You got my signature in the end and thanks to you, I got to experience Helcro Solar to the fullest.
Mitch, your knowledge and workmanship are second to none!
Thank you for taking the time to go through the pre-installation checklists with me to ensure that everything was in order. Fantastic work with the retrofitting of the Power Dock Pro, your attention to detail and quality of your craft is duly noted and greatly appreciated.

Thank you for treating our home with care during the course of the installation process.
I was specifically impressed with the constant dialogue and consultation to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction and requirement.

Top class customer service
Once signedn, HelcroSolar was responsive to any request which was impressive given the increased business associated with the opening of the Federal rebate. The process was fully described with Helcro Solar facilitating paperwork and keeping us appraised of timeliness.10 months later we asked Geoff : "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

They have delivered what they promised, have been responsive when I haves called (many times) and have given good advice. The day of installation went very smoothly, they arrived on time and were all very nice people and easy to deal with. They cleaned up quickly and efficiently. It was much less disruptive than I thought it would be. The after sales service has been important to me and so far this has been very good.Panel rating: 5/5

Helcro
On the day I requested a quote Helcro rang me and arranged for a representative to visit the following day to check the roof and best position for the battery (other companies relied on google maps picture of property prior to quotes)Several days later their electrician had a site visit who also did a thorough check and discussed the process that would happen during the installation
A date was booked for installation and crew arrive on time and over the 2 days it took to complete they were polite and informative the site was left in a clean state on completion
Two of the crew called in the day after completion for several hours and did a final check to make sure all was ok and I was happy with the results

Helcro Solar were excellent!
After applying to get 2 quotes for a battery installation from SolarQuotes, I was quickly contacted by 2 companies. Both were able to give me a quote after an extensive phone conversation and looking at my detailed electricity data.Both quotes were similar, but we went with Helcro as thier quote was margianlly cheaper, the inverter was a slighlty higher spec, and the brand the propsed was one I had already used and was happy with.
I did have to wait a few weeks for an install date, but Helcrow contacted me several times to give updates and explain the process.
Once we had our install date, the team turned up and were very efficient, courteous and explained everything clearly. Thier work was very neat and they cleaned up and took all of the packaging away.
Helcrow arranged the inspection and comissioning, which all went very quickly. My battery was fully operational within 3 days of the installation.
Their admin team were efficient at providing information, and the billing stages went exactly as they said it would.
Overall, Helcro were great to deal with, and we are very happy with our system.
We have had bad experiences with solar companies in the past, but I would fully trust the companies recommended by Solar Quotes.

Thanks Helcro, higtly recommended experience
I had solar batteries installed. The sales manager was very knowledgeable, an excellent communicator and he answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with the information Lee from Helcro provided and my research confirmed this to be true.The installers were polite punctual and also great communicators. I was very impressed with the quality of their installation and also that they cleaned up afterwards. They were also highly recommended and couldn't be faulted.
The overall customer service was excellent and I highly recommend the experience of working together with Helcro and for the great asset they provided. I was provided with excellent communication on how to use the battery reporting and I'm a happy customer.

Fantastic Installer with a focus on quality and after sales service.
I had Helcro Solar install my new battery shortly after the new battery rebate came in, and the experience was excellent.The sales team were great to deal with and took the time to ensure I fully understood all my options before making a big purchase decision. With the increase in demand there were some installation delays, however Helcro kept me informed throughout the process so I was never left in the dark.
When installation day arrived, the team came on time and did a fantastic job. The finished work was neat, clean, and very professional.
As most battery owners would know, there were some issues with Sigenergy inverters and mine needed to be replaced. Again, Helcro kept me up to date on the expected timeline and proactively reached out to book a suitable time for the replacement. A special shout out to Ben and Mitch—they came out to replace the inverter and also made a few tweaks to the system to ensure it was optimised and working to its full potential.
Even though the sales process was easy to navigate, you really get a good sense of a company by their after-sales service, and the team at Helcro—especially Ben and Mitch—went above and beyond to ensure everything is working exactly as it should.

Helcro Solar- panels & Battery
We decided to go with Helcro Solar. They have been fantastic to work with, nothing is too much trouble. Due to the Christmas break, we have been slow to get moving, so installation will proceed within the next 7 weeks.Sales and quoting have gone without a hitch, looking forward to installation.

Full confidence in installer
Quoting process was straight forward and included a site visit by one of there installers who explained things thoroughly.Installers turned up on time and the job was completed quicker than I expected.

Steep learning curve
Installation was done in about 4 hrs. Halfway through the job, installers released that they forgot to install a cement sheeting behind the battery, so they had to start over.Goodwe app is not very intuitive. Had to call the head office to assist with the configuration. They were very helpful.

Amazing to work with
Helcro Solar installed a 14kw solar + ~48kw battery for me. Amazing staff. Shout out to Lee, who has been super supportive and great to work with, and the other's in their team: Mitch, Daniel, etc. Can't recommend them enough!The quoting process was easily explained and I was given a few options where it was explained what the pro's/con's for each system was.
The installation was quick and efficient, they tidied up the site perfectly after.
Can't thank them enough.

Great system, good installation
The sales process was informative and extremely responsive to our many questions. The installation went smoothly. Fully cleaned up at the end of the job. Fantastically prompt attendance by the independent inspector (next business day after the installer called them) Accounts were promptly paid, but receipts were not always provided. This a concern when paying large sums of money. Still waiting on commissioning of our new battery system by United Energy who have requested further information from our installer.Inverter rating: 5/5

Great installation but some issues with post-install service
I purchased an Enphase battery to match existing Enphase solar panels. The pre-purchase, installation and connection was made simple by Helcro. The system is working as expected.There is an ongoing minor issue associated with the Enphase app. The values it provides are different to those of the energy retailer. Helcro is working with Enphase to resolve this but it has been going on for over 3 months. There have been cancelled appointments and poor communication which.
As said, the system is working fine but this minor issue to finalise things is frustrating.

Simple process, knowledgeable staff
Sales/technical staff were able to provide pros/cons to the various options at which we were looking and assisted in refining our choice. Also visited site to confirm the solution would work in the proposed location.Installation was simple, turned up at the time, completed the task without fuss and left the site tidy at completion. Installer communicated well, letting us know when power would be disrupted and after installation explained how to download and use the monitoring application.

Initially I persisted to get technical information in order to properly appraise the offer, as I have a technical background. I also looked at options that took a little time to arrive. Eventually all OK and satisfied with result.02 December 2025
Satisfied quoting process, fantastic installation
I have to say, I’m a high-maintenance customer. I reached out to more than five salespeople for quotes at the beginning, and none of them were as patient as Gabriel. He took the time to explain everything clearly and provided multiple proposals, even after countless emails back and forth.The installation team of three was young, passionate, and professional. They even tidied up my garage after finishing their work, which I really appreciated.
I hope to review again in a year and share my long-term experience with the solar system.

Great team, easy to deal with
The sales process was a bit clunky. They originally provided me with a few options/estimates which I found a little confusing before sending around their specialist to do a site inspection and provide a guaranteed quote. During the site inspection the specialist was the only one who actually got up on my roof, listened to my concerns about string vs optimised panels and provided some good advice on how to use the system once it was up and running.The installers were lovely and polite, arrived on time on both days and left the outside clean and tidy at the end of both days of the install. The finished job with the battery and inverter looks lovely and neat.

An Objective Review
The Sales / Quoting process from Helcro Solar was great. They responded to my queries and requests for tweaks with prompt responses and came up with the best value for money quote.The installer, I think, was a subcontractor to Helco and was neat and competent. However, I was asked to pay a further $1000 by the installer to make my switchboard fully compliant despite the accepted quotation including $1050 for Partial Blackout Protection circuits and compliant componentry. I feel I am being over charged for a couple of breakers here and this should have been included in the original scope of works.
The old decommissioned solar system and pile of packaging from the new system was left in my driveway for a week and was only removed when I followed it up with Helcro. I think this was another oversight by the subcontract installer.
The Independent Inspector came 3 days after the installation on a Saturday morning and was quick and pleasant to deal with. The system was put into service and is working perfectly. One query I had with the Inspector related to the installation of a smoke detector above the battery as this was not done by the installer. He explained that technically this was not a "shall" be installed but just a "should" be installed requirement and suggested I get one from Bunnings myself.
The panels have been installed as designed but some seem to be sitting a little bit out of plane alignment.
To date there has been no explanation of the System. The MySigen phone App is easy enough to understand but a better understanding of the System and Gateway would be helpful.

Great service from Helcro Solar
Helcro Solar was quick to quote with multiple options and all the information that I needed to decide.They were responsive to my phone inquiries.
The installation was completed on the agreed date with a high degree of professionalism.
Overall, I am happy with how everything went.
I am now waiting for the inspector to come and give the final tick off/commissioning.

A professional from start to finish
Great experience started with Craig who arranged for Ben to come out and do a site inspection to prepare the quote. Both were extremely helpful. When Ben arrived he was thorough, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He guided me through the process and set expectations for the whole process. We made the decision to go with Helcro Solar based on this experience. Installation was booked soon after. The crew that arrived had the job done same day. They were efficient and when they finished the left the job site clean and in the same state they found it. Very professional. After installation, they took care of connection to the grid and worked with the power company on our behalf. Great service. Would thoroughly recommend Helcro Solar to anyone looking at installing solar.
Excellent experience
The process of buying, designing and installing a solar system, plus battery, went well with Helcro. The system performs as warranted. The process of purchasing, supply of equipment, connection and commissioning was handled very competently. Helcro and their contractor, Victory Electrics, have "industrialised the process" so that little is left to chance from design to commissioning. A highly professional crew.Panel rating: 5/5
