Highly recommend

Excellent service, very efficient.
Receiving a quote and the process was easy, loved how majority of it could all be done via online. The team arrived for install very punctual and knowledgeable! Talked me through it all and all the trades people/labourers were lovely and polite. I'd highly recommend G solar for your solar installs. they also left absolutely no mess.

G Solar & Electrical for the win

I recently upgraded my home solar and battery system through
G Solar & Electrical and could not be happier with the experience.

I previously had a six-year-old system consisting of 5kW of solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery. Over time the battery capacity had degraded, and Tesla offered a replacement with the new Tesla Powerwall 3. As G-Solar & Electrical are Tesla Premium Installers, they were the obvious choice to handle the upgrade.

In March 2026, their team completed a major system upgrade, installing 45 Phono Helios CLEAR 440W Dual Glass Bifacial panels (19.8kW) along with a Tesla Powerwall 3 and expansion pack, giving a total of 27kW of battery storage.

From the very beginning, the team at G Solar were fantastic to deal with. Alexis Rogato (Business Manager) was courteous, professional and extremely prompt with all communications during the planning stage. Helen Durand (Administration) was also incredibly helpful in answering my questions along the way. Daniel (Installation Manager) coordinated the job smoothly, and Anthony and his on-site installation team were absolute professionals on the day. The workmanship was excellent, the wall installation is neat and tidy, and as an added bonus the team completed the job ahead of schedule.

I cannot recommend G Solar & Electrical highly enough. If you’re considering solar or battery storage, they are a professional, knowledgeable and reliable team to work with.

Great quality products, excellent service and attention to detail

G-solar made the whole process straight forward.
From my initial enquiry online to have additional solar and a battery installed, they called to clarify details and provided me with several quotes promptly.
Accepting the quote and making a deposit was easy, and G-solar stayed in touch throughout the whole process, updating me what paperwork needed completing and when they would next be on site.
They even moved my install date earlier than first arranged which was even better.
The workmanship was excellent, and everything was installed and tidied up without fuss, you wouldn't have even know they'd been at my place, except for the fact there was a big new battery now in my garage.
Signing up to the system app was easy and everything was working without fuss.

Fantastic solar and battery installation

Brilliant service. From the initial enquiry to the handover, the install was smooth and easy. All questions asked were promptly answered. We installed a system with a battery and from day 1 have not used any power from the grid - winning!!
Throughout the process we were kept informed every step of the way, it was just all easy. Added bonus, the guys on the tools left the place immaculate . Very happy with our new system!

Great team, installation and products.

The quoting process involved a few calls and emails as I had two smaller systems that were still working, 1 was 7 years old and the other over 10 years old. They were always responsive to these inquiries but I think there was always a preference for a completely new system rather than a hybrid system.
I went for a completely new system due to upgraded technology, warranty and compatibility. Now that it is installed the extra cost does seem worth it due to the simplicity of monitoring it and those other advantages.
The installation team were fantastic. Spent a long hot day on my roof with minimal interruptions and great communication. The installation looks to be of the highest quality.

A gem of a company

We contacted G Solar based on feedback from our electrician and after reading the reviews we were further committed to engaging them for our project. G Solar proved to be incredibly efficient in the processes they employed at every stage and every person that we engaged with was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. From enquiry through to post installation follow up they are professional and friendly. All aspects to do with subsidy submission through to energy provider approval are managed by the company and you are kept informed of every aspect with all the paperwork associated with the install provided to you. We had extra panels installed as well as a Sigenergy inverter and battery system and it is spot on for us and could not be any more user friendly.

The installation was a standout not only in how efficient it was but also in how available the staff involved were to answer questions so we understood the install, the function and the safety features associated with the system. This is a company that you can feel confident knows what they are doing from beginning to end ,and beyond if you need more advice.

G Solar made a big investment as stress free as they possibly could and in fact it is clear that as well as a professional install of a great system they have it as their goal to make sure you feel in control and well informed at every stage.

G-Solar & Electrical supplied a 9.5kW solar system and 40kW SigEnergy Battery Storage System. From quote to installation Grant and the team have been professional, provided relevant information and completed the installation without any dramas. Bryson completed the installation of the battery storage system in a day and left the area spotless. I fully recommend G-Solar and if you move quickly the Federal Rebate applies which is a great saving.

Solar Upgrade

After having solar on our roof for over ten years, my wife and I decided it was time for an upgrade. At the same time, we planned to have the roof re-screwed and repainted. I contacted G-Solar for a quote to upgrade our existing solar system — both with and without batteries — and advised them of the upcoming roof maintenance. The quoting process was seamless and completed entirely online. Once I accepted the quote, G-Solar agreed to remove the old panels so the roof work could be done before we went on holidays, with the new system to be installed upon our return. They were very accommodating to this arrangement.

The technicians arrived on the scheduled day and got straight to work. Chris and his team were punctual, polite, and exceptionally tidy — so much so that a friend who installed our hot water system later commented on how neat the inverter installation was. After the installation, Chris even took the time to help me set up the monitoring app on my phone, allowing me to easily track our electricity usage.

Efficient and friendly

A very good experience overall.
The quote was handled will, with the team promptly replying to any questions that in had.
The installation date was booked in and did not deviate from the planned date.
Installation started later than expected due to an overrun from the previous day; however I was informed of this the day before and was happy with that. My install also ran to the next morning due to this.
The team were friendly and efficient.
Everything was tidied up well after the install.
They ran me through the work done and let me know the follow up procedures eg getting the app for the inverter.
I was contacted after the install to see if I was happy with everything.
All in all a great experience.

Absolutely faultless experience

Absolutely faultless experience. From enquiry, to quote, to installation and post install follow up, we could not have been more happier with the solar install.

Small things like emailing and calling back on the same day, showing up for install on time and even offering to fix the rusty roof screws - may seem like basics of customer service, but it is rarely seen these days. System is working like a dream - sorry Ergon!
