutions for my battery needs for a difficult installation. Quotation was good value and well detailed. Installation date was well within the agreed target period and installers did a great job.22 January 2026
Seamless from start to finish
I approached Solar4Life in December for a quote for solar panels, battery storage, EV charger and hot water heat pump. Spoke with Ranjeet who was extremely patient, knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions I had (as someone relatively new to the technology). The process to install the system was extremely efficient and communication in the lead up to the day was excellent. All of the installers were polite, hard working and respectful. The system itself is also fantastic. I'd like to extend a big thanks the team for making the whole process as easy as possible. Smooth Sailing with Solar4Life
I got three quotes for panels through SolarQuotes. Two gave me 'off the shelf' quotes , while Solar4life contacted me and asked about household size, usage patterns etc, and then indicated that ,without a battery, hardly worthwhile. A view I'd (almost) reached independently. Their quote was consistent with the others, so, after many questions from me, we went ahead.Installation was quick, clean and neat. Slightly more complex, as i wanted a number of backup circuits.They had, prior, organised an upgrade to a wireless linked, back to grid meter. Provided detailed manual , link to monitoring app.

Outstanding service from start to finish!
I had originally signed with another company for a battery upgrade, but they were stuffing me about for more than 3 months. Serendipity called in the form of Anne from Solar4Life, and was amazing from the start. What the other company couldn't even start to achieve in 3 months, Solar4Life matched the price and then completed the install the next day. I cannot praise the customer service I received from Anne enough, and install went exactly as discussed. Narayan the electrician was bang on time, stayed the entire day, explained everything and left the site neat and tidy. If your looking for an installer in the ACT, Solar4Life should be at the top of your list.28 December 2025
Prompt battery installation but overcharged?
The quote for home battery and invertor discussion was prompt, and the installation was completed quickly. Everything is working well. However, after speaking with a few friends and colleagues who had the same battery and inverter configuration installed for nearly $1,000 less, than mine I feel that I may have been overcharged.06 December 2025
Excellent price and great service
Based on our experience with Solar4Life so far (with installation a week ago now), we can't recommend them highly enough.We started our solar journey by getting quotes from a few of the biggest installers in our area. As an afterthought, having seen them listed as an approved Solar Quotes installer, we decided to also get a quote from Solar4Life. I'm so glad that we did!
A few things stood out about Solar4Life from the start:
- They were highly responsive. Whereas I felt like I had to drag information out of the other companies, Ranjeet from Solar4Life generally answered my emails promptly.
- They took the time to explain things properly. I had a number of very technical questions about system design and specifications, and Ranjeet always answered them, including over several phone calls. None of the other companies really bothered to do this.
- They actually asked what we wanted. Some other companies just gave us a cookie-cutter design that was inappropriate for our needs.
- They did a site visit. None of the other companies I contacted showed any interest in doing this.
- They allowed flexibility in the design. During the process I asked for a number of changes, and Ranjeet updated the quotes each time within a day or two of my request. For comparison, for one of the other companies, I had to keep asking multiple times over the space of 3 weeks to get a single revised quote.
- Installation occurred as discussed. The installers arrived on schedule, and everything was finished within a day.
- Best of all, the quotes were not just competitive - they blew the other companies out of the water. I estimate my final system was provided for about 25% less than the same system would have been with the other companies. The explanation provided for the price differential was that Solar4Life hire their own electricians and labourers (whereas most of the other large companies subcontract), which allows them to keep costs lower (because there is no profit margin for the subcontractors built into the quote). I can confirm that the workers who turned up for our installation were wearing Solar4Life branded clothing, so that explanation seems to check out.
The only negative to report was a mix-up with a planned site visit, and then a confusing lack of communication over a rescheduled site visit. However, Ranjeet sorted this out a few days later, and apologised sincerely for the stuff-up.
So far our panels are producing at about the installed capacity, so the installation seems to have been successful. We will await to see what happens if anything goes wrong - but based on our previous experiences, we have no reason to think Solar4Life won't honour their support commitments in that scenario.
In summary - we have had an excellent experience so far with Solar4Life. They seem to be that rare example of a company with both competitive prices and superior service. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a solar installer in the ACT or southern NSW area.

Highly recommended. Very competitive on price and remarkable customer service
I initially declined the quote for a second battery install from Solar4life even though it was cheapest, and went with another supplier who I had used for the previous installation. They were a lot more glitzy with a fleet of pretty trucks. That previous installer let me down and could not source stock for me, despite others being able to do so.Despite the fact that I had declined the Solar4Life offer and was not proceeding (at that time) with my installation, they continued to provide good advice and solved/fine tuned my existing system. They did this at the same time that the industry was melting down under the new battery “rebate”. And without prospect of any payment.
Due to the Powerwall 2 failure I got a replacement battery. I returned to Solar4Life who somehow managed to provide me with a Powerwall 3 extension pack for my warranty replacement battery plus a new 14kW array (ie, an entirely new complete system) for little more than the other quotes I had received for just a second battery.
They lack some of the glitz, but they do an excellent job and demonstrate customer service rather than just glossy rhetoric.

Very happy with my new solar system and batteries!
This was my second time dealing with Anil and the team from Solar4Life and I am very happy with the outcome again - I upgraded my panels and added a Tesla Powerwall 3 plus expansion pack.The quoting process was detailed and very accurate - the tool they use made it very clear what the system would look like and how it would perform.
The installation was smooth and the team were punctual and friendly.
The results are brilliant - highly recommend the Tesla PW3 - and really happy with the work that the team did.

Easy, quick, quality and the best value
Received a number of quotes and Solar4Life was by far and away the best value for the same equipment being offered by other suppliers. Sales process and on site inspections were quick and thorough with good recommendations. Install was quick, efficient and well presented.Installed 15KW of solar, 24 KWH battery and a 22KW EV Charger.
Have recommended to family and friends with the higher cost suppliers charging for extras that Solar4Life covered within their more cost effective quote.

Sigenergy 40Kw
Really couldn't be happier with our Sigenergy battery from Solar4Life. Quoting was a breeze, price was competitive and the installation was professional and on time. Solar4Life - Superb from quote to installation
Got 4 quotes from Canberra companies with excellent solar quotes reviews for a battery to add AC Coupled to my 3 year old 17.2kWp SolarEdge system.Solar4Life not only came in with the best quote, but more importantly listened to my story and requests, came up with solutions that included home automation (Shelly’s and network cabling)… explaining the pros and cons of every option discussed.
Anil was available every time I had a question or request. Always happy to answer in detail. His personal touch made the whole journey a pleasure.
Installation team was professional, polite and informative. Location of devices as planned, cable work great and often hidden, everything left neat and tidy. Had a small issue with an inverter fan that was sorted out in a day with no fuss.
Cant fault these guys. Highly recommend.

Very Good Battery Installation Experience
From initial contact with Solar4Life to completion of the battery installation, the process was smooth and efficient. I particularly appreciated two site visits to discuss how the battery and back-up gateway would be installed and how it would integrate with the existing solar/inverter system. He worked around his schedule and arranged installations at a time that suited me and everything went as discussed. Perfect Installation of Battery and Inverter
Over the past 4 years Solar4Life have installed my solar system, ceiling insulation and most recently a 40kw battery and matching suitable inverter. From start to finish the process for each job has been perfect! The knowledge of the sale team is amazing - they were genuinely interested in finding me a solution for what I wanted, at a very good price point. The team is always polite and professional. Fantastic people- efficient delivery with no fuss
I worked with Anil, the business development manager, from the outset. I also had two other quotes, and Anil was most people friendly. He gave me all the advice leading to efficient overhaul of a system I had, including a 13 year old SMA micro inverter system which was beginning to slow down. Following his visit, I ended up with a 32 KWA Sigen system and a Sigen EVAC charger with nearly 20 kw solar panels on my roof (including what I already had). For the last three days even when sun is only partially visible, I am 99% on solar, including charging my Geely EX5. We have Sanden heat pump for water heating and heat pump air-conditioning throughout.Yes, we had small issues with inking the charger to the system but a visit by a keen helper sorted all out. I already had solar and all approvals were arranged without fuss and all my meter box connections and circuit breakers were upgraded to new AUNZ standard. All for the price equal to one of the other quotes I received which had no new panels or charger.
They were polite, not trying to convince me that they are the best, punctual and kept the place tidy after all the work.
I cannot be happier.

Highly recommend Solar4Life
Anil was fantastic to work with. I made regular changes to my quote request, increasing the size of the batter each time, and Anil was happy to change the quote each time, responding quickly. The quote was very well priced. Fortunately I got in before the mad rush and was able to have the installation done in the first few days of July. The installation happened on the day it was planned for and virtually everything done that day. This system was fully functional that day. There were a couple of minor tasks remaining which were done two weeks later. I am very happy with my system and the quality installation job. Solar4life were Excellent! Highly recommend.
I had 48kwh of sigenergy batteries installed, along with a 10 kw sig inverter and gateway, an EV charger, an istore heat pump HWS and a new induction cooktop. Solar4life staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Best priced quote (by a significant amount) out of the three companies recommended by solarquotes website. Company owner was extremely helpful and flexible to changing requirements and I’m glad that I followed his suggestion and installed sig batteries rather than BYD. The install staff were excellent, they were on-time, fast, professional and friendly and put in extra effort above the work that was quoted. Very Professional Solar System Installer
The Sales proposal was very prompt and very responsive to changes required. The sales representative eas very professional and knowledgeable with comprehensive system and its installation based on my requirementsThe installation of the system happened on the date and time as was agreed. The installers were very friendly and executed the installation in a professional manner without any mess left.
The customer service was very good and activated the live monitoring of the system within specified time without any hassel. The live monitoring is simple to use using the invertor mannufacturers app.
I would recomend Solar4Life based on the service they have provided.

Excellent price, quality and integrity
I contacted Solar4Life on a whim, pretty sure I was going to go with a quote from one of the big shiny company's that promote online. How absolutely, incredibly pleased I am that I didn't. Solar4Life did a like for like quote and were 10% cheaper (Powerwall 3, Solar, etc). Anil also provided alternate quotes for me, lots of different options, as I revised and revised what I wanted, he has the patience of a Zen master! Fast forward to when I eventually made up my mind, I was all ready to go and Labor announced their battery incentive. Anil immediately suggested we wait as it would be a massive saving for me (despite the massive hit to his cashflow). So I did. Now fast forward to 4th July, it's all installed and I just love it (more than one should love a metal box of electricity). The quality of install is absolutely without question, nothing, and I mean nothing was difficult for them. There were no extra charges. I even changed the location to inside my garage meaning a bollard, a hard wired smoke detector, longer wiring, no extra charge! One last example, we also got the DC EV charger installed, I had noticed on Sigen's website that they were promoting an installer offer of buy 5 get 6th free. Thought not much of it. Just today, Anil sends the final invoice and it notes "20% discount on DC EV charger due supplier bonus". Honestly, you cannot fault Anil or the team came out, Jimmy, Babu, Saab, Goodchan and the others, thank you (and sorry for definitely misspelling your names). Oh, we're in Wollongong and they were happy to travel here.

Efficient, skilled, great to deal with
Anil provided a competitive quote, did an on-site visit with his experienced panel installer (Saab) to verify layout before the final quote. The panel installers did a great job damaging only 1 tile for 42 panels, the Jimmy their electrician did a thorough and neat job with the sig 3phase inverter, stack and gateway.All in all, a very good experience from a great team.
