Great all round company
The sales process was both informative and guided through the process the sales person was also very and accessible to answer any questions.Great installation team courtess and efficient combined with good back up from the office it was everything we could have hoped for.04 May 2026
Excellent experience. Quality install for a good price.
DQ Electrical installed my system two months ago and it has been smooth sailing. I'm very happy with the Sigen battery and overall it was an excellent experience, from helpful sales advice right through to a high quality install. I only have one gripe and that is the solar panels had a lot of smears of sunscreen on them from the hands of the installers. I was told that it would wash off with rain, but it hasn't thus far. It doesn't seem to have affected my solar panel output much, but it detracted from an otherwise excellent install process.Panel rating: 4/5

Lived up to their Review Stars!
This is for those who want to have confidence in their installer even when issues arise and knowing they will be there to deliver.I consider my self an educated customer so my experience with sales was a cake walk. They understood the design, my intentions and timelines. Booked well in advance in January for a new home build with predicted delays in occupancy but wanting to have the install finished before the May 1st battery rebate cut over. Price was competitive. No issues here.
Install date came and rain became an issue on the first day but the team booked in 2 days and made it work. The electrician and his team did a good job on site and were knowledgeable. They also assisted with some missing screws and missing washers on the roof during the install before they were covered by panels. The battery cabling is all discrete and it looks so clean.
Now the issue the was unfortunately only spotted after install was the model of the Aiko panels installed was incorrect due to an administrative error, standard S2 vs the expected S3 all black. Both sales and the company director contacted me directly with the details of where the error occurred, their reassurance they would remedy the mistake and their action plan. They offered a discount on the panels but did not pressure me to accept it in lieu of the correct panels. A clear demonstration of their dedication to customer satisfaction.
I asked for the correct panels to be installed and they moved quickly. The panels were no longer available so the upped the wattage in the same model and were ready to ship them in from out of state. The install was scheduled the following week and the system is now up and running. Bit of a short delay to get it back off the default export limit by SAPN as it had to be retested but that was resolved the following week.
Very happy with my system and I'm glad I went with DQ Electrical. Thank you!

Fantastic Installation
My salesman Nathan was very professional, understanding & explained all my questionsThe installation by Scott & Con was punctual, polite & extremely tidy, they answered questions with understanding.
Scott explained everything & was most helpful with the grid connection & use of the charger & explaining how to check what was happening.
Also the lady in the office was sooo helpful & understanding b4 the installation with all the problems I had due to illness & travel.
I felt DQ Electrical P/L were just so professional & they really went above and beyond for me as a customer.

After obaining four quotes for solar panels and battery DQ Electrical stood out as the best quote due not only to price but their professionalism in understanding what we required. There was no pressure and the process from start to finish went smoothly. Outstanding Solar & Battery Installation by DQ Electrical
I couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose DQ Electrical for my solar and battery installation. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Brenton, Harry and Ethan were absolutely fantastic — professional, knowledgeable and clearly a well coordinated team.Their workmanship was meticulous, and they took real pride in delivering a clean, high quality install. They were also incredibly friendly and easy to deal with, making the whole process smooth and stress free. It’s rare to see a crew work together so seamlessly, and it really showed in the final result.

A great installation company. Highly recommend.
When our existing solar inverter died we sought 3 quotes for replacing the inverter and adding new panels. We also did research into the best panels available since our original purchase. DQ Electrical weren't the cheapest, but they were by far the best in explaining the process and providing top quality panels and inverter.The installation process went smoothly there were no delays from their original estimates and the installers arrived on time and finished well before the predicted end-time. All rubbish was cleared from the site
During the installation, we had a slight variation from the original quoted placement of the panels due to the proximity of existing panels, but the change was explained clearly to us and the effect on solar output was minimal. The resulting layout is just fine.
The installers instructed us on how to use the app that provides data on the panels.
Overall, we are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend.

5-Star Review for DQ Electrical
I recently had solar batteries and a new inverter installed by DQ Electrical, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The quality of service, communication, and workmanship was truly first?class. The quoting process was very informative, with multiple options presented. The communication was clear and continual throughout the process, informing me of the installation date, arrival time, etc. The installers explained the process on the day, power outage periods and explained how the system worked, including installing the application and explaining how it worked. They cleaned up all of their mess, including the removal of all rubbish from the premises.I want to make special mention of the installation team, Josh and Harry. These two are an outstanding duo and deserve to be recognised for the professionalism and dedication they bring to their work. Their depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right were evident throughout the entire installation process. They are an absolute asset to DQ Electrical. They represent the company with integrity, skill, and a genuine customer?focused attitude.
I highly recommend DQ Electrical to anyone considering solar or battery solutions. The experience was smooth, transparent, and backed by a team you can trust. Excellent service all round and price competitive.

Exceptionally professional from initial quote until completion
The initial visit from and ongoing contact with the senior solar adviser was conducted in a very professional way. He took account of and understood our specific needs and designed a system that totally met these needs. The company kept us informed at all stages of the process leading up to the installation date and the installation itself was handled in an extremely well organised and non disruptive manner by a group of very competent and polite tradespeople. The explanation of the operation of the system, including the 'monitoring app' was handled well and we are totally confident with the ongoing professional support that is offered by the company.Panel rating: 5/5

Very positive from quote to follow up
From receiving the initial quote from Jason, through installation, and a small follow up issue, the team were responsive, courteous and professional. DQ Electrical provided a very competitive price and the installation process was neat, tidy and well communicated throughout.There was a minor issue with the output volume of the solar reading higher than the actual, but this was prompted sorted out between DQ and Sigenergy within a few days and is now functioning brilliantly.
I would highly recommend the team and DQ Electrical.

Great service, great team
After receiving 3 quotes, we decided to go with DQ Electrical.Nathan did an onsite inspection & was exceptional at designing our replacement solar system & installation of a battery.
His detailed proposal offered 3 options to choose from.
Luke & his team of 3 installers were friendly, punctual & professional. Everything was left neat & tidy & all packaging & the old panels were taken with them.
I have no hesitation in recommending DQ Electrical for your solar/battery installation.

Outstanding experience from start to finish!
I am extremely happy with my DQ Electrical experience from start to finish! They jumped at the opportunity to provide a battery and solar quote. Within a day or two an experienced person was onsite and able to provide a detailed quote that met all of my requirements. Pricing was the sharpest too! Communications in the lead up to installation were great and then the electricians did a wonderful job. They were polite and courteous even willing to thoroughly clean up after themselves. Their attention to detail was superb and I could not be happier with my installation. Highly recommended and I'll be asking for some more work soon ;)11 December 2025
There is a reason DQ Electrical is the best in SA
I can't fault DQ Electrical.I did due diligence and received three quotes, and DQ Electrical were the easy winners.
1. Communication - brilliant at every step.
2. Value for money - provided a much larger array and the biggest battery capacity for the same budget as others.
3. Integrity - A tricky installation does not put them off. They do not only seek out easy/quick jobs.
4. Bespoke - They will work HARD to find a way to get as many panels on the roof as they can - even if it means relocating a TV aerial.
5. Installation - elegant installation - with all ducting hidden wherever possible. Their in-wall/in-ceiling chasing is top-notch. All circuit breakers are nicely labelled. No handwritten sharpy scribbles!
We were happy to be added to the install wait list. DQ Electrical are busy because they are the best. It's worth the wait.

There's a reason why DQ Electrical has a waiting period and a backlog of jobs.I'm more than happy to wait.
DQ Electrical is possibly the best in the game in Adelaide.
Steve was very knowledgeable, asked all the right questions, and didn't shame other installers or brands. Good, honest, straightforward advice.
DQ designed a system with significantly more capacity for generation and storage than the other quotes, at a similar cost.
Their systems for communication keep you very up to date with progress

Timely, quality and competitive prices
My brother and I shopped around and DQ was on our list as it was recommended by the electrician who built my house who said DQ use employed sparkies rather than contractors who get paid per panel. The panels installed were better quality that the other quote we were considering from RAA and DQ came to the party re price. Within weeks it was installed looking neat and I found myself thinking of why I didn’t do this earlier.

Thorough and on time
Sales person was knowledgeable and helpful, the customer service staff have always been accommodating and the installation went as expected. The installation engineers thoroughly checked everything was working before they left rather than skipping off early. Excellent communication, understanding of needs and budget
DQ Electrical recently guided us through the process to replace an old solar system with a new system including a battery. The company demonstrated a good understanding of our needs and presented a proposal that met these needs and within our budget.Although installation was delayed partially as a result of increased demand due to the new home battery rebate scheme, the wait was worth it. Installation was over within a day and after two weeks all is going well. The work included updates to safety switches and changes to a controlled load hot water service to ensure we maximise use of our generated power.
Highly recommended as a local Adelaide supplier.

Excellent service overall, highly recommend
In short, very happy with the services received from DQ Electrical right from the quotation to installation/commissioning stages. I have no hesitation to highly recommend DQ Electrical for Tesla Powerwall installation.Nathan, a very technically competent and pleasant individual, visited my home and after inspection, provided me with a proposal which was far superior technically than the other three quotes I got. I am not sharing the details here as that may provide significant clues to their competition.
The installation was exactly as promised. There was no gap whatsoever between their detailed design / installation and my understanding of what I was getting.
Josh and team did the installation / commissioning on the scheduled date efficiently, without any fuss and demonstrated attention to details. The commissioning included detailed testing of all key components/functionalities including the App setup and blackout testing.
In my view, DQ Electrical demonstrated their focus on customers’ interest throughout the process, which is not the case for many contractors in this field. For example, one of the vendors I took quote from, tried to increase the price by exactly the amount of Federal subsidy!!!! No such stunt from DQ Electrical.
All people from DQ Electrical I interacted with, in person as well as on phone (their office staff) were pleasant and responsive. They always kept their promise.
Only issue I faced with them was a period of complete silence after the order was placed and advance paid. However, after my follow-up, things got back on track. This probably was because of very high demand after the Federal subsidy kicked in.

Highly reccommended
The DQ Electrical team arrived early in the morning to replace 28 old solar panels, install 40 new ones and a battery. They completed the job in a day. From the first quotes to the completed project they impressed me as a highly skilled professional team who knew what they were doing and stayed focussed throughout. They reminded me of a team of gun shearers. They were polite, courteous and always helpful. A group of really impressive young blokes. Very highly recommended installer
For the 5th time over the past 6 years DQ Electrical have put in a winning bid for sustainability upgrades at our model eco-village Christie Walk. We’re always very pleased to have the highly-skilled and well-trained team of DQ electricians on site. They respect our property, arrive well-prepared and briefed for the job and achieve difficult wiring tasks, installation and commissioning remarkably quickly, whilst still taking all care to do the job properly to ensure smooth and reliable running once they leave the site. Each time Don Quattrocchi and his team have gone the extra distance, working with us to plan innovative solutions for the inevitable problems of retrofitting into crowded spaces. The installation was completed a month earlier than originally scheduled, so we’re delighted.DQ Electrical jobs on our site have ranged from a major PV upgrade, then our first home battery, followed by a second home battery, then a heat pump hot water system upgrade and now in July 2025 adding our 3rd and 4th Tesla Powerwalls plus a Tesla Wall Connector for EV charging. Very highly recommended; couldn’t ask for better.

DQ are a 1st class provider of Solar & Battery systems
I did my research and homework when shopping for my solar system provider and we have never had reason to regret choosing DQ Electrical. This install is our 2nd DQ Electrical solar system - twice as large as the first and with batteries. DQ as always have been super helpful, providing us first rate expertise and service. True 'subject matter experts', solar and batteries are DQ's core business, which was valuable for us on our complex install. Navigating the financials, politics and changing rebate environment, we were scheduled for installation in the week of the federal election energy policy announcements! Fact-finding, recalculating, adapting and re-specifying on the fly highlighted DQ's expertise and efforts to ensure we got the quality outcome we were seeking and best value option. Excellent service
DQ Electrical did a great job with installing solar battery from quote to installation. Their service was next to none, great communication and comparable pricing. They were very thorough in explaining the different options for the battery to suit the existing solar panels and the best location for it. I would highly recommend them. The battery itself has been performing as expected. Reliable and honest to deal with. The whole process from the quote to the installation went smoothly.
Solar quotes helped us in recommending 3 installers wherein we decided to get DQ Electrical. This company was also recommended by my friend where he also got his battery and solar system. There was a little difference from the price that DQ quoted to us but the inverter and panels they used are really good quality after watching various research and reviews. The process from the quote up to the final installation went very smoothly, and they have very friendly and accommodating staff. I will definitely recommend DQ to my friends as well.05 July 2025
Five stars all the way.
From the initial interview and product selection through to the contract and finally the installation it was all seamless.For me they had the combination of products that suited my installation. As I had a small section of roof the Aiko panels with their high output and small area were perfect. Add a Fronius inverter and an 11 kW BYD battery I have a powerful system.
All dealing with the staff at DQ Electrical have been a pleasure, they are are competent and friendly team who I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking a quality system.

Excellent Service
The sales people at DQ Electrical took time to understand the particular needs for my new battery setup. They proposed a technical solution that fits well with my existing solar system. Our battery was installed two days ago by two DQE electricians. Like the sales staff, they too were friendly and professional. Before leaving our house the installers made sure that the battery controller was connected to the internet, and that my wife and I had the App set up on our phones and were able to monitor the new system. Fantastic service
Communication was great. Very clear and prompt. Sales matched our needs best. Installation was fantastic. The team were polite, efficient, punctual, friendly and a great team. Our site was left tidy and clear instructions were given about our system and how to use it. Very impressed.
Wouldn't get anyone else to install our solar or battery
We had DQ Electrical install our solar panels a while ago and were very impressed with the salespeople and the installers then. The came they installed and then cleaned up their mess like new. Never had any issues with the solar panels. When it came time to have a battery installed, I didn't hesitate in ringing DQ Electrical again for a quote (I did ring other companies). We once again were impressed by the salesperson who came out, and the professionalism of the production of the quote, no question was to silly and was answered quickly and to our total satisfaction.
