Fantastic service and competitive price

We recently had a solar battery installed by AR Energy and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and smoothly.

Brandon, who sold us the system, was great to deal with—super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the right setup for you.

The crew of boys who came out for the install were just as impressive. They worked hard, got the job done efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy. Really respectful and easy to deal with.

Overall, top-notch service and a quality install. Highly recommend AR Energy to anyone looking at solar or batteries.

Referred to AR Solar through a friend and they did not disappoint in any way. Brandon and his team in the office explained everything very clearly once I explained my current and future needs regarding energy use.

The onsite team were fantastic, punctual, tidy, well communicated and a great bunch of guys. They all get on very well and share the passion for what they do. Everything was well explained and no question left unanswered.

A big thank you to Max, Braden, Fergus, Aiden and Nathan who managed the final connection and run through with me.

It’s a big long term investment and I feel very at ease seeing the top quality products used and the whole process of setting up and connecting it all.

Love my solar and battery and selling back to the grid in the evenings when the price peaks.

Quick quote with a professional install

Quote was done soley via email communication (my preference). I asked for a bigger battery than was quoted for, they weren't looking to sell me more than I needed until I asked.

Installation went well. The crew arrived early and were professional while installing. They needed to rewire the switchboard and asked me questions about what I wanted rather than making assumptions. One of the panels arrived damaged, the crew organisade for it to be overnighted (3 hours from Adelaide) and was installed the next morning. They hooked the existing panels into the new inverter to take advantage of the old panels already installed.

They took me through the usage of the app and ensured that backup power kicked over.

Fantastic Installers

The installers were great. They showed up on time and explained the whole process to me.
The boys told me when power would be interrupted and when it was back on again.
After the install, they took me through the install, connected to the grid and explained the system operation to me.
Finally, they showed me the app so I will be able to monitor the system status and functions.

Review

Excellent installation.
The guys were very efficient and removed the existing 10 kWh PV array and Tesla PW2 and installed a 20 kWh PV array and 48 kWh Sigenergy battery in just one day.
I was amazed at how the team was able to do this.
I would highly recommend this company to install a solar system.

Unfortunately, the after sales service is rubbish.

Great experience, start to finish.

We recently had solar and a battery system installed by AR Energy and honestly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish.

From the initial consult and planning phase, everything felt clear and well thought out. No pressure, just good, honest advice. Luke in sales was fantastic! He is knowledgeable, easy to deal with, and really took the time to make sure we understood our options and what would work best for our home.

Install day was just as impressive. Nathan and the team were professional, respectful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was executed with precision, ran on time, and the whole process felt smooth and well organised.

What really stood out was the attention to detail. They cleaned up so thoroughly afterwards that you wouldn’t even know they’d been there.

Genuinely couldn’t fault the experience. Highly recommend AR Energy to anyone considering solar.

Professionally installed quality system

Installation guys neat, well mannered, competent.
Not the cheapest quote but seems reasonable for what was delivered.
A couple of issues prevent me giving 5 stars - batteries ordered were incorrect from wholesaler so had to come back a few days later to install and a tripping switch after installation took a couple of visits to fix. Not a big deal and handled efficiently.

Customer service is excellent!

The entire process from Brandon at AR Energy has been wonderful. So good in fact I recommended them to some family and friends for an excellent option if they were to consider a Solar Energy System.

They are assisting me with a battery cappacity increase to the system they installed 18 months ago and we hope to take further advantage of the Federal and state battery rebates that are soon becoming available.

The guys who installed my new system were polite well mannered and tidy. They did an amazing job and answered any questions I had. I wasn't convenient to have the battery in my carport so they came up with a solution. Everything was installed perfectly and explained very clearly. The grid connection was organised and all was working perfectly before they left. There was no mess left. Would recommend to anyone who wants to install all new ayaten or just battery.

I recently had AR Energy install solar and battery system at my home and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

From the initial quote right through to installation, the entire process was smooth, professional and stress-free. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions. Communication was clear the whole way through and everything was completed on time with no issues at all.

The installation itself was neat and professional, and you can tell they take pride in their work. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that delivers exactly what they promise.

Whole Experience First Class

We were looking to replace our ageing solar panels with a new panels and battery system. Brandon came to our house and explained what would be best for us in practical, easy to understand terms. He answered all of our questions with his obvious experience and expertise in the industry. Brandon's follow up quote was very price competitive and used only recommended and good quality panels, inverter and battery. A date was organised for installation and to my pleasant surprise, was actually installed before the original date. Ryan and his installation gang were prompt, efficient and helpful with questions and completed the job on time with a minimum fuss and all mess cleaned up. Ryan explained how the app worked and was very courteous and friendly. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. We are extremely happy with our new system and saving plenty of money.

Quality Installer with Fantastic Service

We had the pleasure of dealing with AR Energy for our two-day solar, battery and ev charger installation. From the initial phone conversations with Luke to the installation with all the guys on site and the commissioning with Nathan everything was smooth and hassle free. All the guys showed real professionalism ensuring the process was seamless from start to finish in a very short turn around time of only around two weeks from signing the proposal. I also have to commend the team on site for their general tidyness and attention to detail, leaving the area spotless at the end of the day. There was a small accident resulting in some minor damage to some wall render but they were quick to fix this at their own expense. A recommendation from me if you're in the market for a solar, battery and/or ev charger install.

We were very happy with all aspects of the quote and installation. All staff were very professional and gave us what we believe is the best system for our needs at the best price. James took the time to visit our house and explained our options well, beware those who just give you quotes online or over the phone and check that all costs are included. Installers worked efficiently, were polite and cleaned up after themselves well and finished ahead of schedule.

Sam pouwels A & R review 20kw battery and 8 solar panel supply and install

During sales quoting service were very helpful to tailor down the quote to meet my needs and stay within my fixed pension budget. Installers x3 arrived promptly at 7.30am to remove 20 old panels and a 2kw battery and update fuse box. The new system was 8 new solar panels and a 20kw Goodwe battery and inverter, installation of the battery bracket was problematic due to brick type, but resolved after several attempts and considerable time. Next there were problems with the fuse box as a fault kept showing up, tripping switches, this has been partially resolved in that although up and running it cannot be signed off to switch to battery in event of a power outage, until the fail is identified and and resolved. Was advised that was not covered by battery install quote and will have to get someone in to resolve this issue at my expense. As it was now 7.30pm on Monday and they had worked 12 hours in 30C they cleaned up and left. The electrician stated he would return on Friday at 8 am and sign off the paperwork and go through the app and how to use it. I was not offered assistance to connect to the grid possibly as I mentioned I was considering going through Amber. I will call them today. Overall the installers were well prepared, Polite, tidy and worked well together, I have included photos of old system and new battery system

Great Company, great customer experience.

Quoting process was great. Kurtis was patient with the amount of variations I needed to finalise our requirements.

Installation was punctual, the team turned up like a army and everyone who had a job knew it and did it. Install went smooth and the supervisor was awesome. He worked me through the grid install and the app and it is working well.

No mess left at all and had a few small jobs done while they were here on electrical items and it was a cost efficient want to get everything done.

Maddy in the office kept me informed through the whole process and all happened on time.

Aidan the owner was great with information to my questions prior to finalising our agreement for installation.

Perfect job

Everything went smoothly from initial quote, liaising with admin, installation date and delivery of all components on installation day. Also very helpful at hand over helping with apps and clearly explains the operations process. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. The professionalism of the team was outstanding. It was extremely hot on the day of installation but this did not deter the teams ability to work together respectfully with great work ethics to get the job done. We had a very hot day 39c which ended up being 43c. The crew we had l can’t speak highly enough of, everyone had a job to do and that’s what they did, they were all very nice and very polite. I would not hesitate to recomend this company for any one else’s solar and battery installations.

Polite, quick, reasonably prices.

everything about the service provided was excellent. The design and sales processes via James were professional and non-pushy. Adjustments were made without any fuss and add-ons were sorted quickly.
Blake and his installation team were excellent too . They were efficient , polite turned up when they said they would, worked extremely well together, and cleaned up after. They communicated with us and with each other with great skill. Our house layout and access are difficult but challenges were overcome without complaint. James was quick to respond to questions after the installation.
Overall our experience was amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending AR Energy.

Highly recommend AR Energy for solar and battery install

We are very happy with the installation of our battery system, especially given that many others online are reporting poor install jobs provided by other companies.
Customer service was great, the install crew were friendly, neat and ensured the install location took up least space possible.
We had some initial issues with the system not being able to export 10kW/hr, as the AR Energy team werent able to conduct the SAPN Flexible testing (blocked and delayed by the Amber VPP). This was eventually rectified once Amber had allowed AR Energy to have full access and complete the testing required.

Satisfied

The quotation was quick. Once I signed and paid the deposit, I didn’t hear from them until I messaged them few weeks later. Anyway, the installers were very punctual and polite and showed me the procedure to shut down or bypass the battery if need to. However, it was discovered that some of the lights were not working later that night. As it was late Friday night, the issue wasn’t resolved until Tuesday morning. The guy who fixed the problem was very apologetic.

As good as it gets!

I can’t speak highly enough of Blake Shaw, your electrician in charge of our solar array and battery installation team. The lads were tidy, respectful and productively efficient. Blake was outstanding in talking me through the job, installing the monitoring app on my mobile phone and making sure I understood it all. What a task and so effortlessly executed.
From the moment Kurtis Fraus, your initial contact, suggested we use our existing solar array and add extra solar panels and batteries, I knew we had a deal that would work for us.
Even the office support staff worked seamlessly through the whole operation; a most impressive AR Energy team and we thank you for your professionalism.

Exemplary service through the whole process.

I would like to commend AR Energy for the excellent service we received in the design, quoting, and installation of our solar and battery system.
I wanted to leave it for a week before providing my review so that I could analyse the power generation and storage capabilities combined with our daily power usage.
Since the moment the system was powered on our household has not imported any grid provided energy, even with the dismal grey, cloudy and rainy days we have experienced over the past week.
I commend Peter, Brandon and the excellent team of installers for the prompt, knowledgeable and very efficient installation.
The team of installers arrived on time, were very courteous and left the site clean and tidy after providing me with all the information I would need to operate the app and the system. I did not have to do anything, all paperwork and applications were completed for me and the grid was connected.
It was a pleasure to deal with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their solar and or battery installation.

Helpfull and Efficient

I commend the team from AR Energy that did the installation at my house. They worked efficiently and completed the job in one day, which surprised me, considering it involved removing an existing system and replacing it with 25 new panels and a new battery. The electrician, Nathan, put in a long day to get the system up and running, and everything was cleaned up and completed.
I also want to thank Kurtis Fraus for providing timely responses to all our questions and changes of plans. It was a pleasure to deal with Kurtus.
Because of our experience, we have recommended AR Energy to several friends who are interested in solar systems.

Since the installation date, we have used no power from the grid, and everything appears to be operating as it should.

Solar and battery installation

The AR energy was professional, easy to deal with. Price and plan of installation was sent before site seeing. That way I was able to research solar panels, battery & inverter that ware offered for installation. Installation crew was fantastic. 10kW solar panels & 20kW battery was up in one day and my roof was challenging. Also there was 3kW old system they have removed. Thanks to all involved. Great job!!!

Best quote I could find, and great service from start to finish.

I contacted AR Energy about adding more solar panels to my current system while also adding a home battery. James was very helpful throughout the quote process and provided plenty of options to choose from as well as answering all of my questions.

Once everything was confirmed, Maddy and the team kept me updated and booked the installation, and Ryan installed everything smoothly, answering all of our questions.

The quoting process was given in good time and provided more than one option. The installation took longer than anticipated but in the circumstances ( rain) was completed tidily by very polite friendly staff.

Seamless solar upgrade and battery install, highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the whole process of upgrading our solar system and adding a battery. From the first quote from Kurtis, everything was clear and easy to understand no pushy sales talk, just genuine advice and good communication.

They showed up right on time, removed the old panels, worked efficiently, and left the place spotless. The team even replaced some damaged tiles under the old panels. It was clear they really knew what they were doing.

The new panels and battery look great, and everything was up and running exactly when they said it would be. The installers were friendly and Jason expertly took the time to explain how the system works, which was much appreciated.

Impressive Solar Install

From the initial quote from Kurtis to the install by Ryan and Kane this company provided a very professional service. The installers were punctual and had a high standard of workmanship. Being a sparky myself, I was very impressed.
Upon completion Ryan explaned how the online app worked and who to contact if I required any future assistance.

AR Energy has been a dream company to deal with. Starting with Aidan who owns the company coming and giving me a quote and talking through options over a couple of conversations, Maddy at the office sending out information and invoices and finally Blake and his team installing the Sungrow system. Friendly reliable team that make sure it’s done right

I had panels installed by AR Energy and then 6 months later got batteries. Love it so much that my parents quickly followed and love their system as well. We have not had to pay for electricity since.

I would like to say AR Energy is unique as they think outside of the box. They will really study how you use your power and make sure you get a system that fits your lifestyle and usage needs. My parents got a quote from another company as well and it was a completely different set up and size to what AR Energy suggested. AR Energy studied their type of useage and surmised that they would need additional panels, being a stay at home retired couple. They needed extra panels for their day useage while also some to charge their battery. The other company just suggested a battery size equal to the panels (This would have seen them never completely charging their battery).
AR will look in to things more deeply when quoting. They have an excellent team of extremely professional and friendly installers as well as an amazing group of support staff behind the scenes looking after you.
Highly recommend. There are so many dodgy groups out there so be careful. AR Energy are professionals and responsible, they are one of the few good ones out there. Highly recommend!

True VIP Experience

Brendan from AR Energy was great through the whole design and quote process, went over and above with educating me with technical info. Adding a three phase battery to an existing system meant comparing a few options and closely analyzing the cost vs benefit.
The install process was very professionally completed, installers arrived on time and finished the job on time. A very neat install with minimal disturbance to us, left the site clean.

Couldn't be happier.

We settled on AR because of their excellent customer service, consideration of our personal needs and limitations, technical explanations and flexibility right from the start. Due to a cancellation, they were able to install our system 2 days after we signed with them. Although our site threw up some initial challenges, the AR team found perfect solutions for all of them and were simply fantastic. Original ratings

Well beyond expectations. With our old small outdated solar system, our bills (after feed in credit and discount) for the period Nov23 to Aug24 amounted to $2007. But with the new system and battery, we have amassed a $1229 CREDIT for the comparable period (Nov24 to Aug25).
