The office and warehouse of Halcol Energy sits proudly on Nicklin Way in Bokarina and has done so since 2010. We employ full-time qualified sales, design, installation, and support staff who will work closely with you before, during, and long after the project is completed. Our dedicated in-house team includes electrical engineers, project managers, solar PV designers, and electricians.Halcol Energy takes great pride in the fact that we have already donated over 300 kW of solar capacity to Sunshine Coast- based charities including Bloomhill Cancer Care, Steps Pathways and Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter Rescue."

Very professional and clear explanation of available options
Halcol covered the optimal solution to cover our property for blackouts and reduced energy bills. We are yet to install however I’m confident we chose the best value for our requirements. Good differentiation and quality on combined inverter and battery options and also colour coded bollards that blend in with the batteries and our garage space. Will provide another review post installation. 5 stars given for install and customer service as this was a mandatory field. This is based on great pre-sales work.10 September 2025
Fantastic installation and support
I had an old system (comprised of two single phase systems on 3 phase mains power) completely replaced with 20kw of panels, a 15kw 3-phase Sigenergy inverter and 40kwh of battery storage and couldn't be happier. The sales/quote process was excellent, they really took the time to understand my goals and what I needed. The interaction with Energex left a lot to be desired though (and completely out of Halcol's control). Due to weather the installation was completed over 3 days, 2 one week, one the next and the team onsite couldn't have been better. Very professional, happy to have me "hover" and watch what was happening and took the time to explain every question I had. We are now a couple of weeks post that and I couldn't be happier with the process and the fact that discussion and questions about future options and how to optimise what I have now are welcomed openly. I would always recommend getting quotes via Solarquotes, however if you select Halcol I don't believe you will be disappointed with the outcome from this family run business.Panel rating: 5/5

Awesome supplier from start to finish.
>The sales/quoting process was prompt and the Sales Person was very helpful and patient.>The installation went great with the Installers being very friendly and polite, they were exactly on time and they cleaned up very good upon completion. The installers were awesome!!
>The customer service has been great so far, they organised for connection to the grid after the install and I was notified three days later by Energex informing that my connection had been accepted. We are still waiting to connect the battery on July 1st 2025 and that's when they will show me how to use/monitor the system correctly.
Halcol Energy
Halcol has installed 24 solar panels and 24 kwh battery for our house recently.The service from the start was faultless. In giving our quote, Ali said to contact him anytime, and I did! He really responded so professionally to my many request for information. So impressed were we with the process that my two daughters also signed up with him.
At short notice I changed my requirements in battery size and that was accommodated without complaint. The installers arrived on schedule and were a pleasure to deal with. Ethan and his team went out of their way to organise last minute changes to layout of panels that were necessary. Halcol supplied extra attachments that were required on the same day.
They worked into the evening to ensure completion. Everything was fully explained.
We could not be happier with the whole operation.
